Until a fix is implemented, this is always going to be a problem. "blue_j88" is being treated the same as someone with just a first name, like "Alice." So the only way around that is to give her a second part to her name. Since I don't know what her name is, I'm just going to rename her images to "Blue (blue_j88)."
Looking at the comments on a picture, I do believe that SHE requested to be listed under her IG name here (which used to be blue_j88. Now Thighsenburg)
I do often see pictures where the name is "locked". I would think that's a great way to prevent this from happening as well, but I don't know how work intensive that is for mods, and what the requirements for locked names are...
Either I'm crazy, or the same thing is happening with Blue_j88 at the moment...

At the time the image was pinned, it was under the name "Flores Neide Campos," which sets it apart from the other images of just "Flores Neide." Someone else changed the name back later. It's kind of an exploit, and you'll know who is doing it based on the uploader pinning their own images constantly, with a slightly different name in place each time (like if they changed Anastasia Leonova to "Anastasia Leonorva"), or sometimes they delete the name altogether.

Does anyone else enjoy finding older unnamed images of women who are prominent? I just pinned one of Jennifer Adkisson from years ago that was unnamed. Cool feature.
Flores Campos has 6 pages of pics but how was she pinned under “hidden gems”?

Yeah I made the suggestion of putting tempp in a separate waitlist, still waiting to hear back on that.
Good Suggestion! What about suggesting that he puts the model's name on all his uploads?
If you look at the source names of his uploads, he usually changes that to the woman's first name. So he know's who the girl is!!
Sometimes he uploads a slew of one girl and puts a full name on one and then leaves the rest blank or with only a first name or some combination of that. He obviously, doesn't give a shit about the images he uploads being them ever being found again and seems to be just concerned with the numbers he uploads. He doesn't favorite photos, or communicate or dialog with anyone and given time, most of his uploads would be uploaded by someone else on the site and probably those photos would most be given a name by someone else. I've uploaded a few photos on the site myself it's very easy to do, at least the way us mortals who can't just dump pics on the site have to do it. What is his use other than dumping image onto the site? you've got a bunch of people contributing to the site the right way, do we still need to give this guy special treatment to upload basically at will and tie the system up for everyone else??
Here's and example of the the time I waste because of him.... Before I upload any pictures I do a quick scan of what's already been uploaded of the model. When I don't see it's been uploaded I go ahead and upload. There have been 100's of times Chainer's great system has caught duplicates and 9 times out of 10, it's because the picture wasn't labeled. And 9 out of 10 of those it's a pic that tempp already had uploaded, but I missed because he didn't label it.
As of right now there are 637 images in the waitlist, over 150 belong to one member who gets unlimited upload.
And now everyone else is on standby waiting for who knows how long until his gets through the waitlist.
At least maybe someone can make him put first and last names on all his pics. This might slow down the number of dumps he makes per week and actually let other people participate on the site.
I've got 20 pics in the queue that haven't even made it to the waitlist. It's a wonder I have as many uploads as I do.
Update I was wrong, he's got way more than 150 on the waitlist. In fact the overwhelming majority (which means a few hundred) of pictures on the waitlist belong to 1 member.
Don't know if that the correct place for it but I just want to say that I LOVE this feature!
The results got better with every improvement on the algorithm and now it works like a charm. Really great work!
An image is eligible if it meets the following conditions:
Has a score of 50 or less
Is at least a week old
The model in the picture has no more than 25 images on the site (or if there is no name set)
It seems this also includes images that only have a first name. An example is "Maryon" who has 3 pages (200+ images) of content on the site, yet several of her images can still be pinned.
I've a question about how the Advanced Search and Hidden Gems features interact. If I go to Advanced Search and select "Hidden Gems", "Images", and sort by "High Score (All Time)", the top search results show scores of over 200 votes, way over the 50-vote threshold to be a "Hidden Gem".
Is this a bug, or am I missing something, subtle or obvious?
When you search "Hidden Gems" it is displaying every image that has been previously pinned by other users. Yes, some of these images have gone on to get scores as high as 200, much to the credit of users pinning them (while they still had a score below 50). There isn't really a filter in place right now that could easily pick out something for you to pin, you just need to be aware of the pinning eligibility criteria and the blue button will appear on images that qualify.

Just wanted to say thanks for adding this feature. I love it.
It's interesting to see the images that it pushes. For some reason I get a lot of images that focus on abs, but I don't feel like I have a strong abs bias.
Something like that. Or perhaps a permanent limit. If an image was pinned 5 times and still didn't get beyond 50 points it should no longer be eligible for pinning.
Right, because it's not like the site regularly gets new users who might end up liking a previously pinned image.
How about celebrities muscle is that coming back

deleted because I'm an idiot :)
It might have been an unnamed pic that received its name AFTER it was pinned to "hidden gems."

Not sure why the site wouldn't allow more than 1 or 2 a day. Seems it should be 10 or so and if it's abused with junk, you can just ban that member.

As a workaround, I batch renamed her from "Maryon" to "Maryon (kim_hale_fitness)," which seems to work.
It does for now but I'll fix that soon.

I completely misunderstood the point of the "hidden gems" button. Thanks for the explanation.

Some "gems" deserve to stay hidden.
Such rules can have unintended consequences. Seems a bit heavy handed for something that is supposed to be fun.
What is the purpose of pinning the image?
I think it is to expose the image to "new eyes" who may have not noticed or appreciated it before.
How does the image pinner know if the image is appreciated? It will get more points.
I can only assume if the image fails to get more points after a few postings, the pinner will give up. So why the rules?
M76 offered:
Right, because it's not like the site regularly gets new users who might end up liking a previously pinned image.
Punish the obsessive pinner, not the image
