I don't know if this is related, but I have had several instances where I received a notification but that person's comment was not there on the picture. A number of these have been from user Bigheadmike. When I look at his profile, it shows 0 Image comments, so maybe he is having trouble posting as well. I know Kristi has mentioned the same issue of missing comments when she got a noti. This is one case I saw today:
" class="bbc_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">

I got a noti from Bigheadmike and 3478yes, but I only see 3478yes's comment on the image.

Should be fixed now.

Here's how it should look:

The thumbnails should come very close to the "News" box, and on the home page there should be a whole number of rows (so no rows of just 1 pic like in m76's screenshot).

m76's screenshot is fairly close, except what looks like is happening is for some reason the thumbnails are larger than they ought to be and for this reason don't fit into a row, wrapping around instead.

m76: I made the thumbnails a bit less wide to allow more room for error. Does what you see look more like my screenshot now?

No, the above screenshot is not how it's supposed to look. It's possible some javascript didn't run, or some CSS was interpreted incorrectly.

Wait, that's pretty much how it looks for me too, in Firefox, Chrome, and IE (Win7), with the exception of the Home, Images, etc. links at the top being more closely spaced.  Can you post a screenshot of what it's supposed to look like?

I'm running FF 56, on windows 10 1703, javascipt is enabled.

I checked and it looks like the same cluttered mess, on Chrome and Opera as well.

Thanks for addressing this.  I access the site through the Safari browser on my iPhone.  I type the comment, hit “post” and I do not get a message that says comment posted successfully.  The image blinks and goes back to normal.  The photo does not appear in recently commented section.  I was able to leave a comment in the GotW section but unable to vote.  Is this a cookies issue?  I am selective about accepting cookies.  All the best.

When you open a thread in your profile, it will autoscroll down to either the first unread message, or if there are no unread messages, the bottom of the page.

Can you provide more info? What browser/OS are you using?

What exactly happens when you try to leave a comment?

Since the site was redesigned, I am unable to post comments under photos.  I’m sure others also have this issue.  Thanks for looking into this.

I don't understand that design. So I always have to scroll all the way through my old posts to see the newest message from someone?

"Whenever you see a date like "x days/hours ago" you can mouse over it to get a tooltip with the precise time in UTC."

Okay, so I'm a doofis.   ;)

Yeah, that does work.  Thank  you!

What browser/OS are you running? Is javascript enabled?

HalfKorean: I just tried the chat using firefox 58.0.2 on Linux, and it worked fine. What version/OS are you using?

Thanks for the feedback.

Anything new is going to take some getting used to, but my feelings are positive so far.

It does seem considerably faster than the old site. Well done!

Minor gripe (and I may be the only one who cares) but the old site would show the upload time and date for an image, while the new site just shows something like "three days ago."

For someone like me, who has a sometimes frantic work schedule that only permits me to visit GWM once every three or four days, it was nice to be able to log the time and date of the last image I viewed, so I could tell where I was when I left off before.  The new date is a bit too vague to make that easy.

It's not a big deal, I suppose, but I did like the old way of dating photos better. I don't know how difficult it might be to change back, though.

Love the new faster website overall... Like that you enabled the uploader, the ability to edit a photo while it's in the queue... I occasional need this feature to add or change a name... I like the old upload style better, a little harder for me to navigate the photos I want to upload when I do multiple, but I guess it's something I'll get used to. Now if only you can figure out a way for me to upload as fast as tempp. My hard drive is filling up faster than I can upload.

p.s.- thank you, Chainer, for this site!

This site doesn't work well with Firefox. In fact, I can't even get into the chat room unless I open up a different browser and go in through there. Now I'm opening Microsoft Edge just to chat here. I don't use it otherwise.

I prefere the old appearance too, but I love the speed of the new website, so don't go back now. Sometimes I had to wait dozens of seconds before getting a single page (maybe it was a trouble with Firefox, it was better with Opera).

Hello everybody,

am I the only one to see pictures out of order after the site renovation?

Previously, clicking on the Images links, I could see pictures in chronological order (newest first, decreasing picture numbers). Now pictures are displayed randomly with many numbers missing. I understand that small numbers are a bug that's being corrected, but many high numbered ones aren't visible on the thumbnails page.

For example, on thumbnails page 1 there's picture #969402. Out of curiosity, I tried manually entering this URL:
" class="bbc_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">
and, alas, a picture appeared, but there's no sign of pictures in the 969800 range on the thumbnails page. Am I missing something here, like there's a button to sort images by number?

Thanks.

Because then it is utterly terrible.
I thought the page didn't load properly and some elements are missing, but it doesn't change even after multiple reload attempts.

It's all a mess, confusing, hard to navigate, and about two million steps backwards.

Yeah, the next/previous buttons at the bottom of the search results pages are broken, they're linking to things like "https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/images2/?order=scoreday" instead of "https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/images/2/?order=scoreday", the next/previous buttons at the top work correctly.

The next button at the bottom of multi-pages brings up an error.... must use the top next button.

The threads themselves should be arranged newest first. (On this page: https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/users/[username]/messages)

Inside each thread the messages should be oldest first.

I don't understand that design. So I always have to scroll all the way through my old posts to see the newest message from someone?
