Are people misusing the Classic tag?

I was roaming through the classics tag when I saw a couple of videos obviously filmed nowadays on a smartphone, but still given the classics tag. Did I misunderstand the tag, or is it being misused and losing its meaning?

I would say most tags on the site are being misused in many images. That's partly why Chainer is developing a new tags system.
