Back when WPW and the old head Photog’s were advising people to stay away from us internet photographers, Mike Bogen would go out of his way to stand up for us. He joined Boomer and I for meals at shows, and it made us feel like we belonged. I miss both of them.
Wow Mike. I had no idea that WPW and other established guys tried to block your path to muscle girls. I have to admit, what you got for so little on two hours and 90 minute tapes was incredible, with WPW!!! Of course the old herbiceps site was quite the value in itself. Also, you guys helped launch Lou Krivda and Robby Brand sites. Sorry but the new site, just doesn't live up to the old one yet. 😫
Enjoyed reading this whole thread. We always loved the idea that some people thought we owned those vegas vacation rentals. The NYMC was fun to do, I even got to promote it briefly on Howard Stern, thanks to Nicole Bass, who was a friend.
I had no idea HerBiceps, which started as a side-piece to tbe NYMC, would be the way I’d make a living for the rest of my adult life (fingers crossed). I got so carried away with it, I punted my budding legal career at a top New York law firm. Good times.
At leat fate brought you away from New York and into an honorable profession,Mike! LOL.

I had the privilege of being friends with Mike Bogen. He was a real gentlemen, and a huge female bicep enthusiast. He got pretty sick and had a tough time getting around and his energy wasn’t great, but he always got excited talking about the old days being at WPW shoots (he would play victim/schmoe and write articles, but wasn’t one of the principles). Mike was a career sports writer, and his wife was the love of his life. She supported him doing the muscle stuff, and he took care of her when she got sick. He once wrote me a beautiful letter about her, and I’ll never forget it. He continued to follow my “career” and was always supportive. He wanted to write some profiles for HerBiceps, on the new platform, but he just ran out of time.

I do think Sean v Beauty is a Beast was real, I’ve arm wrestled her myself she’s no joke
The truth is that Sean has bad wrists and it makes him an awful arm wrestler, but also he doesn’t like doing it much cause it hurts him. So his matches, you’ll see him give up quickly cause he sucks and it hurts lol. But the matches don’t usually look great cause he’s pretty muscular. We mostly use other guys these days.
When I (I’m Mike) was the one doing a lot of the Armwrestling, it was my favorite thing to do with models who were game. I basically spent years learning that these women are mostly really strong. People would ask me if I was trying my hardest and of course I wasn’t trying to go fast and put someone down fast…I liked the slower paced test of strength and tried not to use my height or to get leveraged positions, which I could if I was going for that. As a result, I legitimately lost most of the matches against these muscular women. Now I look back, and I think I was really out of my mind that it kept surprising me that these women could put me down, and sometimes easily.
We just started a site where we will try and get all or most of the old stuff up along with hopefully a lot of new stuff.
Ms. Jeong is one of the higher profile athletes to succumb to these negative side effects, but it is unfortunately pretty common when you look at the broader picture.
so assuming someone into bodybuilding had a heart attack because of bodybuilding is completely baseless.
Dude bodybuilders take lots of substances. I don't know what An Da Jeong was taking, but let's take clen, which another person mentioned as an example.
Increased heart rate and dilation from using the drug can lead to cardiac hypertrophy. This condition is when the heart grows to an atypical size, which in turn can lead to a heart attack and eventually death.
There's a recent clip posted to Lola Montez's IG page (she's blacklisted so I can't post it here) where she's at a convention and pulls down her pants and flexes for the camera.
It just got me thinking that anywhere else in the world this would be considered "indecent" or "taboo," but at a convention you can do that. Also, what she was wearing was extremely skimpy, likely a thong, although we didn't get a rear shot.
I've never been to a convention myself, but this definitely provides some motivation to go!
For me the ultimate test of whether I like them or not is the clothed vs. unclothed test. If her nude breasts look like a mutilated mess like they were worked on by a butcher rather than a surgeon, then obviously I don't care for that. There are a lot of other factors that go into whether I'd like implants or not, but for the most part I still prefer none.
My gosh.... don't be silly. It's obvious, drug abuse. There are a lot of medics talking about steroid abuse thanks to social media.
It isn't obvious. I'd say it's a good bet that PED use was a contributing factor, but not obvious. It happened around contest time and pro FBBs put their bodies through hell to get that lean and conditioned for contest day. Her heart might not have been able to take it on that strain alone. Or it could've been that plus the strain PEDs put on her body. Or maybe she has a medical condition of some sort. We don't know yet.
Heart attacks are very common among people not doing any sports also, so assuming someone into bodybuilding had a heart attack because of bodybuilding is completely baseless. Don't confuse correlation with causation.
The initial trigger was a once-beautiful, big-ass, bad-ass bicep obscured by a newly-added piece of wall art and I ❤️ the fact that she DOESN’T give a fuck whether I still like her arms...or that I ever liked them in the first place. That not giving a fuck is an integral component of the bad-assery mentioned in the header.
As for the pro- vs anti- discussion you’re having or perceiving, I’m mostly ambivalent. Some look good on some people, some do not look good on others. Sorta like the shaved head thing. Some girls can pull it off, while others - even if they honest-to-god operate only on their own terms...well, yeah.
I'm generally pro-tattoo, especially if it means something to the person who got it, but I have seen many bad tattoos in my day. I'm thinking of cheaply made ones that people usually get while drunk -- that kind of deal. I'm not a fan of most face tattoos either, but I know they must hurt to get.
I would think that anyone who thoughtfully gets a tattoo does not give a care about what others think about it. I certainly don't. If that's an attractive trait to have, then all the better.

This is the same for me, I saw her at a competition once, she was in the crowd, her back was massive.
I also saw Amber Deluca but she wasn'tas conditioned.
Correct, I believe she was 112kg in "our" time

Who's this?
Ms. Jeong is one of the higher profile athletes to succumb to these negative side effects, but it is unfortunately pretty common when you look at the broader picture.
Example guys, my fav by the way is Kim Perez she really had Lil thighs same w/ calves but upper body was the best!!!!!!

That could ve great for another thread 👌 i’ll think about it
How you think they get that lean bro? Basically same thing as PEDs .. its diuretics annd things like Clen. Be serious.
Waking up to that video was a nice surprise. It is hilarious how no one batted an eye. "Well, that's just what you do here."

Women with implants that I do happen to like:
and etc...

Awesome, how much does she weigh? Should be at least 110 kilos/ 242 lbs at that height and with that broad muscular frame

I'm so jealous! I subcribed to her as soon as I saw her you're one lucky guy. 😊
Wow Pretty Woman, do you have More Pics?
