I think a lot of the blacklisted models see the cam girl ads and immediately assume we're a porn site. It stigmatizes webcam performers because not all of them are sex workers, but many of the GWM's who don't cam don't seem to want to be associated with them, which is understandable despite it being a somewhat misinformed take on it.
Well... good point.

I assume some of the women also think this site promotes objectification, which is true to an extent, but it's more about appreciating the hard work they put into crafting incredible physiques.

Have you considered integrating links to each girl's social accounts and websites? I think if these girls saw GWM as a referral network for new fans they wouldn't be so quick to distance themselves from the site.
If the cam girl content wasn't so prominent that might help, but I imagine that is non-negotiable as an important partner for the site. Just a guess. I think many girls would overlook the cam girl stuff if GWM was a consistent referral partner for them, in the same way they overlook all the negative aspects of the platforms they already use.

It's been brought up before. I don't know how difficult or time consuming it would be to integrate, but Chainer is the only one with access to the site's code and therefore the only one who can make those changes.

I don't know the specifics of Chainer's arrangement with Herbiceps. I only know that they've been partnered for a very long time. But in the interest of making the most impact with the least amount of effort, I would suggest removing the occasional nude thumbnail that will pop up from time to time in those ads.

The suggestion to remove nude thumbnails sounds reasonable enough.
A few girls already post their own photos here. Some probably secretly want to see their name at the top of the most subscribed list. So I think some of them already see the value of this site.
The tools on the site are also impressive, with the tagging system being potentially really useful. Say for example, a girl that has prominent calves, knowing how little the average Instagram user cares about calves, could use this site, post their pics, tag them all with the calves tag, and instantly have her pics connected to everyone who subscribes to that tag. Then those users can view her profile and links, which could be in the area as the new stats box. That would give her a good start to growing a following, a begin a virtuous cycle where she likes and even promotes the site.

I agree completely. I think this site needs to give a different and more welcoming vibe for models.

I also agree with this. It’s been tiring to source models, and I think it’d be good to provide links, but in a way that isn’t too intrusive.
I miss Maïa Alleyne, Jada Beverly, Zoe Madison, I think there’s a lot more I could bring up. Sometimes I wish someone could gently ask if they’d be willing to be taken off the blacklist, but I do want to respect their wishes. I think looking into the reasons why women posted here request to be blacklisted can help make this site a lot better.

I mentioned something like this earlier and got some great responses https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/forum/thread/...
On your first point, I don't know how the site could have a more "welcoming" vibe without much more strict moderation to the point of impracticality towards a site like this. No matter how someone spins it as an "inspirational" or "strong women empowering" site, at the end of the day this is a fetish site geared toward men. Regardless of how pure your intentions are, a good chunk of muscular women, while don't minding if someone finds them attractive, absolutely hate being fetishized (if you want to know more about that, read some of the posts on female bodybuilding sites.) If anything, while it sucks that there are women who ask not to be here, fortunately there are still a lot who don't mind.
As to looking into the reasons why women don't want to be on here, I am not sure, if they do disclose that, there would be anything actionable that the site or its users can do. I am willing to bet they mostly fall on two categories: they are either using some outsourced third-party copyright enforcement service where said service lists this place as a copyright violator (even if it's a false positive,) and the models themselves actually don't know that this site was specifically blacklisted (I think that might be the case with Gracie Parker,) or they simply don't want to be on a fetish site and/or only want their content on specific sites. In either case, there isn't much that can be done.
what gatsby28 said........... And.....
Many of the models appearing here are business persons in their own right. They may not even care about GwM. Example is Patty (you know of whom I speak). She has 5.7 million followers on IG. Her YouTube site has 439 videos with 2.74 million subscribers.
I don't know a lot about how these social media sites work. What I do know is that she's likely sitting on a financial gold mine. Plus she's very personable, honest in how she appears to deal with people, and projects a vibe that makes people want to follow her adventures.
Agreed with all the following responses after mine. It’s unfortunate many of the women we love view this site in a negative light, not unfounded but many of us here appreciate them and find muscular women very attractive which isn’t very mainstream at all. Many love the attention on social media but definitely hate the simping, they post workouts and flexing pics & videos and probably don’t wanna be associated with the ones who do camgirl and actual porn.
> > Really sad news. She is one of my favorite up-and-coming athletes...
It’s crazy that she put that on her story.
Yeah thought that too, not use to IFBBs acknowledging this site also I thought about something kinda wild, a little off topic and long but here.
Aleksandra Latsevich claims to be 19 on her Instagram which means she’s Gen Z, I know older IFBBs aren’t dinosaurs and know about the internet and these sites but not during their whole careers obviously and didn’t have to think about them during their peaks, especially the ones from the 1970s-1990s. Has anyone else thought about the idea of female bodybuilders from now on knowing a lot about this fetish from the jump and like most people born from the late 90s onward being online a ton? Like future up and coming IFBBs like Aleksandra will certainly view bodybuilding and fitness stuff online and come across sites like this and either be flattered, neutral or turned off. Shit could you imagine a full circle moment where there’s a teen girl who’s got an account on this site right now, becomes a bodybuilder, posts stuff on Insta, Twitter, YouTube, etc and eventually sees herself posted here?
I think there will be a movement where younger FBBs, fitness models, powerlifters, and crossfit athletes (maybe?) are more influenced by social media and also understand how it can represent their brand both in a good and possibly negative way, and be more open to sites like this where they can dive into more of the fantasy or fetish to reach a broader audience. It's already happening in other places where girls and young women are posting "thirst traps" and seeing this kind of content as not weird but more normalized versions of having an internet persona where it's less serious and more meme-culture generated. You're already seeing the majority of clips featuring the "muscle mommy" or female empowerment stuff as coming from younger content creators and Tiktok especially has been a great platform for promoting this. I believe Gen Z will be leading the way, at least that my hope!
