Right now I am listening to a YouTube video about early medieval history and at the same time I am listening to the runescape soundtrack. I want to play some lord of the rings online and genshin impact tonight and maybe watch anime but I don't know what to pick. Probably some jujitsu kaisen or one piece. I know it's all quite random. and as far as reading goes I am going to read some language text books because I am trying to learn Somali. yesterday I was reading a lot of Wikipedia and linguistics books after I heard about a funny theory someone had. That turned out to be bullshit.

How do you like Lord of the Rings Online? I haven't played an MMORPG since Everquest back when I was a kid, and I am interested in getting back into it. I like the franchise, but I have heard mixed things (I am also considering Elder Scrolls Online or Final Fantasy XIV)

It's all right but like a lot of late 2000s mmos they had to turn it into a free to play game because they couldn't compete with wow. but it isn't bad compared to other free mmos. my main problem with most mmos is that they are too easy outside of the end game. but in lotro you can talk to an npc and change the difficulty so the game play is actually fun most mmos are so easy it's not fun anymore. There should be a balance. some mmos go too far in the other direction like Albion online were you just grind all the time and do pvp one thing I dislike about lotro is how long it takes to get around the world. and another downside is that it seems like there aren't a lot of players since the game is old. but maybe it's just because of the server I am on and I play late at night.
Playing: I don't really play video games lol
Watching: Breaking Bad for the first time (on episode 5). Over the summer I watched the movie "Ran," which I utterly loved.
Reading: I recently finished Pride and Prejudice and Little Women, probably the two classics I hadn't read up to that point. I'm also going through the One Piece manga as a favor for some friends lol.
Listening: "Yellow Submarine" soundtrack. Love the album and m ovie.
Playing: "The Mildew Children" - an unusual indie project; more like a visual, animated novel with minigames.
Watching: "From", "The Penguin".
Reading: Besides books related to work, "Culture Saga 6 - Look to Windward" by Iain M. Banks.
Listening: Nothing in particular right now; just "Background Sounds / Music" from YT music, aside from my favorites.
Playing: Persona 3 Reload. Going through the DLC right now
Watching: The Last of Us. On episode 4. I really liked episode 3. Great performance by Nick Offerman.
Reading: Nothing right now but the last book I read was A Clockwork Orange.
Listening: Failure. Cool band from the 90s that had resurgence since 2015 so im listening to their new stuff. The album im on is called, “The Heart is a Monster.”
Playing: Endless Dungeon on PS5. Been on a "roguelike/roguelike" binge lately. Fun game for co op.
Watching: just finished Shogun and now I'm on The Penguin and Dune Prophecy
Reading: currently stuck on Toll The Hounds (Malazan Book of the Fallen series). If you're into mature fantasy epics with a huge cast of characters, and zero hand holding, check this out. I'm serious about the hand holding though. The author spends almost no time easing you into this. But it's so fucking good if you just ride it out, and accept not getting it 100%

If you want a great Rougelike, check out Balatro.
And say goodbye to your productivity lol.
Topic is in the subject. Here are mine:
Playing: Elden Ring (PS5) and Triangle Strategy (Switch.) Been on a huge RPG kick as of late, and I had both titles on my "to play" queue for awhile. Both are great, though playing Triangle Strategy is making me want to see a remade or even simply remastered Final Fantasy Tactics for current gen consoles (especially the Switch.)
Watching: The Rings of Power. There are a lot of fair criticisms towards this show, but I am enjoying it so far for what it is, and I like it more than the first season.
Reading: The Fires of Heaven (Wheel of Time book 5). Going through the WoT novels relatively consistently (while reading a couple other books between each title), though I'm probably going to take a bit of a break from the series after finishing book 7 (which is the first half of the series.)
Listening: Cometh the Storm by High on Fire. Great stoner metal band, and as always they put out amazing albums.
