@Nytrytr777 ok then that is a bummer i did find a lot of records for men but they did not just have one record even for men. but search engines really seem to hate the word leg press. even when i google things like fbb doing legpress i get few results. it keeps trying to correct it to bench press or show me clips of men doing it despite me putting the word woman in my searches.
It may very well be, since the leg press is not a powerlifting competition event, unlike the bench press, squat, and deadlift. Therefore, any such records, as best I know, would be unofficial i.e. local gym records, rather the anything national or international. Those of you who may know better, please correct me.
On the other hand, didn't Th-resa Bostick do something insane, like 1800+ pounds some years ago? There are more recent vids of Noof Yusuf moving enough metal to build a few cars (not sure of the totals). I also recall hearing that Michelle Ralabate (4ft 11in) could put up like 1200 lbs, again unofficial.
Good luck finding your answer, If you do, please share it here. :)
honestly i think a lot of them love it, even if they're aware of the connotations. several of them use it as part of their handles or codes or whatever. a few that i talk with frequently definitely don't mind me using it when we're talking muscle. i think in general it has become a more generalized term for buff chicks. i mean, i know women don't like "chick" anymore so maybe it's better than that, rather than worse, but as long as you don't get weird or CALL THEM THAT IN PERSON i think everyone is cool with it.
also theres def an increase in girls working out. when im lookign around at posts and i'm seeing girls in high school and college going to the gym in twos or threes, that's one or two more than I saw going to the gym together over the last 10 years. also, again anecdotally, my current gym which skews a lot older has WAY more young women working out, lifting, doing compound lifts than when i was there 10 years ago. almost no cardio bunnies. it's wild. just today i saw no less than 4 NEW women at my gym that are new to me, anyway, with very nice quads and calves, who knows what was going on under the shirt.
far more women are not afraid of getting under a barbell these days
but i wonder if they where still young today would they have the same personality. They grew up in a different time. a lot of boomers and early gen x people are not good with technology.
People who do social media are not necessarily good with technology. SM provides them a means to get the attention they crave. When you're old you're far less willing to farm for attention.
If these women were young today, some would crave attention and do social media, some would not. But I think the ones who would not, would quit the scene entirely. Old-school bodybuilding attracted a lot of ordinary women who wanted to get shredded. Teachers, nurses, and such who did bodybuilding on the side. Today's scene, not so much... it attracts people who are willing to commit to the lifestyle and put their bodies under extreme load with dehydration and PEDs and so need to farm for attention.
This was a lot easier than the Anastasia Leonova before/after poll because, other than the added muscle mass, Melinda's face looks pretty much the same. Anastasia's face is still gorgeous, but it has changed a bit since she started using PEDs.
Anastasia is better now too. Only 1 rule: the bigger the better

Tina Lockwood's legs would be mind blowing even today and she could go viral. i think most classic fbbs could make it in today's world. apart from some of the very early ones from the 70s. who are not very muscular by current standards

and we don't know as much about their personality compared to most modern fbbs. in modern times you sometimes get to interact with them directly. or they share more than just images and videos. while back in the day you only got professional photos and videos.

Last 4 pics of the "before" are my favorite
no point in comparing since every leg press machine is different

Excellent point - may be something that's their term, but not our (fans) term.
Kinda like the word "refeed".
Is it that hard to just answer a question?

prolly depends on weight divisions. maybe kristy hawkins and hunter henderson are close.
I tried to Google this but i got no relevant results. sorry if this breaks the rules but i can't find answers anywhere quite sad.
oh god now
Then

i think a lot of them could still be media friendly. you could definitely tell who based on their videos, even on the non Ray Martin ones.
ALphie Newman, Anja Langer, Kristie Oakley, and Cyndi Meintzner also come to mind.
She only got better.

If I had to choose than after would be it. But she's gorgeous either way.
Athena Annis and Pillow. Pillow was the KittyBitCosplay of her day, she liked to turn up at cons dressed as a Klingon.
After, she’s a FREAK, could hold up a house with that chest
Tina Lockwood!
Cindy and Britt are a given of course.
I definitely would say Colette Nelson, she has boatloads of charisma and is conventionally beautiful.
Also Catherine Holland for the same reasons.
