1° Wouldn't it be good to have a direct link to a empty page (without the most recent images displayed) to access to the searching function? It would be faster, both on user and server sides.
2° Wouldn't it be convenient to be able to do an "advanced search" without Javascript enabled? Usually I disable Javascript as much as I can (everywhere).
3° At least, could we search again easily in the comments without Javascript?
1. No, it would create a redundant page with little benefit.
2. I've made a design decision that javascript is pretty much required for the site to work correctly. It would be possible to put more effort into making the site as functional as possible without javascript, but the small benefit gained is not worth the extra development time.
3. I'm not sure what you mean by "search in the comments", but as for the javascript aspect, see above.
