As a kid I watched this b movie.

There was a muscular black actress called Robina Alston.

She was very fit!

I can't find the full movie, or at least some nice scenes.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks!

I don’t think this is true. I think many people are unable to put themselves in the mental space to give a believable performance. Reading lines competently is one thing. Conveying emotions through body language or a simple look is another matter. I’m not even talking about the extreme of method acting.

Saying “pull a Lou ferrigno” is not going to accomplish this. Half the deal with she hulk is that she doesn’t quite suffer gamma radiation the same way. Hulk at first is usually a mostly wordless rage machine. It’s easy to paint a dude green and tell him to yell and throw stuff around.

Much of she hulk is the opposite and she’s able to live her normal live just…bigger and greener.

Foery was not doing heavy lifting in that indie film she was in. Some one rattling off fetish lines doesnt really equate to delivering an emotional line in the climax of a show. If they pulled something liek that the show would still be terrible—just in a different way.

The only way to pull it off without CGI is to find someone who can get to a believable build of course they would have to be willing to do that. Otherwise the next best option is CGI but it really needs to be the movie hulk treatment. Which means time and money and lots of editorial review.

Now in her 60's, Angela still looks good. :)

Good lord... she was still pretty hot in Independence Day. But I suppose that movie is already nearly 30 years old... fml.

She's not a FBB, but super muscular in the Tina Turner movie 'What's love got to do with it', Angela Bassett. I was shocked how well developed she there is

the best way to do dated adaptations is to avoid adding anything that dates the material.

if the messages are timless, that's fine. but including (explicitly) megan thee stallion and twerking seems like a late cultural moment. remember when Black Panther dropped "what are those" 3 years too late? Sure, in the context of the movie you could say "well they're closed off and got the message a little late. But we all know that the production took so long to filter through layers of marketing and execs that the moment was over and the meme was dead.

avoid meme graveyards

don't include famous people as themselves. brief cameos are of course ok (i think elon had a passing mention in Iron Man) if they don't linger.

don't look at what's trending at the time of production and do it for the kids. by the time you've written it the trend has passed.

origin stories shouldn't be changed, unless the original scope is far exceeding what's currently in circulation (aka don't do a cosmic origin before the scope has become cosmic). in the show i believe she gets a couple of drops of blood and changes--how is that better than getting a full transfusion from Banner? why change that at all?

i just read a blurb that it's better for both characters because it gives her agency and involves consent but here's a list of heroes that got powers without their consent (in movies): Fantastic 4, Spider-man, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch. Pretty sure Captain AMerica and Black Panther are the only ones that didn't have powers and then accepted them willingly.

Have you seen wonder woman by patty jenkins?

I am critical of the late superheroe movies, but this one I enjoyed for the smooth picture and atmosphere and the unexpected turns in the storyline. Reminds on the old 70s WW comic books.

WW1 was good. WW84 was terrible.

WW1 was directed by a woman, but came from a screenplay written by two dudes based on a story by a different dude.

WW84 was directed (again) by Patti, but the screenplay Patti, Geoff Johns, and another dude, based on a story by Johns and Jenkins.

Clearly the story was a huge issue in the second movie, and generally it didn't look as good (though it did suffer from pandemic production issues and a bunch of reshoots).

Geoff Johns is still polarizing as a writer (depending on what characters and titles you prefer). Jenkins doesn't have exttensive writing credits. In fact she only has one other of note, Monster, which of course won Charlize Theron an Oscar, but Jenkins didn't write that story. Real life did--she wrote the screenplay.

SO there's nothing to suggest that women can't be good action directors, or comic book directors. It's just that a lot of things suffer from time crunch, and major factors like writers and directors having little to no production experience (they're easier to control), little to no knowledge of the source material, or even care for source material.

I am not sure about super hero movies but some good old action movies where directed by women like point break and hurt locker.

Call me a sexist, but I have never watched a female-directed action film or series that I liked. I hated Captain Marvel and Black Widow; both were directed by women.

This is a fair point. Still tho.... It's like wigging for women's stunt doubles.

But not like its going to change anything (and understandable that productions operate with a different logic)

It's like the Black Widow movie, the producers always talked about "giving female characters their space", but guess what?... In the movie they used a guy to portray Taskmaster stunts, and SPOILERS... Taskmasters in the story is a woman, why didn't they use a woman stunt double to be Taskmaster, but no, i imagined the plot twist wouldn't work then, Marvel has become real lazy and brainwashed...

Someone responded to the post saying she's known Stephanie for years (lives in the same state she used to) and she knows much more about the situation. She says it's a lot worse than people know and that the child faced a lot of abuse. Stephanie no longer has custody of the child. So anyone suggesting that Steph might be a victim herself is wrong, at least according to people who actually knew Steph and the child. That's why people are as upset about this as they are.

Not doubting that this has happened. It is just kinda painful to even follow the gossip, knowing that every second word that comes out of a bbs mouth has somebody else as a target. And if people call somebody out, then its usually not because they are seeking the truth but because they have unfinished business.

Phil Heath against Kai Greene, Dave Palumbo against Bob CHicerillo against Seth Feroce. Its never a modest conversation, there are always threats and accusations and rumors. I have received info about a row between two tanning companies in Germany backj in the days, that felt like a dodgy 70s Mafia movie. Bribery, violence, public accusations .... only the strong survive. There is so much dishonest activity that its always easy to put the blame on almost anybody.

Filth.

A surprisingly hard question. After some thoughts I would say something like 60 % strength/40 % muscles or 55 % strength/45 % muscles. However this position has often changed. At first I was 100 % strength until some movies (including Ballistic with Cory Everson) began to change it to almost 100 % muscles (at that point abs were my favorite female muscle part). Now it is more balanced and I know my preferences for muscles and strength are intertwined: If I see a clip of a girl showing her strength I would like to see a flex too. If I see a clip/photo of a new (unnamed) woman on this site I would think about her strength, too. But after all I think I would rather prefer strength over muscle than the opposite.

As for the domination part of strength-philia my interest shifted from f/m-domination towards f/f-domination in the recent years. For example the arm wrestling clip of Ninja Nancy and her average opponent (from herbiceps.com) was very good and I would have liked to see more like this. Also when looking through youtube-channels with lot of (cat)fight and wrestling-scenes from movies and series I would look for strength feats (mostly lifting, throwing) first and then for visible muscles. But I would prefer to see both at the same time, of course.

The issue is there is that hulk doesn’t really resemble Banner, at least until the 00s movies and they started using the actors faces. In the comic she still looks herself, just green.

The only clear cut way to accomplish this is convince someone to put on a ton of muscle and get painted. It’ll never happen. Next best option is to suit up a dude and make him green and work the face only

Pumping Iron II, if you can find it. It’s a flawed movie, but it is interesting.

I recall Women of Iron 1984 being another good one from that era. Not sure where you'd find it either?

She's superb in Strange Days too. As is Louise LeCavalier.

edited for further clarification

Separate from the cosplay thread, this thread is focused mainly on Halloween costumes... traditional horror characters like vampires, werewolves, mummies... horror movie villains... and anything that would be considered "scary" (evil clowns, zombies, homicidal maniacs, etc.).

She could technically be wearing any costume but I would prefer to have proof that she's wearing it for Halloween (a link to her social media post, or the image might contain decorations in the background, etc.). 🙂

For example, here's Alessandra Alvez dressed as a vampire:

I’m 36, when I was 12 I was frustrated I couldn’t get erections like everyone else. Nothing would do so. I began to lust over chicks in horror movies, then I began to lust over women beating up men, then I was women I tight clothing. Then one day I was drawing a woman, and I decided to give her muscles. That’s how I got my first 🍆🤥

For a long while I only knew Skin Deep from a promo about HBO's new movie package, the kind that shows only one second of each film. Fortunately that one second was of Raye Hollitt posing.

About how long are the muscle fantasies videos compared to the female muscle movies videos?

They're the same. Just posts the videos in a different order.
