Is that what it is about? Basking in the glory of you identifying someone? That's quite petty. As we already discussed, penalizing nameless uploads will just result in no uploads at all from those people. And quite frankly sometimes I'm just reluctant to identify lesser known girls, because I don't want the vultures to descend on their social media.
What are you referring to?

The reason I suggested what I did was to address the idea of people uploading pics without names on them. That's what this is about. People get tired of seeing unidentified pictures, and it shows laziness on the part of the uploader, so it incentivizes the full and complete task of the uploader.
I'm sorry if you're the type of person who seeks to "bask in the glory of identifying pictures" and then projects that quality onto others. Troll much?
Some thoughts from my side about Tags: First I agree with chevron:
Tags tend to fall into three main categories, like ... a) Muscle groups: abs, biceps, delts, etc.(including the 'overall physique' catchall for when more muscle groups are displayed than the five-tag limit allows). b) Activities: working out, armwrestling, lift-and-carry etc.(I guess 'body comparison' fits in here as well.) c) Descriptors: athlete, gymnast, bodybuilder, figure-fitness, etc (with 'teen' as an odd-one-out; the 'casual' tag was, IIRC, introduced as a book-end to 'glamour', which latter was dropped.)
I would even divide category c) into two like c1) Model (athlete, gymnast, bodybuilder,...) and c2) clothing (casual, sleeve, bikini,...) Also, sorting/displaying tags in these categories would help user experience, I think.
Second, I think it is not needed to provide a functionality to add and remove tags on an ongoing basis. If you think in these categories, you can easily identify some missing tags. Then one could make a voting on new tags as a one-off and review it in a year or so.
I think like this, moderation effort would minimal and I think it is key to keep number of tags as low as possible but as high as needed.
You brought up giving credit to the white knight who finally identifies a picture. Don't try to act as if you want that on someone else's behalf. The fact that you were so riled up that you felt the need to attack me in PM, proves that I hit the spot. It only hurts if it's true.
LOL. You need a lot of help...
Add an unveiling tag - for people lifting up their shirts to reveal their abs or people taking of their jacket to show their biceps etc
You know this thread is about designing a system, not suggesting new tags...
Maybe take a look at the german image board pr0gramm .com . They solved this with completely free-to-type tags but the community can up- or downvote the tags and only tags that score positive are searchable. Combined with a system of suggestions of common tags, this could be a very fun and dynamic solution for the community while also maintaining consistence.
The implications that this system would take on the technical (specificially database) level is however another thing. Also moderating tags would add to this.
So maybe only a set of allowed tags that can be voted for on a central page (thus easier to moderate) and only these tags can later be used on pictures (and voted for)?
Could we get a caption tag. you know the picture that have some text on it. I just love the witty tags these strong muscular women put on their picture and it would help to find some more.

As I see it there are 2 possible options for letting anybody create a tag. 1. Everyone creates a tag but it gets in to the tagging system after x pics get that tag, that way it won't get too specific. 2. Everyone can suggest a tag, weekly, and the whole registered community can vote for it, the best will win and it will get in to the tags. The winner will also need to pass a certain criteria the managers will decide so there won't be a winner tag with 3 likes or something like that. A little bit like the gotw.

#1 only requires mild persistence from troll users to screw it up. #2 sounds like a decent idea, although it ultimately comes down to what Chainer thinks.
Following on from another thread, the tag 'Teens' should be changed to something a little more appropriate in my opinion. Whilst I have labelled a few of my uploads as teen, they're more like 20-25 year olds/upcoming fbbs seeing as i'm a 23 year old and appreciate girls of my age. It was also mentioned that it seemed slightly creepy that older men liked to imagine young looking fitness girls as teens rather than their actual age. Unfortunately, I can't think of any other terms that can categorise fbbs from the ages of 18-25 except 'young' or 'upcoming fbbs' which is either vague or still too creepy.
There is nothing creepy about young muscular women, I don't know why do you think that it is creepy. So if you are 24 you are only allowed to look at pics of those who are 24 or above? WTF?
If you are afraid that you can't control your own attraction to teens then don't look at them. No need to ban the tag just because of your fears. And certainly no need to be the morality police.
I agree with M76 here. The "teens" tag serves to label women who are on the younger side (still >18) and in practice gets used for women in their early 20s as well, which is fine. If the tag bothers you because it makes you think of older men looking at younger women, then that's a you problem, not an everybody else problem.
As I said, i've used the 'teens' tag and don't mind continuing to use the 'teens' tag, but seeing as hardly any pictures on here are teens (only a few girls ranging from 18-19), it seems a little irrelevant to me. I also didn't say there was anything wrong with liking younger fitness girls i'm just saying that this site is considered by many users to be a porn site and having a 'teen' tag doesn't really apply to that many models, it's also a weird tag to have on such a site. Having said that, seeing as so many posts are labelled 'teen' it would be an effort to go back and change them all to a new tag. I guess i'm contradicting myself a little here, but the tag name seems pretty weird to me. Sorry if I offended anyone, I was just making a suggestion. No need to start attacking.
