My dream physique is that of a muscular woman

Dec 16, 2023 - permalink

I don't even get what so weird about it, most of the girls on here have huge muscular arms, 6 packs, and pecs, that is basically what most men want when they go to the gym. I don't want to be someone who say's these women look like men but a man wanting a physique like that doesn't mean they are trying to look like a woman. It would be different if a man had a goal of getting a bigger ass or trying to get a skinny as possible, then you could say he's trying to get a womans physique, but most of the women on here have physiques that would be ideal for a man.

Agreed

Anyone want to discuss workout routines or nutritional strategies of female muscle builders?

Curious if there are any good programs that some of you are following?

I feel the same way, some of my inspirations for fitness are mostly women.

I think i'm going to start hitting a more glutes focused program. I already have a really nice butt, but want to make it outstanding. I own the book Glutelab, so want to do more programs based on hip thrusts and squats. Wish me luck.

The other big key is for me to diet and lose some of the fat around my midsection.

Great thread. I'm a naturally slim and elegant man, but after 15 years of bodybuilding exercises, protein shakes, and recently a real bodybuilder's diet I've gotten pretty buff. My goal is to have the physique of Manal Ben Jabeur, and if I could get on her cycle, it's achievable for me.

I think I would do much better on the PED regimen of a female physique competitor than on what the guys take. It's too bad there isn't a men's figure division, because my frame would be perfect for it.

The two hardest things for me have been the diet and finding the time to workout now that I am a busy career man. Once I started strictly eating oats, eggs, greens, rice, chicken, peanut butter and protein shakes my body blew up! And that was with just barely having the time to work out at home due to my career. Now I've got a little more free time and joined a hardcore gym - I'm excited to see where things go from here.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being inspired by these women. They have bigger pecs, delts, lats, biceps, quads, and glutes than 99% of men.

and what’s bad if a man wants a large butt and quads to go with that? So many of the men that I see online with muscles the legs look too small proportionally for my liking, nevermind the fact that I think that basically every male bodybuilder is too big as the divisions they have encourage them to get as big as possible within certain dimensions. I mean baseball exists and several mlb players have disproportionately larger legs than upper body. Some have shown up on mainstream youtube and such with people basically laughing at the size of a certain baseball player being hit by a pitch to the rear

Glutes and hams especially imho.

When I started focusing on aesthetics I didn't know what kind of physique I wanted to achieve, so I kept looking at male bodybuilders, athletes, etc. to find a good match, but I hated how most of them had big upper bodies (too big for my taste) and no legs, especially glutes, even the ones with big legs used to focus on quads.

Then a couple of months later I saw (literally by accident) a reddit post on the general feed, the title was "when a female bodybuilder wears a dress" , and I went like "damn, I want to look like that" .

Then I started ditching my old program, arguing with my coach ("you want your ass to look like a woman?" his words), my body looks way more balanced now.

Some female bodybuilders on this site have perfect proportions and don't look ridiculous (like most male bodybuilders) .

I love this. I honestly think the female bodybuilder look will be more attractive to men and women than the male bodybuilder look if you did head to head comparisons.

This is an interesting thread and I want to share my thoughts. I don't see anything wrong with men looking up to natural female bodybuilders as their physique goal. Men and women have the same muscles but it's easier for men in general to build muscle than women. That's why I think that male bodybuilders can look unnatural especially if they use steroids. They can become so big that they stand out in a crowd.

Natural female bodybuilders can achieve a physique that also looks good on men. They will be more muscular than most women. But since most men can build muscle more easily than women, the physique of a natural female bodybuilder should be achievable for men who do the necessary work inside and outside the gym.

I don't think that has anything to do with sexuality. I see it as someone admiring and wanting to emulate another person for working hard to reach her body's full potential naturally.

So here’s a positive story about loving muscular women. I used to be kinda fat. 250lbs plus. Bad cholesterol the works. I had a couple of sessions but I felt like a walrus with these women. I decided to lose weight because I wanted lift and carry. Over the next 8 months I lost 70 lbs. down to 180 ish. I got picked up and carried around. I got over powered easily. It was awesome. Then I decided I wanted muscle like I admired from the women on this site. I’m back up to 235 bu I have big arms and a slim waist. I’m 53 now. Admiring female bodybuilders saved my life. I don’t care to watch men workout but watching a beautiful woman hit the weights is heaven. I watch firm Ang get new ideas

That's a great photo. Combined with what you say here, it's a great example of why it's totally okay for a man to aspire to achieve things that women have with bodybuilding of any kind. Obviously, I agree with everyone here, and for a couple reasons. To start, in terms of body parts & muscle groups, and the way they look on a developed physique, men & women have a lot more common ground than I realized. Back to the photo of Manal Ben Jabeur: Her legs are complete, solid, and have nice separation. And her lats create an impressive wingspan in that pose. It's a perfectly nice, balanced body. I've watched a lot of men's contests lately, and I've definitely seen men with a similar build and proportions. I've seen photos and videos of men and women posing side-by-side, and they can absolutely be equals in terms of aesthetics, proportions, symmetry, etc. I've seen HUNDREDS of photos on this site, on YouTube, and a bunch of other female muscle platforms, featuring images of women that influence me, in terms of how much muscle I want to put on my body and what I want to look like. It's taken a while to figure out how to explain it, but I finally figured it out recently and included photo examples of both a male and female bodybuilder where they have quality muscle that I find VERY inspiring.

The majority of my male sports role models are from MLB/NHL/NFL/NBA, as well as some Boxing & Martial Arts sprinkled in. But in recent years I've really become a legit fan of the old school Men's Division bodybuilders and Lee Labrada is one of my all time favorites. I don't come close to his overall size and thickness, but I have similar traits in terms of the width of his shoulders and a stocky midsection. In fact, the reason he inspires me so much, is because I used to think my midsection was just flab and that I'd never fix it, until I saw photos of him and some other Latin/Hispanic bodybuilders & realized it was a genetic trait. I think my favorite thing about Labrada is that he always looks so solid and sturdy. I'm not gifted, in terms of the down deep muscle separation a competitor would need to get seriously ripped, and it's real easy for me to be a fan of a guy who finished 4th place or higher in 7 consecutive Mr Olympia shows despite not being as massive, or able to be as peeled and shredded as the guys he competed against, and STILL beat most of them. At 5'6" Labrada's the same height as I am, and was still one of the elite bodybuilders of his era. I've gone WAY too long without hitting the gym, but at my peak, I DID manage to get up around 200lbs, and I could see real progress/evolution in my weaker body parts. I don't take ANY kind of PED's and don't plan on it, but, even at my age (I'll turn 53 next February), I think it's possible to return to that level and maybe even surpass it.

The next photo is a great shot of Gabriela Hejna; there's a GWM thread about here: "Is Gabriela Hejna the new muscle beast?" so I know she's sort of an "it" girl among some of the fans. Whether she is or she isn't, one think I can say about her is that I would absolutely LOVE to have the arms and back that she's showing off here. She's 5'5" so she's also close to my height. I don't know if my back and arms were as thick as hers (or as wide as Labrada's got when he hit a lat spread), but, again, that combination of mass, proportion, smoothness, and muscular perfection is as good as anything you'd see on a man's body. Whether it's on the chats, in the forums, emails and PM's, I know I say this all the time on here, but it bears repeating that my wife is also a one-time bodybuilder who's 5'8" around 200lbs and knows what she's doing in the gym. She also knows about my love for muscular women IN FULL DETAIL. When I showed her this photo and explained how I'd LOVE to be built like this, she told me, "I don't blame you. Who WOULDn'T want to have that kind of muscle? It's beautiful." It was one of the best compliments I can remember hearing her give me. Yes, I'm a man who's very much into presenting as and being masculine, but I'm not insecure at all about being bi-curious and won't deny when something appeals to that side of me. But Gabriela Hejna is a VERY beautiful woman, and maybe even one of the prettiest girls to have her photos on the GWM site. Female bodybuilders in every division motivate me to train the way I train (when I'm not being a lazy a-hole slacker) because I've always wanted to be in a relationship with one, and I believe the best way for me to do that is to be the male equal to these women and the commitment it takes to have that kind of physique.

Also, last but not least, for all you guys who want to be in a serious relationship with a Girl With Muscle, I can tell you from experience, they ALL respect a man who sees them as his equal, then backs it up with how he handles themselves in the gym. It turns them on, it gives them confidence, and best of all, if SHE's the one who more advanced, who knows her way around the weights more than you do, she'll help you figure out EXACTLY what it takes to be on her level, especially if you've already made it clear how badass you think she is. She'll love you even more for wanting be as good as she is at what she does. Thanks for your time.

A couple bonus pics that I think explain what my personal goals are with bodybuilding. I just want to excel at the technique, train hard and let my genetics and natural muscle maturity take its course. That whole combination of being healthy and having a sound mind and a sculpted, completely PED-free physique, and being attractive to my Amazon Woman is where it's at for me. And having a lat spread that makes me look like a Flying Dragon doesn't hurt either. PS - I don't judge anyone, or have anything against anyone who uses PED's or is in favor of them. I'm a realist and I know steroids are a fact of life in bodybuilding, and that we wouldn't have a scene to follow without consenting adults who choose to use them to achieve what they do. I just don't want to take any chances and do anything at my age to jeopardize my longevity.
