HBCam model online -> model page doesn’t exist

I’m having an issue viewing a model on HBCam. I can see them online in the ad widget here, but when I try to click the link I get a “page not found” error. I can view other models, just not this one. I’m wondering if anyone might know what could cause this. Is it possible I was banned or something similar and this is what that looks like? Im not sure why I would be since I’m pretty new to the site. Appreciate the help!

Either region blocked, or they have blocked you

Thanks for the reply! That’s what I was afraid of. Kinda surprised since I had never sent anything rude or said much at all, but maybe that was the problem. I’ll keep checking back, hopefully I’ll get unblocked one day.

As a side note, you could rule out a region block by using a VPN and setting it to another country (since you can see this model on this site's widget, you'll want to set the VPN region to USA) If you can see her, then it's a region block, so you could cam with her as long as you have the VPN enabled and enough data amount (that's not a problem with a paid VPN, since these have unlimited monthly data, and they're fairly cheap; NordVPN, as an example, costs $5/month) If you still can't see her, then she has blocked you 😬

That’s a good callout! I tried to use opera browser vpn quickly earlier when I saw her online, but still couldn’t access the page. I might have misconfigured something when I tried it out but I’m thinking it’s probably a true block. I might have done a bit too much lurking in free chat and probably annoyed her. Bummer, but hopefully will be reversed one day.

Opera's VPN doesn't allow you to change country, so it doesn't circumvent regional blocks 😁

I remember there was a free VPN that allowed for country changes as an extension for MS Edge called Hola VPN, but last time I tried to install it, it was retired from Microsoft's extension store for being listed as "malware"

I don't think that this issue is solely related to region blocking or models blocking individual users. I am friends with a model who used to be on HBC. She deleted her profile and signed off HBC for good (she got married, and found other employment). I saw that her profile was/is listed an a model who is either in free chat or in a session, once in a while. Usually for 2 or 3 days in a row, and then not shown again for a few weeks.

Just a wild guess, but I would assume HBC has metrics about the models one views and it then adds those profiles to the selection available. Doesn't have to be that these ghost models are shown to other users at the same time they are shown to me, for example.

I spoke to my friend, a few months ago when I first noticed this, but she is now pregnant, and definitely not on HBC. .
