Well.. Will be there any better solution soon?!.. I still have 0 queue slots for almost 3 weeks now.. It's really disappointing.. It destroys any enthusiasm and passion for those who love uploading on this website on daily basis.. Now i have to wait the entire day to barely have only 1 daily upload if I'm lucky.. This is really really sad.. I don't think i deserve this, neither me or anyone who loves to upload many uploads here..

Maybe he wants to reduce people who upload too much on the website. Cos honestly it's only someone who's frustrated and doesn't know what to do, will just come up with some limitations in the site without alerting users
It appears that the moderators are worn out from dealing with multiple duplicate uploads. If that's the case, why not make the upload queue public and let users police themselves? If they don't, then penalize those who fail to check before posting. I mean you have the ability to punish us as multiple of us are currently unable to post more than one upload. That's just my suggestion, hopefully you'll give it some thought.
As a person who enjoys looking at the new uploads, I haven't noticed any reduction in the content. That seems to indicate that while the limitations are frustrating to some of you, they are still allowing plenty of uploads overall. Other people have figured out how to balance their enthusiasm for uploading with the constraints.
The automated systems need to work for the mods, within the constraints of the mods' time to manage the system. If not, then experience says the entire project will eventually disappear.
Self-moderated systems are interesting and can work, but are always more complicated than you think. People look for ways to weaponize or vandalize the system. It often requires intense moderator effort to get past the development stage. Wikipedia is a great example of how even a user-run system can also require the backstop of select moderators with overriding powers.
I just wish there was a warning that they were going to limit some users downloads. They obviously had specific users that they limited, so just out an email to them and give a heads up. Itβs now been 3+ wks and still limited to 1 per day
Lately we've had to process way too many merges of duplicate uploads, to the tune of 50-100 per day.
In order to cut down on this, I ran a script to find the 15 or so users whose uploads most frequently end up in merges and applied additional throttling to their upload counts. You are one of these users. Specifically, 31% of your uploads from the past month have ended up in a merge, whether by winning the merge or losing. (In your case you have 38 merge losses and 9 merge wins.)
If you want to get the restriction removed, spend the next few weeks uploading pictures that don't get merged, or have other uploads merged into them. This means: don't upload pics which others are also likely to upload.
After that, message me and I'll take another look, and remove the restriction if your stats look good.
Itβs been a βfew weeksβ.
Currently my thinking is that for the affected users, I'm going to restore some of your uploading capacity but through "Lesser Known bonus uploads" slots only. So you'll be able to upload more than just the one daily pic, but only if you upload pictures of lesser known models. This will also conveniently help you in avoiding uploads that need merging.
Exactly what does βlesser knownβ mean? Does it mean a certain number if subscriptions? A certain number of favorites on their pics/vids?

If this is the plan, when will it be implemented?
I've been having problems with my bonus uploads, they dont refresh at all and I have plenty of favorite images.
Can some one give some idea of how the bonus uploads refresh and does that change when you upload several images with plenty of favorite images?
Thanks
One upload is 10 times better than our uploads being on queue for 3 days. Same pix has been uploaded by someone else and he orbshe is already receiving all the votes. Not cool mehn
"the next few weeks" can be months. No one's perfect. How do you expect one to know the same thing has been uploaded? The person in the image can decide to do a video then take snapshots. If you had sent some warning before the judgement, that'd have been very understandable. If the uploads were reduced to two. It's still a fair trade
