Where do you think I can watch the movie?

According to IMDB, the release date was April 14 this year, but only in Germany. Outside of living in Germany, and even then it's probably no longer in theaters by now, I don't think there's currently any way to watch it. Hopefully they have plans to release it on video or some streaming site, although I don't know where you would find out that information. Unfortunately their (Funfairfilms) Youtube page (linked in a comment above) and IG page both haven't been updated in a year.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone knows what became of this. This is my first time seeing the preview vid (link still works).

Searching the name "Fussenegger" from the title of the preview, we get the director's name Philipp Fussenegger. Searching that brings up 2 films, one of them being "I Am the Tigress." You can see Tischa Thomas is listed at the top of the poster:

Strangely the preview features anyone and everyone except for Tischa, so I'm not sure if this is the same project. Has anyone seen this movie? Was it enjoyable?

I am definitely more excited about Natalie Portman in the new Thor movie more, than this (and hope she gets into it like Kumail Nanjiani).

She hulk CG looks terrible (but fingers crossed the final product will be better).

Yea i was worried that with the woke culture they would turn her into some crazy deviant art style blob that is so muscular she should not be able to even move and also bald and with a big chin but looks like the opposite happened.

I think even if they made this movie in the 90s she would be more muscular i think this is because of Chinese and Arabian investors.

Excellent point. Globalization destroys everything from constitutional republics to comic book movies.

I mean it'll probably be more obvious one way or the other once the full movie is out (especially on home digital or blu-ray where it can be examined more closely), so it can probably wait until then.

I think it's the same with Joanie Laurer in the TV movie called ALIEN FURY. I think she plays her entire role wearing a jacket and long pants. It still looks dramatic, but you kind of wonder what they were thinking.

One I didn't see mentioned... MacKenzie Davis from the latest Terminator movie...

Various online reports claim that original CGI for she hulk had her to be much more muscular but later on her physique was slimmed down. Hoping that they fix her appearance in subsequent movies or series

I live in England but i have a satelite so i can watch Italian TV. There is a channel called TV8, which has american movies on and nearly everyone has a really fit girl in it. Girls with legs or legs and arms way more shapely than the average girl. I've discovered girls like this through it.

Alicia Ziegler. Her muscle is much more obvious on the film when shes in normal clothes around normal girls. I think the movie was called The ex next door

i watched it today. Her body was insane

The show itself looks good, and professor hulk's cgi is also good, so I don't really understand why they dropped the ball on she-hulk's cgi. Maybe because she's a new character and they're still trying to figure out her design or something? Mark Ruffalo's hulk has been in marvel movies since 2012.

Sadly, she hulk is to (male) hulk as women's basketball is to mens basketball. She's never going to have the same investment and appeal. For mainstream people, the female version just isn't a priority. The Supergirl show was a notable exception, but I also think that Supergirl is WAY more known by the public than She Hulk.

I kind of hate the CGI. I know that casting a bodybuilder isn't realistic, because they need someone with acting skills first, and muscles second. But it's also entirely possible to cast a fairly fit actress who becomes a really fit actress. I mean.. if Kumail Nanjiani can do it, then it's totally realistic for a woman to get strong and ripped for a role.

This seems to be the direction all these studios/production companies want to go. I guess it's too much work (and maybe costlier) to leave out the cgi and go in a more realistic direction.

For example when they made the original Jurassic Park, they used minimal cgi. A lot of it was done with hand built robots/puppets. Some youtube channel that tries to recreate iconic scenes of older movies with cgi tried to "upgrade" the scene of the T-Rex attacking the jeep. Needless to say it looked like a step backward and the original scene still holds up better than the cgi they use today.

After watching the She Hulk trailer, I couldn't help but think that the Hulk from the 70's looked more convincing. And it was just literally a bodybuilder (famously Lou Ferrigno) with green skin paint and a wig. So in almost 50 years they really haven't gone in the right direction. They rely too heavily on cgi and it just makes everything look more like a video game rather than real life.

Thanks, I uploaded it!

More Athletic than Muscular, but there is a French film called Love a First Fight where Adèle Haenel joins the army. In the U.S. trailer for the movie, she does have a somewhat athletic body, and in the beginning of the trailer she even wrestles a guy.

She's not really muscular, but this still looks worth watching honestly. It's bound to be better than the typical horrible B-movies that female bodybuilders are usually cast in.

I don't care much these days but when i first started getting into this it was mind blowing because i could not just Google pictures and videos of the strongest women around

i remember Demi Moore in striptease she looked so great in that movie i was not used to seeing that much muscle in a sensual situation i know they where already making those mixed wrestling videos back then but i had no idea about them.

I was hoping she would push it further than that for the movie.

how many lesbians do you know irl over the age of 20 that have interest in fitness compared to hetero sexual women? I live in the city and have seen many FB fitness related groups for women spring up over the years and the truth is 90% of the women that join these groups were there to either impress their man or find one, many of them regular mom types with zero dom bones in them. I swear the only reason why people believe bodybuilding is a queer activity is because of how many gay girls dominate female sports in college/highschool and movies, it's quiet strange and unrealistic.

I think that the proportions are probably similar to the general population, maybe slightly biased towards LGBTQ+ women, if you're talking about "fitness" to mean muscles or functional strength or sports. I think there is a "fitness for the looks" that's super popular with women seeking men, with a focus on thinness and whatever level of muscle is trendy. Thigh gap, flat stomach, tiny waist, whatever is in. In general the lesbians I know, all over 20, are sportier than the straight women.

That said, it's not that interesting to argue generalities. Plenty of straight athletes. Plenty of chubby lesbians. But if I had to pick somebody for my team and all I knew was "straight woman" vs. "lesbian woman", I'd go lesbian, whether it was general population or my own group of friends. I could still lose out, but it's the way to bet.

I have a external hard drive from Western Digital. I store my movies, shows, and more on there. It's still the best hard drive purchase me and my wife got.

Who´s she? I feel bad for her opponent. It's like the final character of a movie, where usually, the protagonist must to fight with a muscular person.
