You can admire their physiques ( and I do) but that doesn't in any way mean that bodybuilders SHOULD take steroids. As I said the results steroids produce are spectacular but because of the risks involved I think it's prudent that they SHOULDN'T.
Maybe this will add a little weight to what I'm saying:
"Bodybuilding With Steroids Damages Kidneys
Summary:
Athletes who use anabolic steroids may gain muscle mass and strength, but they can also destroy their kidney function, according to a new article. The findings indicate that the habitual use of steroids has serious harmful effects on the kidneys that were not previously recognized...
The investigators studied a group of 10 bodybuilders who used steroids for many years and developed protein leakage into the urine and severe reductions in kidney function. Kidney tests revealed that nine of the ten bodybuilders developed a condition called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a type of scarring within the kidneys. This disease typically occurs when the kidneys are overworked. The kidney damage in the bodybuilders has similarities to that seen in morbidly obese patients, but appears to be even more severe...
The researchers propose that extreme increases in muscle mass require the kidneys to increase their filtration rate, placing harmful levels of stress on these organs. It's also likely that steroids have direct toxic effects on the kidneys. "Athletes who use anabolic steroids and the doctors caring for them need to be aware of the potentially serious risks to the kidney," said Dr. Herlitz."

So, are you still good in asserting bodybuilders should take steroids? Would you still recommend them to the women featured on this site?
🤦‍♂️
This thread hurts my brain.
> > Just 100 percent wrong, sorry. > > Female bodybuilders take PEDs for themselves. They train for themselves. What men, (or anybody else for that matter) thinks of their appearance has zero influence on their decision. > > Maybe only bodybuilders understand this?
I believe what you are incorrect on is the fact that they are choosing to do so because just like everyone else who is taking it, they are looking for an advantage over everyone else.
Everyone is training for themselves yes, but especially those competing, whether a show or a CrossFit competition, you are using your body against someone else who is using their body. If they are not clean chemically as opposed to someone who is doing it more naturally, and the things they are using are acceptable by their community, then that’s where I’m supportive of it.
Follow the rules basically. Stop trying to cheat.
It doesn’t take a bodybuilder or high performance athlete to understand that.
Wait, what? What are responding to?
You said bodybuilders take PED because men objectify them
And I call that bullshit
That's it. It's not a debate. Ask any bodybuilder.
The truth story is that women that using steroids getting respect from there (hard work) and women that are natural dont get the respect they deserve , and because of that they begin taking steroids to , its just a sick world

True. Women who use steroids are more than likely to get respect from their male peers compare to their natural counterparts. I'm a personal trainer here where I live in Las Vegas that caters only to female clients and I noticed that the ones that I train naturally only get a decent size body with all the training that I provide for them. And plus it's takes longer for them to get to a competitive stage. The ones that are willing to take steroids and HGH do put in the extra hard work but they are more noticeable in terms of body size and everything else. But the time it takes to get to competitive stage is cut in half. To me on a personally level steroids and HGH are the way to go because it's just my preference that I love big bodybuilding women. But at the same time I do admire the natural ones as well.

Just out of curiosity, what's the biggest( starting weight to latest weight) a woman using has become under your tutelage?

Honestly he seems to keep making claims - and i'm startin to doubt em. I mean i'm waiting to see what this amateur show he judged etc in Chicago that offered 2.5k prizes lol. Now he's a trainer in vegas. he goes to russia to get roids? it's all so vague lmao

Ahhh, ok, I'm relatively new here and am not up to speed on the shysters or Walter Mittys on this forum.
In any case, steroids and hgh are a dead end when it comes to person's health and finances. Being big and intimidating and not much else isn't worth the cost in terms of health and money.
Here's what HGH does to people from a leading endocrinologist who has dealt with the wreckage HGH wreaks:
"Patients develop diabetes, heart failure and severe disfigurement of the face, from the development of huge ears, a large nose and protruding jaw and their quality of life is totally miserable."
I think that this will be the last comment I make about this. I’m not looking to win any arguments but simply stating my point in my previous posts.
I was not making the connection of steroid use and men objectifying women for it, as some people have claimed that I have made. That is simply not true and those of you that did read it that way did not read it correctly. I’m talking about women in general being treated like objects by men, regardless of whether they work out or not. I’m guilty of it too and it’s more of a moral issue that our society deals with today, which leads to a lot of the insecurities of people, both men and women experience.
I’m trying to be better about it. I appreciate the work that these women on this site, and off this site are doing to improve their health and want to post pictures and videos, showing their success. It is very unfortunate that women (since this is a site about women) who train and compete in shows, or athletes, or whoever, feel the need that they need to take steroids or PED’s to succeed in their sport, because if they don’t, they won’t be competitive for long. They are having to use those things because they don’t have a choice when it comes to having a career. I’m sure that they are aware of the effects and some don’t care, but they do it anyways. I’m not as well versed in bodybuilding or in supplements, PED’s, or steroids as some others here apparently, but seeing and hearing about people dying early because of the steroid use earlier in their career, or the effects it had on their body after their career is done is just disturbing to me. I’m sure if they could all see what issues they might have in the future after use, some of them might think twice.
I see the problem that sports would has too in tracking drug use. The science seems to be ahead of the curve and no matter what the sports try to do to limit it, there’s always something else that can beat those testing. So I can see for some, keep doing while I can get ahead.
Again, I don’t know much. I’m just providing my opinion of what I see.
"I’m talking about women in general being treated like objects by men, regardless of whether they work out or not."
On a tangential note, I'm surprised no one called you out as a 'white night'.
I don't blame you, sprtguy04. I got fed up with this thread 3 pages ago for merely taking exception to someone else's implication that girls can't build muscle without steroids. The Arbiters of Orthodoxy came out of the woodwork to correct, chastise, and discipline me for daring to disagree...
... the fact is I have known women in my younger days who were wonderfully - in my eyes - muscled and I know for a fact they weren't using anything other than good nutrition and exercise to accomplish it.
They weren't working out to enter competitions... but dayum they looked good... especially the Farrier I knew. (Not too many women became blacksmiths back then and swinging a six pound sledge eight to ten hours a day will give a gal biceps of granite even if they aren't particularly big.)
EDIT Bring on the flamethrowers, kiddies. I'm wearing my asbestos underwear.
Amazing thread, and not in a good way. Mostly missing are the complexities of the harshness of the various compounds, the dosing, the duration, the stacks, the other non-steroidal drugs such as clen, insulin, amphetamines, and diuretics, the continuous health assessment, the diet, the actual exercise, and so on. This is not a binary discussion. Overly simple lead question with many uninformed braindead responses.
Exactly, but again, a lot of those comments are coming from people with no experience in fitness or how those compounds are utilized. Massive difference between someone using just Anavar to someone blasting Tren, Insulin, HGH and using diuretics. No one is saying that using steroids is completely healthy, but again, there are ways to minimize the damage to your body through carefully monitoring your bloodwork and having an appropriate PCT after going through a cycle.
And also, I can’t believe I need to say this, but nobody is saying that women cannot built muscle naturally! Yes, they absolutely can, and there are many examples of women who do. What we are saying, however, is that except in very, very rare cases, they cannot build muscle to the level of what we see featured amongst the women on this site. And even if naturally built women have pics uploaded here, assuming the make the criteria of being muscular enough, they won’t get anywhere near the upvotes and subs of the “enhanced” ladies, and thus will be tucked away in the corner where they will have next to no visibility.
Edit: Also, it is astonishing that we have actual male bodybuilders on this forum who know what they’re talking about because they are around that environment and also have experience with actually using those compounds telling people “hey, this is the reality of your favorite muscular women,” and in response getting comments from schmoes who have very limited, if any, fitness experience saying “yeah no.” Come on guys,
I came across this absolutely amazing clip, and thought that it could be instructive. Like many guys here, I go absolutely weak at the knees when I see a beautiful and muscular Asian woman...
Lee Ji-Hye, this unbelievable cutie here, isn't some enormous juiced-up girl. She's probably on the shorter side, and maybe weighs like 135lb. It's entirely possible for many women to get to her overall size and strength naturally... it would take a while and it would require a very strict dedication to diet and training, but I don't think she's out of the natural realm for most girls with good genetics.
But look at how hard and dry her muscles are. She looks like she's flexing and tensing even when she isn't. See how pronounced her traps and shoulders are. How her abdomen is very lean but also powerful.
This look of being very muscular and lean, but also dry and full -- this is a benefit of steroid use. I won't say that it's impossible to get this way naturally, but it would be unbelievably hard.
This is what bodybuilding is. Conditioning is just as important as muscle size and aesthitics, and even if it's possible to build large muscles, getting to this point of conditioning is somewhere between "hard AF" and "basically impossible."
Anyone who's seriously trained themselves would have encountered this. I was into bodybuilding for 6 years before trying my first cycle. I got pretty huge because I was like a 22yo male with good genetics, but I needed the drugs to have this "popping" physique that made me really look like a bodybuilder.
I am going to ignore 11 pages of commentary and answer the original question.
What someone does with their own body is their choice, as far as I am concerned. Is having big muscles and enhanced strength worth possible permanent, ill side effects? In my mind, no. But it's not my body.
I just wish the average person on the street would realize the fitness industry is a sham. You can workout all you like, and those models can give you all the inspirational quotes in the world, but unless you have gifted genetics, you're not going to look like those fitness models.
Lee Ji-Hye is definitely on something because South Korea loves the bodybuilding industry and also steroids are available at pain clinics to help relieve inflammation, doctor prescribed, and also at some pharmacies. South Korea is the mecca of Asian bodybuilding.

🤦‍♂️
That's it. I'm done with this thread.
LOL.
I remember when Katy Cook was a thing. Despite the fact that a 16 year old girl was bigger than 97% of the guys in the gym, and despite the fact her screen name was "anabolic angel," the simps still thought she was natural
Anabolic angel is an awesome screen name.
🤦‍♂️
That's it. I'm done with this thread.
Dudes. Read my post after the first paragraph. I'm well aware that Lee Ji-Hye is on plenty of gear. And most likely a strong diuretic to prep for this filming.
It's entirely possible for a woman to develop muscles that size naturally. But not to be that muscular, that dry, and that ripped. And not with the usual bulking/cutting and photoshoot schedule like the typical FBB.
She's clearly juicing, but she doesn't look like Amazonka or Andrea Shaw. My point was: you need juice to have that typical bodybuilder look, even if you're not an enormous she-hulk.
This thread is ignorant and dumb. All professional bodybuilders use PED's. If they didn't want to they would go to a natural division. They choose to because they have a passion for the sport, no one is forcing them. Just lock this conversation because its very misguided in nature.

Sadly even "natural" bodybuilders use. As a friend of mine said, when most comps only have a form you fill out to declare you're natural, and in some cases are worded so badly you only have to natural for a couple of years, it's a joke.
Mucle toez.. no its not entirely possible for a woman her height etc to build muscles that size naturally Lmfao. Maybe they can get that size if theyre taller/have a lsrger frame to start..but it'd be with a shit ton of bodyfat comparatively..it sure wont be muscle like her. Just stop..it's embarassing.

The embarrassing thing here is you're unable to read more than a few words. Oh plus, please note that there are 2 "r's" in "embarrassing," and my username is "Muscles_Toez," not "Mucle toez". As I said....
"It's entirely possible for a woman to develop muscles that size naturally. But not to be that muscular, that dry, and that ripped. And not with the usual bulking/cutting and photoshoot schedule like the typical FBB."
So yes, that would most likely include - as you so articulately stated - a "shit ton of bodyfat."
To piggyback off of that there are also many young women who linked up with a coach that put them on a cycle and everyone in the situation ends up looking ignorant because the coach didn't know what they were doing with the dosages they prescribed and the girl ends up burning out, switching coaches because of a really bad experience, or just leaving competing alone altogether
