So that Jay Fuchs Movie just released on Amazon Prime so I decided to give it a watch because I think Jay is sexy. Anyway I’m not gonna go into full detail in the movie because it gets weird so here’s some pros and cons into some bullet points ( If you disagree or think my take on the film are dumb, apologies in advance I am American)
Pros: • The acting isn’t that bad in my opinion (still a little bad)
•You get to see Jay nude a couple of times
•You get to see montages of her working out
•The plot delves into the stress that goes into bodybuilding in general which should be talked about more
Cons: • Some scenes are weird and interpretative (can be hard to follow) but it’s also supposed to be important to the theme somehow?
•In the movie Mona (Jay’s Character) talks to her body and her body can speak and it a deep creepy voice
•The message of the movie while interesting kind of done in a “wow look at us so different in the way we convey a message”sort of way
Overall it wasn’t bad probably won’t reach mainstream success considering it’s technically been out since early 2023 I think
