People can say they think Asian girls are the most beautiful or they only want to date African girls, but if the subject is changed to white girls, they will immediately be accused of racism. This is the hypocrisy of liberals. Many liberals think they pursue morality, but what they really pursue is the moral superiority when criticizing others
My last vote was for Obama in 2012. This is exactly why I voted for Trump this time. The left HATES people like me. Others have realized the same, and voted accordingly.
Trump continues to move the Republican party further left, yet Democrats hate it and Republicans love it. Odd times.
Trump is quite right-wing on political and cultural issues, but a little left-wing on economic issues compared to traditional Republicans. This is because he has a large number of workers and rural voters who prefer left-wing economic policies.
However, whether it is tax cuts for the rich or anti-union, Trump is far from the traditional left.
One of the benefits of being a racist, homophobe, xenophobe etc., in this day and age is that it allows for you to speak truthfully about what's on your mind. I'd rather revel in the satisfaction of that than I would the humiliation of saying nothing when Big Mike, The Emperor's wife, swings on by in his birthday suit.

I only read this thread to see if there were any sane comments. Thank you. What's funny is that Trump is actually a moderate deal-maker, and it is not very hard to point out examples. Yet the media-driven TDS is so strong the old "occupy" folk are supporting the very people they say claim are ruining their lives.
Politico is hardly a right wing, Pro Trump news source, but give this article a read and listen to their bleating on behalf of the billionaire class.
And if you won't read the whole thing, these paragraphs give you the jist.
"Vance has consistently bashed big business, expressed antipathy toward corporate merger activities, sided with labor and emphasized his support for costly tariffs. He’s spoken favorably of the Biden administration’s Federal Trade Commission chair, Lina Khan, who is universally viewed as a thorn in the side of major businesses, and forged unlikely alliances with progressives including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
With Vance by Trump’s side, some corporate leaders worry a second Trump administration would be even more hostile to their interests than the first was. While he would have little agenda-setting power of his own, Vance would likely reinforce Trump on key economic issues — trade policy, labor issues, market power —"
I find it fascinating that a left-leaning source like Politico points out these truths, but does it with sympathy towards multinational, race to bottom "fat cats". TDS is so strong that even when left-sympathetic people have an opportunity to actually score on the field, they will side with the "status-quo" military industrial complex.

Speaking the truth truly does set you free, even when it costs you everything.
Politics aside it's clear Kamala ran one of the worst campaigns in modern memory, and Trump ran one of the most tireless, relentless, and at many times, the smartest. Those gimmicks in the closing weeks with McDonalds and the dump truck were masterful. JD Vance crushed every hostile interview he was thrown (cheerily) into. The return rally to Pennsylvania on the same stage he was shot and Trump beginning with "As I was saying!" was hysterical, and the courage he showed after being shot in that very moment was more than I'd expect from anyone period, let alone a New York billionaire.
Hate him all you want but he had the 80% disfavorable media coverage to overcome, huge politically motivated lawsuits, two assassination attempts, they tried to even pull him off the ballot in multiple states... The odds were massively against him and he still pulled it off. I am stunned at his success.
If you're a democrat the right questions you should be asking yourself today is why does your party leadership choose your candidates for you. You should've had your own choice of candidate after Biden dropped out. Maybe that would have prevented this utter bloodbath.

Well, that's simply not how things work. The people who would accuse you of racism, over that, aren't going to suddenly change their views just because Trump was elected. That doesn't make any sense.
Secondly, the Trump campaign is/was obsessed with race. Identity politics aren't going away.
Trump didn't start identity politics, so he's not obligated to attempt to end it. Chickens coming home to roost as they say.

That was spoken beautifully for the simple fact that it was spoken truthfully. And as much as the truth sometimes hurts it is still a beautiful thing.
The only thing that comforts me is that Trump will cancel meaningless identity politics such as race, gender, LGBT, etc. I don't want to be accused of racism just because I want to see girls of a certain race anymore.

Well, maybe Trump won't persecute liberals, start a world war, or destroy democracy in the next four years.
But when people regard not going crazy as an expectation or advantage of a president, it's already crazy.

Wow, what a creepy tale! Heartbreaking, but a real cautionary-tale. Leave abusers as soon as you can & do it safely. If she had succeeded in her plan though, she would have gone to prison. Its horrible that she died, he was a disgusting ghoul, she should have just left him once he left for work! Eerie sequence though, having her 'return' & get revenge.....& then we see her ghost visiting her home sadly.
Oh my God, I feel so retarded. I gave y'all the wrong short film! Gaaahhh >_<
No wonder I was so lost, thinking to myself, "What is this lady talking about???"
Now, I don't know if you're reading this or have already read it but, HERE is the correct film. The super creepy one I was thinking about.

Does anyone know about a weird old horror movie from 1989 I think. were there was one scene were a guy gets tired up and blindfolded by his wife for a bdsm session. but then she gets distracted by something and a ghost possesses a barbie doll and she molests him. at first he thinks it's his wife for some reason but when he realized what was going on he gets killed by a magical force. I remember almost nothing about this movie.
Honestly, I didn't expect this at all. I'm a fairly liberal guy in a very liberal social bubble, we were all pretty confident Kamala would win with an extremely tight lead. Turns out she's performing worse than Hilary and may even lose the popular vote.
It's way too early to confidently attribute her poor performance to any single factor, but culture war issues (DEI, gender stuff, Harris' own race and gender) and the general divide between college-educated, stuffy urbanites like myself and the working class probably played a big part (similar to 2016). But I've been wrong about basically everything tonight, so my analysis is probably wrong... maybe voters really did care mainly about inflation and immigration.
All I know is Trump has a Republican trifecta and he's about to run the country into the ground. The only silver lining is that he'll likely strengthen support of Israel, which would be a huge deal for me. The Progressive hatred of Israel and its flirtation with antisemitism has really alienated me and contributed to my shift back towards the center.
Trump will have secured and tallied the necessary 270 electoral votes to become the next POTUS before the sun rises Wednesday morning on the East Coast. The final tally most likely won't be known until several days later because the people that run the shows in the blue states need more time to surreptitiously count because that's the only way they know how to come up with enough votes to win. That, and fentanyl is cheap and abundant in all democrat run urban shitholes thanks to our wide open Southern Border. All that and they tend to have very weak math skills due to their 'common core' approach. Remember, these are the same people who SPENT an additional $1,750,000,000,000 above and beyond what was appropriated for the budget TO CURB INFLATION. This time around, however, it won't be as painful for the rest of us to have to watch them go at their own pace because the slacker States results won't make any difference. There will have already been enough results from States that have their shit together to declare Trump as the winner. Trump can win WITHOUT Pennsylvania. Harris CANNOT!.
Tell me again how I don't know what I'm talking about. This was so easy to see for anyone that was looking for the truth. GOD BLESSED AMERICA TODAY.
Thanks mostly everyone for staying civil, I skimmed this thread (I hadn't been reading it; was busy) and the only ban so far is for "ARE YOU THIS FUCKING STUPID???????".

To be clear I'm fine with stuff like "I'm [glad/upset] that [Trump/Harris] [won/lost]" just not "we sure showed you fuckers, take that 🖕🖕🖕"
I don’t know what’s getting ready to happen all I know is that I did my best and I love all of you no matter who you are. Pray for America 🇺🇸
