> Your question reminds me of the whole "violent crime in video games causes violent crime in the real world" argument. Very simply put, it doesn't. That's been debunked.
Can you provide us with an article or paper which supports your claim Phenoms. From what I have found so far, the exact opposite to your claim appears to be the current concensus.
I didn't provide citations because I figured it was already common knowledge to the zeitgeist. But you asked a reasonable question, and I strongly believe in the merits of always being prepared to backup one's claims with credible citations...

Yes. Maria Diaz’s body is just as good as Jessica’s. Nicole Zenobia Graham and Bojana are also amazing. I think all 4 of them should be in the top five. Cygnet Gillon is great but I don’t understand how she wins so much. Those other girls have better figures than her.
Indeed, they display bulkier, harder physiques than Cydney's which is in itself well-balanced. Same for Lola Montez or the Linhartova sisters. Not to disparage Cydney - she seems to be all-around genuine person - but she kind of represents the pretty face of Pro Figure - in other words she's the current Cory Everson of Figure while her competitors are the Bev Francises.
However, I think it may be Jessica's best shot at the title yet.

Gotta agree with you 150% here mate. Sorry 200%. Just coming back from a NPC Worldwide/IFBB pro show in London and I have still stars in my eyes after witnessing the Pro Wellness class. My excitation and the adrenaline rush I got from the spectacle hasn't come down yet several hours after it had happened. I may have attended several shows in the past here in the UK, most of them international ones, but I wasn't prepared for this.
This is the winner of today's show and she qualified for the O. Not sure if she's blacklisted or not even on the site but the above shot doesn't start to actually depict how her legs were fucking huge. They were a very good match for Anna Mrozowska's, whom she beat. I think you get the picture.
This is a personal shot of her I took with an old Sony Nex-6 camera that I dusted off recently, but I was too far away from the scene as the quality of it shows.
Several encounters with FBBs had gotten me 'underwhelmed' in terms of how massive they would appear, this is a bit of exaggeration but many decades of seeing pictures and videos of both male and female competitors made me a bit blasé because of years of daily exposition to those. I remember seeing Jay Cutler, Guenter Schliefkampf in flesh in Germany ten years ago; crossing paths with Iris Kyle or Irene Andersen in the past two years. People whom, under any circumstances, you would call tiny. But still, the awe wasn't there.
After the show, today's winner started strutting her stuff in the middle of the food court of the ExCel Centre and got the attention of anyone who was sitting around there, including mine. Dead silence within a split second. I'm loath to use superlatives like many schmoes but the fact her leg size would hamper her walk was worth a thousand words. I think not. What do you other guys think?
It's pretty simple. This site isn't just about who has the biggest muscles. Popularity is really about the total package (for most of us). There aren't many women that score as high in every area as Slava does. She's gorgeous, as in model-level looks. She's completely feminine, yet quite muscular. She's 5-ft-9 when 75-80% of the girls on this site are probably 5-ft-5 or under. She's not perfect, but she's a lot closer than most. She's also not a schmoe hater and has a lovely personality and happily indulges many of our fantasies. I mean, what more do you want?
I love reading true stories. I have quite some posted in my name in different threads.
My wife is sleeper built, especially arms and delts. (See poster pics in under my name)
Last night we where at a family gathering with her family. A second cousin to our children was there. We had not met that family for years. He had just turned 18 and was all into building strength and feeling ”manly”. Flexing for some of the younger boys and girls.
As we where about to get the buffé I noticed that my wife was about to tease him a little. She had a t-shirt with sleeves ending just over the mid off her upper arm. Not wide just 1.5-2.5 cm (1/2-1”) bigger than her arm. (I saw/understod what was coming. And I love it)
She was in front off him holding her plate in her left hand with the arm in 90’. As she put some food on the plate she tensed her bicep more and more. It is 26 cm unflexed and she has this ability to gradually increase her size and flex. It quickly filled the sleeve. And soon started to stretch the fabric. Fully flexed it is 30 cm of totaly rockhard bicep. Now it was maybe half flexed.
I saw that he saw it and that he tried not to stare. His mom was next to them and she also saw it and she on the other hand commented; wow look at that arm, Fredrik look at her arm, She Said and put her fingers around the bicep. Oh my thats hard, She said. You should ask her for training tips. He tried to be casual about it as if he had not noticed it.
My wife said; thanks. Yes I got some. Especially when I flex and after I lifted.
At this point She did not tense it more than this half flex.
We sat down at the same table as them and his girlfriend, his father and younger sister.
His mom still talked about the muscle and asked how long and often my wife lifted. She told her that She just started again after a break (She had surgery) but that she 10 years ago was realy fit. Now she aims for strength, firmness and endurance. The shape is just a bonus.
By now the girlfriend got curious. She had not seen any muscle and relaxed my wife just look slim and a little toned.
So you lift weights She asks? Fredrik does too. Are you strong? Got muscles? She asked as she felt the arm. My wife tensed without realy bending just 25-30’ but this makes the arm totaly fill out the sleeve and go hard as stone.
The girlfriend got realy surpriced and you could realy tell She did not expect that. (I knew what was coming and could not wait)
Fredrik feel that She said. It is so hard. Much harder than Yours.
He still tried to be casual about it and just poked it a little. Well quite hard he said. Not to bad. His girlfriend asked him to flex and felt his rather big bicep. She said bigger but not realy as hard. (This was the perfect cue)
Show them how it looks flexed I said. My wife said that She don’t think sha can because the sleeve is to tight. She started to flex and but had to stop since her peak just streched the fabric too much.
She rolled up the sleeve and did a full flex. 12” rock hard peaked bicep at her slim frame looks big. They all felt it and the gf and little sister started to tease Fredrik that he had nothing compared to my wife.
He blushed and you could tell he got insecure.
I love when She does this. It makes going to bed together those nights so good. I get to feel her strength and hard muscles even more after happenings like this.

There hasn't been a study on it yet [testosterone "microdosing"] because it's still so difficult to test even with the most sophisticated methods, although there have been a few studies and some have already done investigative papers on it. It's common among the youngsters, especially women because even a small amount is a big competitive advantage, with men not so much but it can still give the edge if one is already gifted.
Some sports have weight classes, but I've never heard of testosterone level categories, so natural or genetic variations are acceptable, and having an inherently high level within the normal range isn't either illegal or cheating. I suppose one could argue that "microdosing" to get to the two-sigma level that would be around the 97.5 percentile in a normal distribution wouldn't be unfair or "cheating," although it rules out those without access to the supplement. I wonder, however, how it has been determined that it's "common among youngsters, especially women." It seems that it would be easy to go"too far" and that women doing that could be detected. Maybe they are, but I don't recall anyone being banned or losing a medal because of it. I don't think that's what the doctrine here that 100% of Olympic athletes, Crossfit participants, and "fitness influencers" ore "juicing."
Sixty years ago, there were complaints about men from the Soviet bloc posing as men, such as the Press "sisters." They retired when chromosome testing was introduced to determine gender in 1966. Any cells will do to determine who has two X chromosomes and who has an X and a Y (or some other combination, such as XXY; there was speculation that the Presses might have been in that category), and I think the initial tests were scrapings from inside each contestant's check. That can't be avoided by "cycling."
Idk from my understanding the two weren’t on gray terms for a while. He did a little bit on sunny photoshopping her stage photos and possibly butt injections but did do a bit about her ex harassing her. Don’t really know what came of that
Dunno that much either, just came to my mind since at some point she became that popular to be everywhere on IG, butt (ops) equally something was kinda strange to my eyes, her butt in particular... Not a big deal but it cames to my mind right now since you named Marissa and had no doubt this guy would have been finding something wrong with Sunny lol

i don't think this is his only "mess up". Maybe one or tow more. I think the majority of the posts he ended up removing where when people came forward, apologized, righted their wrongs, and promised to do better (except for one guy who was stealing money for meal plans who went back to doing that).
Heck, Marissa Andrews was one of them and now shes a frequent commentor on his posts.
Did that guy ever spotted Sunny Andrews? I'm guessing she's Marissa's sister, right?
Gladiators star Bernadette Hunt has died at age 59, it has been announced.
Hunt took on the persona of Falcon in the hit Nineties series, which saw everyday contestants battling against a “Gladiator” in a series of physical challenges, in front of an arena audience.
Falcon first appeared on the programme in season two in 1993, and was a regular cast member until her departure in 1999.
In a Facebook post from Hunt’s sister’s partner, Rick Jango, Hunt was revealed to have died after living with cancer for several years.
“It is with great sadness that I have to tell you of my partner's younger sister, Bernadette Hunt,” the post begins.
“Most people will remember her as ‘Falcon’ from the hit TV Show Gladiators.
“I had the privilege to be in her company a few times and I have to say she was one of the most loveliest people I have ever met.”
The announcement continues with a tribute to her friendly and positive demeanour.
“She never had a bad word to say about anyone, indeed she was always known as the nicest ‘Gladiator’, always stopping to speak and sign autographs for anyone.
“She had been battling cancer for a number of years until sadly she lost her fight. RIP Bernie.”
I think "better" is a pretty subjective statement. I think muscular women today look just as good as their counterparts from the 80s, but the main difference is that there is more of a "variety" of muscular women. In the 80s, you had female bodybuilding and I think fitness (I could be wrong, though. don't know when that started), but that was it. Divisions like figure, bikini and physique didn't come until later. Plus, that's only taking into account women who actually compete. I can think of muscular women who only did a couple competitions, or sometimes none at all, and instead prefer to use their physique to promote themselves as a fitness influencer or in fetish work (which makes sense, as you'll make more money that way than you would in actual competitions.)
Plus, you also have to take into account "Survivorship Bias," along with the tendency to look at the past with fondness (the definition of nostalgia.) Today, with how accessible social media and the internet is, you can have some visibility (even if it's not much) to show your physique. Back in the 80s, not so much. We know who the big names in female bodybuilding were back then like Carla Dunlap, Cory Everson and Bev Francis because of the fact that their success gave them visibility and legacy. None of us, except maybe the most diehard of diehard schmoes or fans, know who placed in the bottom tiers of those competitions, or in your average NPC show. It's kind of like how some literary fans claim that writing was better back in the day as evidenced by writers like Dickens, Hawthorne, The Bronte sisters and Austen, without realizing that there also was a lot of shitty writing back then, but no one knows about it because those works didn't survive.
So I think it has nothing to do with diet, supplements or any of the like. It has everything to do with perception, nostalgia and survivorship bias. I like looking at retro bodybuilders, but I also think competitors (at that level) today have just as much muscularity and conditioning (if not more) than them.

"Yea having multiple fbbs in one video would be nice i like to see feats of strength instead of just flexing. i don't think there is enough of that. destroy some trash objects like broken computers bicycles screens chairs and so on. i like it when they use their thighs to crush things .but other methods are nice too like ripping bending kicking stomping.
if there are multiple fbbs. let them work together to push around extremely heavy things they can't do alone. I don't think i have ever seen a video like that."
I think your idea works. And because of how available all the material is now, PLUS our own individual tastes and attitudes about women's bodybuilding, everyone of those videos would be pretty diverse. Plenty of that would be entertaining for me.
I have a suggestion for everyone here who hasn't really checked it out yet. I'm guessing there have to be fans from my generation: high-school age when Cory was Ms Olympia and followed that initial timeline of Cory-Lenda-Kim, and smack dab in the middle of the 23 year run of Women's Physique World magazines and all the videos and merch they hawked. EVERYONE on this site at least knows what it is because of how many of those covers and Back Pages are here.
It'll look old fashioned to some of you, and a lot of it is more cringeworthy than it deserves to be. But the depth of field and the beauty of those women is the reason we have what we have now. We have it all now, and that's great. But WPW will be a revelation to anyone who's never looked into it yet or was around for it in the prime of that initial scene. I still like it more than today's scene because I'm a comic nerd and the women who ran the bodybuilding scene from about 1987 to 2005-6 looked like the women that Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo made the stars of some of their best art. All sorts of gym sessions, posing 20 minutes at a time, from as many places around the world as there were women putting on muscles and hitting the stages. And the interviews. A lot of those women, were ambitious, intelligent, educated, etc. And a lot of them looked like famous entertainers and pop culture people of the day (raise your hand if you ever wondered if Sandy Riddell's mother was Candice Bergen?? Or if Cory was Jessica Lange's twin sister?).
Believe me, youtv, it may not be watermelon crushing ands ripping shirts (it's amazing, watching gorgeous women break stuff with their bodies), but there's TONS of good-ol-fashioned ass-kicking in the gym. Lots of powerful women, other who lift and get those muscles perfect, all of it.

I mean, she's a very pretty girl to be sure, but do her decent but not spectacular muscles deserve such constant coverage here?
I think not. What do you other guys think?
i wish she was my GF.
at the moment she's putting up the best free content and previews avail, other than someone like Angie Yeo, but Slava appeals to a way broader range of fans. She's smoking hot, has a killer physique, a great personality for fans, and cares enough to put stuff out very often. as a fan, she's one of the unicorns that pops up from time to time in terms of interaction, acessibility, content quality, and the tangibles.
there are others i wonder why aren't getting the kindo f attention that are newcomers. Alyssa Perez is one of them, though like alot of Gen Z she does not put out content for our kind of fan, but it's good nonetheless.

No, you are not alone - you and your burner account are of like mind here. 😁
But as a general rule in life, the highest-rated of anything will tend to get the most coverage in that sphere, because that's what the consumers want. That's the way mostly free markets are supposed to work. We, the consumers, choose what we watch.

Woooow man, I love that
I love reading true stories.
And I love it) She was in front off him holding her plate in her left hand with the arm in 90’.
(I knew what was coming and could not wait) Fredrik feel that She said. It is so hard. Much harder than Yours. He still tried to be casual about it and just poked it a little. Well quite hard he said. Not to bad. His girlfriend asked him to flex and felt his rather big bicep. She said bigger but not realy as hard. (This was the perfect cue) Show them how it looks flexed I said.
I think they’re sisters?
Idk from my understanding the two weren’t on gray terms for a while. He did a little bit on sunny photoshopping her stage photos and possibly butt injections but did do a bit about her ex harassing her. Don’t really know what came of that
Did that guy ever spotted Sunny Andrews?
By yotv "Yea having multiple fbbs in one video would be nice i like to see feats of strength instead of just flexing. i don't think there is enough of that. destroy some trash objects like broken computers bicycles screens chairs and so on. i like it when they use their thighs to crush things .but other methods are nice too like ripping bending kicking stomping.
if there are multiple fbbs. let them work together to push around extremely heavy things they can't do alone.
Lots of powerful women, other who lift and get those muscles perfect, all of it.
i wish she was my GF.
at the moment she's putting up the best free content and previews avail, other than someone like Angie Yeo, but Slava appeals to a way broader range of fans.
Alyssa Perez is one of them, though like alot of Gen Z she does not put out content for our kind of fan, but it's good nonetheless.
today it's slava, next year may be someone else.
