Though there is probably some way to circumvent their limitations. Usually this isn't very hard to do for pictures. How hard it is for videos depends on how clever they were in obfuscating them.
A program called Orbit downloader will snatch just about any video file. Download the program. Go into tools and click on the "grab++" tab. A popup window will display a list of all video files that load to your computer when you open a page with video content and click play on the video. Choose the ones you want from the list and download.
Remember you always have to have both orbit and grab++ started and running before you open a video or it won't list.
As for the photos you might have to nick them one by one as screen captures. Download ifranview and go into Options. Click Capture/screenshot and follow the directions. Remember that capture will only grab a copy of what you can see on the screen, not the entire photo if it's too big to fit. Sometimes I just center the screen on the part I want most(the girl) and settle for that. You can also take multiples and stitch them back together again.
