I've been into muscular women since as far back as I can remember. I remember being very, very small (maybe 5 years old?) and there was a FBB contest on broadcast TV -- this was back in the early 1980s, back before everyone had cable TV, and the Internet was many years away. I recall that my parents were not impressed by the muscular women, but I was absolutely enthralled. By the time I hit puberty, I used to sneak and look at the muscle and fitness mags like they were Playboys. The women, I mean. Never been into muscular men, even though I have tried just to see if I was gay. I'm not. But muscular women have always driven me crazy.
Had to be around age 13-14. I saw Yvette Bova for the first time on KaraDavis and that was the first time I had seen muscles like that. There were a few cartoons that had muscle growth that helped too. I’m 32 now and I’ve made so many friends in the FBB community over the years. My goal is to one day get to a bodybuilding show to see it all in person.
For me implant it's like if you don't believe that 100% muscle is not the most beautiful. It's like to recognize that chest muscle is not feminity...it's a resignation!
@Mike...Bill Jentz sent me a very complimentary email one time. He remembered my name, from buying their super early W.A.S.P material and so much more along the way. Thanked me for my continued loyalty and deep interest in muscular women. I remember all of you guys and Mike from DtV as well. Mike was so cool to talk to because he did lots of Ray Mertin style bicep videos. Can't even imagine how incredible it must have been to be able to work with all of those Wonderful women. It would be like going to heaven...without dying. 💪👍
I don't remember the age but I remember the time period. Elementary/Jr. High. American Gladiators, fitness magazines, and pro wrestling (more specifically Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson) took my soul and I've been pro-female muscle ever since!
12 or 13 in Jr High. I ran track and we practiced on the same track as the High School girls. There was one girl who was thin, pretty, Farrah Fawcett hair (it was the mid 70s) and slim, tan, defined legs with great calves and thigh muscles. I was in lust.
Our Jr High shared the building with the HS as well. Those 17 and 18 yo girls just drove a young 13 yo me going through puberty nuts. I remember one tight, Italian gymnast girl with great calves tight little ass wearing a sexy dress and platform heels. I think walking behind her on the steps (which I did a lot - she had to notice but not care) start my calves/legs/heels fetish.
Wow Mike. I had no idea that WPW and other established guys tried to block your path to muscle girls. I have to admit, what you got for so little on two hours and 90 minute tapes was incredible, with WPW!!! Of course the old herbiceps site was quite the value in itself. Also, you guys helped launch Lou Krivda and Robby Brand sites. Sorry but the new site, just doesn't live up to the old one yet. 😫
Well, people were legit kinda scared of the internet around 1998-2000, in a horror movie kinda way...and digital photography. The biggest question we would get was whether we were going to paste their heads on other people's bodies, photoshop them into porn or some stuff like that. People didn't even know what the internet was back then, a lot of them...including the WPW guys. It was a generational difference as was reflected in their failure to adapt and honestly, just their age. They believed in film, etc etc...and then also they also probably felt like they didn't want to share. It was smaller then. Eventually, it didn't matter...and I didn't take any of it too personally. But Mike Bogen was part of the DtV chatroom, and more online than the guys who were running WPW. It wasn't just those guys, it was trainers and promoters and magazine photogs who didn't know us.
I ended up having very cordial relationships with all of those guys, Steve W, Bill Jentz and especially John N. I wish I could have worked out a deal to buy WPW and their back catalogue, but never really got past the front door with that...I've lost touch with all of them now. We stand on their shoulders, that's for sure.
Amber Deluca isn't that tall without heels she's about 5ft8 and she's had alot of work on her face/body
Biggest girl I have seen in real is Emma james (Storm) absolute unit, she could beat up strong men
Saw Emma James many a time when she was emceeing Powerlifting meets, i.e. at BodyPower. For sure, she's quite a sight despite her rather small stature, and she knows how to make a crowd cheer for athletes.
It's the conditioning that's doing them in. 20-30 years ago there was plenty of big girls using steroids and HGH and they weren't having problems like this. It's the ridiculous pre contest regimens to strip out all the water. It seems like lately there have been alot of women getting ill or dying right around contest time. Does having ultra ripped fibery glutes look cool? Yes. It's awesome but unrealistic. Especially for women who are supposed to carry even more water and fat than men. They need to reevaluate the judging criteria.
To be fair, the harsh conditioning protocols already began earlier, in the 70s, I recall reading once that Lasix (Diuretics) was already in use pre-contest. No to mention the notable deaths of Momo Benaziza and Andreas Münzer in the late 80s and mid-90s respectively. The 90s were infamous for the crazy experimentations BBers would go through, with the self-styled 'guru' Dan Duchaine as its main proponent:

Conditioning drugs seem not to have changed that much for the past two decades from what I gather.

That’s so cool, size combined with height is such an irresistible combination.

Had the opportunity to have a session with her but didn’t follow through. Heard she was an animal during her sessions. Kicking myself ever since.
Apparently some guy’s buddy who got turned off by her fighting for the less fortunate despite her being a muscular goddess.
Maddieesx??

That's great! Maybe she'll release a statement so we school girls will quit our gossiping.
Agreed
Anyway, she's out of the hospital now :)
Hopefully she'll recover well
