Anybody watch WWE Backlash? Kept up the momentum after how good Wrestlemania was, and the Lyon, France crowd was on fire all night. One of the best crowds I have heard and it kind of brought me back to the Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars days!

I'm in the UK and the wrestling boom here happened in 1992 rather than the '80s and then again in 2000 it was massive. Personally I watched WWF from about 1991/2 until '95 and then lost interest in until late '98 and then watched it from then until Vince bought WCW and haven't really bothered watching since. Saw some of the old school ECW video tapes as well. One of my housemates in my last house is a huge wrestling fan and I would sometimes watch AEW with him.

As far as the GWM in wrestling Lita and Chyna were my favs. A bit after my time in terms of watching it but I also like Mickie James and Becky Lynch

What about the Glamazon (Beth Phoenix)? She had a nice run in the WWE a few years back..

Another musclebound wrestler, who seems kinda forgotten, was 'Asya' (Christi Wolf). I don't think she worked in the WCW too long, but she looked great while she was there. Late '90s, early '00s if I'm remembering correctly.

Chyna and Asya were were in a league of their own, without them ...well we would just not have gotten to this point.

Not sure if this is an appropriate question or not for this website, but which WWE girls past or present do you think could beat up men or at least beat up average guys? Personally I think lots of them could very easily. Some names that come to mind are Chyna, Madusa, Nikki Bella, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Sonya Deville, Trish Stratus

Obviously girls like Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley could too but I don't really find either of them that attractive (just my opinion)

Sonya Deville has an MMA background so she probably could. It's important to remember though that having muscles doesn't mean someone can fight lol

Shayna Baszler has a background in MMA and kickboxing. She can absolutely fuck someone up if she wants to.

On a side note, I always thought it was kind of interesting that they named it TNA Wrestling, just a couple of years after Jerry Lawler used the acronym to mean "tits n ass" during the Attitude era.

That was a Russo idea, and it was a stupid one. Maybe that would've worked in the Attitude Era, but instead it made them look less serious. Russo was a one-trick pony - at best.
