Also not everyone is aware of the name of the model they found the image of. Also sometimes images are only discovered to be duplicate after they have been in the queue.

Also, sometimes a more recent upload is of better quality, making it a better candidate, but this is not always the case. We still deal with people uploading screenshots or dog-food quality images.

Yes but that is a separate issue, specially for very new uploads - if it's in the queue but actually uploaded earlier it won't necessarily be visible before you upload your version. You'll see your upload only until the earlier upload gets added to the model gallery then the differing image numbers are comparable by uploaders and it's clear who has got there first. Numbers aren't comparable when they then get merged. Only Mods can see both then.

Well, I can't talk for every women, but with my personal case with the registering and participating thing is completely true. I've been using this site since (approximately) 2017, yet I created this account just a few minutes ago, just because I wanted to save my favorites; everytime I entered this site and wanted to see an image/video again, I needed to remember the woman's name and search for the image, so, well, I wanted that to stop. It's not that I enter this site everyday, so that process of remembering the name of the girl was a bit exhausting. Still, I wanted to take some courage to speak up on this thread since I read it when it was active.

But well, I do fit on that "quench their thirst" percentage. Idk how many other women are around here just because they're attracted to muscle girls, but I'm confident that I'm not the only one.

Following rules doesn’t make your image be immune from being a duplicate. In this case, given all other factors matching, DaneL96’s video was uploaded first. Just check the image numbers.

Correct of course but when a newer image is merged or deleted , that image number is surely lost.

Obviously, there are women who are attracted to muscular women (hell, there's a subreddit dedicated to lesbians who like muscular women,) but I think that while there are exceptions, most lesbian/bisexual/pansexual women who like buff women are more likely to get their fix from elsewhere than here simply because this is a very male-centered fetish site. Also, while there are probably women who browse this site, I think most are unlikely to actually register for an account and far more unlikely to participate in comments or discussions. The reason being is that that either doesn't interest them, or they don't want to be flooded with messages from dudes (and if they contribute, I can easily see them using a gender-neutral username.) In the gaming world, I have a few women who play regularly online and they ALL have either gender neutral or male-based usernames and don't voice chat because, again, they don't want to be flooded by men clamoring for attention. When I played Halo 2 wayyyyy back in the day, my Master Chief avatar had pink armor, and as a result I had so many dudes asking if I was a woman and trying to get my attention (I used pink armor to troll them lol).

Since the images look identical, I'm happy to favor the non-deleted account (yours in this case) over the deleted one, even though that one was uploaded earlier. I've reversed it.

I got a notification this AM that an old upload of mine, from maybe 2020, of Carolynne Marquez had been merged into a duplicate, #1315315.

When I clicked on it, I found that #1315315 is on a deleted account. Not a big deal. But, I'm wondering why deleted accounts would get preference over active accounts. Thoughts?

GWM doesn't support any 'theme' beyond the main one. There have been requests for dark mode, but this is very low priority for the site, and there is no guarantee it will ever happen.

If you need dark mode now, then use one of the many browser extensions available.

Yesterday Tempp passed the 300,000 uploads, so it's time for more congratulations and thank yous! 🥳

This means 18% of all uploads on this site came from him. He has more than 15,000 new finds, and lots of women with most subscriptions have been first uploaded by Tempp.

Still, I have my doubts everybody is still so enthusiastic about his uploads. Since he passed the 200,000, some things have changed.

The number of uploads has gone down for most users. Which probably means that we have become more critical about our uploads, uploading only the best images and videos - which resulted in overall higher quality uploads. But Tempp is still able to upload hundreds of pics and videos a day. And if you browse through his list of latest uploads, you'll see many images that received 10 faves or less. You'll see images of girls with hardly any muscles, often in similar poses. And sure, every now and then you'll see an upload with lots of faves, but I would say that most of the uploads are low quality.

Another thing that has changed are subscriptions, making sure that more users will see images of their favorite models. The subscription system doesn't work in the favor of Tempp, because users subscribe to names, and Tempp doesn't add names to his uploads. Other users work hard to name his uploads, but often come up with just a first name, because that's the information Tempp provides in the source of his uploads. But users don't often subscribe to first names, because those are unspecific.

(And it's a bit annoying to search for a last name for some time and failing, feeling like you're wasting your time - while Tempp probably KNOWS the last name, but doesn't provide it).

So overall, I'd be happy if Tempp uploaded less, but focused on higher quality. There aren't many users here who are enjoying his low quality uploads.

I'm fine with his upload quality, it's just annoying that he doesn't take the time to name them all, so that they can be filed and search in this great system Chainer has created. Also annoying that he isn't made to slow down his unlimited uploads so that he can name what he has uploaded. I can't tell you the number of images of his that I've added a full name to. But I've stopped doing it since no one seems to care.

A lesson for us all Chainer. Thankfully, your quick actions saved the day! Well done!
