I don't know most women don't have a good reason to come here. just like I won't go to a site called dudes with muscle. the only thing I can think of is put a bunch of workout tips on here but you can find them on other sites. one thing that we have no control over but can affect it is the culture. in the 2000s people in general world explore and experiment with smaller websites while nowadays they mostly stick to Instagram TikTok Twitter and YouTube. and some muscle women don't know we exist or if they do they don't see the point. but since Instagram is going downhill more fbbs could start posting on this site for me accessing Instagram is very annoying after I got banned because of their shitty anti spam. now I need to use pickuri and it sucks so I think many people can't access Instagram it's also banned in many countries but Instagram will ban you if they find out you are using a vpn so this site does have some advantages. if they can handle random weird comments that are probably common on Instagram too. and are not trying to portray their content as not sexual but it's going to be hard because most of them are not very technical and only use the most popular things because they get more views.
When you spend any time on the forums or the chat, you'll realize that the vast majority of the userbase is comprised of men. I can't think of many women who regularly visit with the exception of, say, Kristi Pugh (and even then she hasn't logged on in months). I am fully aware that fetish sites in general attract more men than they do women, but do you think there is anything that can be done to encourage more women to be on the site, whether that be with posting pics or participating in the forums and chats? And I want to clarify that I don't just mean women who lift, but women who, while not a muscular, are either into muscular women or are interested in weight training and in finding inspiration.
Honestly, that would be a bad idea. First, some of the topics here are meant for people with sexual attraction to women in varying capacities. The NSFW+ section could be disastrous in hindsight if more female traffic came in.Not saying I think the forum section is terrible or more women would be a disaster, but there could be some clashing. Especially with some of the more aggressive and sensitive female personalities. Second, some of the men on this site can be vulgar, immature, antagonistic, and rude.These are the men who hijack some of these topics and just spew awful vibes and energy. Also the same guys who force Chanier and CG to lock certain forum topics. Some men (unfortunately) can't seem to behave even with other men and I doubt women will deal with it less and respond well to it either. Third, the comment section is a toss up between extreme admiration, brutal critics, and fetish related/backhanded compliment. An example of fetish related/backhanded would be like "I love her acne all over her back, so sexy" and "I want her to turn into a roid mass monster next". I know many fbb's who would get severely embarrassed or insecure if they had those comments under their photos and attracting more women to the site would have those situation happen more regularly.All of which may add to the women wanting herself off the site completely and I haven't seen many women return (unfortunately). For example: Margie Martin, Hulda Lopez, Jessica Sestrem, Melissa Brodsky, Oana Hreapca, Gracie Parker, Manon Vergé, Irene Andersen, Aleesha Young, Sara Bradley, Nicole Siff, andAmanda Machado (and some of these women actively do porn and feel uncomfortable being on this site). Some of these women actively cam on HBC which is sponsored on this site and they still don't want to be featured on this site (which is wild to me but w.e)
To get more women on this site you would need to 1. Change the community guidelines 2. Post muscular men on this site 3. Change the legal terms and conditions of the site, and 4. Overall some of the forum section completely to avoid conflict. Honestly, I don't think we need to add anymore female traffic than already naturally flows into this site.
I'm with you Gatsby, but I think we both know that nothing can be done.
This site exists in a rare space, probably because of its age and forum tech. It could be a home for female bodybuilders and their admirers, but that would require a much higher level of moderation. Nuking lots of comments, banning lots of users, and enforcing general rules of civility.
I've seen this work well on Dylan Crenshaw's "MuscleGirlSociety" Discord. But that's a closed, invite-only community. It was founded by women and is run by trusted male mods who actively keep it clean and respectful. Not the case here.
I just don't think that any women would be comfortable interacting here. Although I'm a bit surprised that more professional girls (like Angie Yao & Melinda Lindmark) don't take the time out to promote their OF and such. We definitely have a ton of cheap incels here who will never support these women with a single dime, but there's most likely a lot of potential clients too.

I know where you're coming from. Ideally, this site would be a place where anyone would feel welcome to browse around and chat. I admit it would be pretty cool to have a few pro FBB's in the chatroom just chillin and talking about their lives. It wouldn't be long though before someone sends one of them a PM stating "hey bb u make my dick hard."
The biggest reason they don't come here is there are simply better alternatives for them, for whatever reasons they have. If they're looking for inspiration, I think most of the conventional social media sites are probably better suited for that. If they want to promote themselves, they're probably not losing much by just advertising themselves on their own social media pages rather than coming here at all.
Lastly, they most likely don't know about this site. This goes hand in hand with the first reason, as they would have no reason to search for GWM since IG, Twitter, Youtube, Reddit, Facebook, etc. are all proving to be more lucrative for them.

Women joined forums like Oxygen and SiouxCountry. Both of those once-thriving forums are now defunct and shuttered when they were still very popular.
I think Oxygen was closed because of a management or ownership change and they wanted to go in a new direction, but it's been so long I cannot remember. SiouxCountry quit when some of the forum moderators and "leaders" created a new, women-led forum of their own. Maybe it was a subforum of a larger platform, but whatever it was, it wasn't his and Sioux was salty about it. He hated the idea that they might make him less relevant, but really hated the fact that they did this without his "blessing". So, he just closed his site, never to be heard from again. And in so doing, he damaged his own legacy by revealing his motives were never as pure as he'd pretended they were.
But like the other guys have said - time is money.

We've changed the narrative by keeping things clean and offering various topics of discussion, where Dylan & co try to give users a platform to let their unique personalities shine, outside of just "omg I luv muscle mommies"

What separates Muscle Girl Society from the other servers in this way. I'm aware it's properly modded and there is some coordination with FBBs, but when you say that the users there aren't there to lurk and jerk, what are the users there for?
Again, to clarify I am not just referring to women who have their pictures on this site. I am talking about women in general who might have an interest in lifting/bodybuilding and/or are into buff women.
That will just lead to more women requesting the removal of their pictures from GWM.

The "keep the women out" message from some is all that needs to be said about why this won't change.
Perhaps there more woman than one suspects as we usually don't constantly talk about our gender and there is a very big chance to get harassed if you mention you are a woman into muscle with muscle. There are also more men that like to look at (muscular)woman then there are woman who like to and visa versa. And if a interested woman decides to look at this kind of material, there is a chance that she would be put off by the somewhat discriminating and suggestive name "Girls with muscle" Which might give her the idea that its more a site for people with a certain preference? Girls could also suggest young? Does she decide to have a look around the forum there's a lot off somewhat discriminating or assorting subjects, Race, Short, Big, Small, Dry, Fat and some more clearer fetish topics like abs showing true clothes, deepest voice, veins etc, the possibility to search with tags linked to a body part etc and last but certainly not least the sometimes very female friendly and nice sexual oriented comments and the possibility of stalking kind of behavior of some members. This is all build around material that is floating around on the www but without all the benefits off the above :-)

I think at this point, the GWM "brand" has been around long enough where most would likely be opposed to fundamental changes to the core site experience in favor of allowing it to be more welcoming to all; the site serves its purpose, and while the forums are here for discussions outside of muscle, the vast majority of subjects still focus on the fetish aspect of it all.
What could be done to potentially allow more females to come in (assuming they're not already registered as users and we just don't know it)? Probably something dramatic like a complete visual overhaul of the site and forums, allowing for more "modern" designs and such. Though I would feel at this point and time, that would be far too much work for what likely would be diminishing returns.
As to quickly touch on what others have mentioned about the MGS Discord, we allow for users to participate in various topics of discussion outside of female muscle ranging from entertainment, sports, politics and others, so that they can let their own individual personalities shine through. Of course, there is a large number that lurk, though I feel we do allow the metaphorical door to be open, making it easier for shy users to go through and start to converse with others.
Now, as to what people do with whatever material they may see on there, that's completely their prerogative and there's nothing we can do about that... it's just we enforce people not posting baseless comments that lack any substance, thus keeping things clean and on track with the topics at hand. We don't condone what the fetish does to people in the space of a public community such as our Discord server, but we also accept that there's a time and place to do what you need to. We just don't need to hear about it lol

Agreed on all points.
As a member of both sites, I'll say that the overall presentation and vibe is radically different. In both communities, the crowd (including me) are muscle fetishists looking to admire and be aroused by pics of jacked girls.
GWM is a site made by men, for men. Women are the objects to be admired and critiqued and lifted up and torn down. They don't really have a place here outside of sexual objects. People come here to look at the pics, get off, and maybe chat and debate with some other guys.
I say this without judgement. I'd categorize Herbiceps and Saradas and Pornhub and the vast majority of "adult" sites in the same way.
MGS Discord is an invite only community. I don't know if it was started by women, but that's the impression I get. In a way, I feel like I'm in Dylan Crenshaw's domain, and I'm expected to act politely or I'll be kicked out. As there's a sense of civility and a smaller, insular community, there does seem to be more off-topic discussion there. Guys come to look at muscular girls, but they feel comfortable enough talking about other stuff.
If I was an FBB, then MGS Discord would feel like a little gathering at the Olympia while GWM would feel like a strip club in the rough part of town.
I don't think that there's any "fixing" or changing this. The users of GWM don't want it and the mods don't seem inclined to pivot the core concept. So if you want more of that positive community feel, join that discord as well.
I enjoy both platforms. GWM is still the GOAT for image hosting and personalized recommendations.
