I am not sure i was always attracted to strong women whenever i saw a movie or comic with women being strong i felt some attraction i associated women with power i remember seeing xenia onnatop in golden eye i was obsessed with her when i got internet for myself the first thing i looked up was bodysicssors and i found a lot of super sexy stuff.
Also i remember having a teacher who was not really muscular but had huge calves i really liked them i noticed athletic women had legs similar to her but even better so all these things combined caused me to get into muscular women.
Do you ever look at a musclegirl and immediately wish that she were cast in a certain character on screen? As Wonder Woman, She-Hulk, Lara Croft, Harley Quinn or Poison Ivy - you name it. I know we have seen a lot of cosplay on this, but not all seem equally memorable. Who are your 'dream-cast' musclegirls in famous movie roles? I am naming a few of my own:
I don't think anyone has mentioned Elisabeth Shue. I've loved her look ever since the movie "Cocktail" in 1988. Elisabeth has some good pictures here on GwM.
i saw ''getting physical'' on tv then. Alexandra Paul was excellent looking.they did lift some weights i seem to recall. but neither was near the rachel mclish/carla dunlap/lisa lyon etc form of the day.alexandra was also in a jeff bridges movie''8 Million Ways to Die'' with full frontal nudity.[great] im going to try to find ''getting physical'' somewhere again.
never saw sheena..it was reaganomics trickle down..which meant jobs were tough to find..so i didnt go to the movies in 84..not 1 theater ticket at all.....''if you go to work and your names on the building[your rich] if your names on your desk[your middleclass]...if you go to work and your names on your shirt, your poor'' -rich hall also your lucky to have a job as opposed to some...anyway i digress.Sandahl Bergman was sort of muscular[but in shape] in conan and interesting fact she turned down the lead role in red sonja to play the villianess. im sorry halfkorean for your movie debacle there..best wishes to you.
She was also in "Getting Physical" with Alexandra Paul. Both were supposed to be bodybuilding competitors but what they really did was aerobics and dance. Virtually no muscle. It wasn't until a decade later that Paul put on some real muscle. Too bad her career tanked.

i recently saw tanya in a 1978 movie called''california dreaming'' it wasn't that good a movie for the time...but its a time capsule. Glynnis O'Connor was also in it topless.tanya was not nude but pretty and in a swimsuit a few times.best wishes Nytrytr777 and i hope the covid does not effect your personal life.
Yes It's about a bodybuilder about to make it big at a major contest and get a major sponser when her ex-husband shows up with her boy and tries to get her back by leaving her son with her for a while so they can bond.
That sounds horrible. Why couldn't they make a movie about an FBB who defends the world from zombies or aliens?
I mostly knew Tanya from Charlie's Angels, Sheena, and View to a Kill (Bond movie). She had many other movie and tv parts, but those are the ones I recall. Beautiful woman and good actress. May she rest in peace.
yeah tanya's death was from urinary tract infection that entered her organs and bloodstream, leading to a blood infection made worse due to Roberts's history of hepatitis C[according to wiki]...i also believe covid set it all off. when i saw her nude in beastmaster 1982 at the theater..i was glad i hadn't chosen any of the other movies in the multi theater.
The fact that people have a muscle fetish is pretty much the only thing that's allowing the sport to carry on so if anything you should be thankful.
Portrayals of muscular women in mainstream culture(think Jayne Trcka as Ms. Mann in Scary Movie, Faith Minton in Cheech and Chong's Next Movie, or Kris Murrell's cameo in Grown Ups 2) are often less than kind. In spite of all that, a lot of guys and gals still come away with a strong positive impression and desire for them.
I think those of us who work in media should make an effort to feature the women we like in a way that is fully human and not just based on fetishes or a joke. If the fat acceptance people can make headway, so can we.
I'm an artist and the images below are from some recent sketches of mine.
If you were creating a horror/slasher movie with a muscle girl or a group of muscle girls starring, what would it be?
Who would play the heroines, what monsters would they oppose?
I was always surprised by the lack of muscle girls in such films, girls who are capable of at least really quickly running away. Or engaged a villain or monster in a real fight, and not just yell in the corner.
Yes, Crichton wrote an FBB character into his book Sphere, but the character was not portrayed as such in the movie. Remember, Hollywood does not always see things as we do. :(
I have to agree with Steeltrinity. I have always thought that Crichton was "one if us". In The Lost World movie, there is a scene where Ian Malcolm and Sarah Harding are in a trailer that the t-rexs push over a cliff. Malcolm has to climb up through the dangling trailer with Harding on his back. In the book, it was Sarah who made the climb with an injured Malcom on HER back. :)
I think I feel the same way. Like seeing a story where someone progressively gets stronger and stronger than others around them while they can't do anything about it fills me with a foreboding feeling and a frustration I can't quite describe. I saw the film "Pain and Gain" a while back with Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. Seeing how easily they dominated and kidnapped this rich man and forced him to do what they wanted was terrifying. I hate how black and white it was that the strong simply dominate weaker people and they can use their power however they want without consequence.
Then I started to get excited by that feeling with muscular women. The dread was part of the arousal. The unstoppable march of a beautiful powerful woman was a very attractive idea.
Just wanted to share with you so you know others felt the same way as you.
Thank you, really appreciate it, I like reading and writing about this.
Also great comment, I checked the trailer and it seems as a super weird movie.
You know, there was an old movie, I think starred by Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, or the like, something like "rat race" but the original, or the same kind of movie, there was some racers that got into trouble with some gas station worker, he kind of wreck the gas station in order to attack this weak guy (or guys), it also kind of mind fuckme very much, there was no justice, just the whim of some strong dude that can demolish a building if he is mad.
She was one of the amazon warriors in the first Wonder Woman film (with Gal Gadot). Watched her recently in another movie about some underground women's fight tournament, can't remember the name of it.
I am surprised no one has mentioned more recent additions. E.g. Tiffany Denise Hobbs in Chicago Five. She is in a short scene in the beginning of the movie where you can tell she has some guns on her.

Sheena is one of the worst movies I ever paid to see. Just awful. I only went because of Tanya but it wasn't even worth it.
Here, those two moments from this movie with Tanya Roberts :)
i recently saw tanya in a 1978 movie called''california dreaming'' it wasn't that good a movie for the time...but its a time capsule. Those caps of Tanya are from the "Sheena" movie from 1984. :)
On a more sobering note, she apparently passed away in January, although there were mixed reports of her death, at least at first. :(
I agree 1000%!
Yep, Rachel looks the way all movie heroines should look!

^ Sharon Stone's character but only in the book, not the movie. Although Sharon was ripped as fuck in Total Recall

Does anyone have the full movie "Pumping Iron 2: The Women" in HD quality?
The movie is Lady Bloodfight from 2016

Loved Jessica Beil around that time, her arms rocked. She is the only reason I went to see the movie Stealth.
