How interested are you in a GWM's personal life?

People who know me know that I'm a people watcher. I like to observe trends and discussions. I've noticed that a lot of users seem to get more turned on when they know the particulars of a GWM's personal life, such as her political preferences, sex life, hobbies, preferences, or whatever.

I'm just here for the pictures... actually the less I know about their personal lives, mental health, or political beliefs, the better.

I am very interested in it, when it's available. Sometimes it serves to make the woman more attractive to me, and sometimes less, but out of sheer curiosity, I like knowing. I really like hearing them talk, not only to hear their voices, but also to observe their mannerisms, and general vibes.

I have no interest in their personal life and don't want to. I don't want to know them as a person, we don't have a relationship. Parasocial relationships are not healthy.

It's good to humanize everyone. This is our essential value. I'm always curious, about everything. Details can be shared, to the extent someone wants to share about themselves. It's a sign of their confidence and personal comfort in society.

For GWM content: Having details here would be interesting. I would spend some time reading (more time on the site). For many, I suspect visuals mean more.

Note: I appreciate video where normal motion and someone's normal voice can be seen/heard (not just posing or in the gym).

I do this with everyone regardless of gender or how attractive they are but i am always curious about peoples backstory and their life style. since its just interesting to see how other people live since i don't want to be that guy who assumes everyone does the same stuff i do. most fbbs have a very different life from me so its interesting to learn how they became they way they are. and its not sexual because i also want to know how athletic men live and non athletic people .

The more I know about her the more attracted I am. It’s about imagined compatibility. What really interests me is her motivation and why she chooses to be muscular when the vast majority is not interested (despite the physical and potential health benefits). There is also curiosity to learn what motivates the few women to pump up the PEDS and get very big in some cases.

I'm interested in the geography. I want to know where there are higher concentrations of female bodybuilders around the world, makes it easier to plan holidays 😂

I don't go out of my way looking for anything about their personal life, but if I do come across something (like if I'm looking at their instagram, which tbh I don't do much) it can make me more or less interested depending on what it is. In other words I prefer the "blissful ignorance" model of relating to them.

I don't know which option in the poll best represents this. I'm not against it in the sense that I don't think it's wrong to look at things they posted publicly on the internet, so I don't know if the last two options are right. Maybe the "I don't care" option?

I don't particularly care, but it can be cool to learn. Classic female bodybuilding contests share a little something about competitors, which is a nice way to add some interest.

Idc. I know some minor things about some of my fav FBBs. But it’s common knowledge info I just stumble on like something being posted on their IG or answers to questions from HBC chats. But even then, the only things I actually want to know is when do they plan on competing & when are they going to retire. Anything outside of that is none of my business.

Sometimes knowing some stuff helps seeing her as a person, but prying into her private life is kinda out of place for me at least.

I think it's a Double edged sword. If her personal taste matches mine then she becomes a fav but if her personal tastes are bad then their stock goes down.

It depends. I don't follow a lot of bodybuilders and fitness influencers on social media because, honestly and speaking as someone who is also into strength sports, a lot of them are just boring. All their content is either only about the gym or fitness related, or posting lame "motivational" reels and quotes, or posting food or places they go to eat. I love seeing them have hobbies and passions outside of fitness. Like, if they are into music, or art, or if they like playing games.

An example I like to feature is Shayna Baszler. Her being into Warhammer 40K is one of the coolest things.

I agree. Changing the subject slightly, a long time male friend has been heavily into fitness for many years. For "de-stressing" from life's heavier times, he's into stamp collecting.

OMG, I thought stamp collecting was a myth, nobody can be that boring for real.

I'm not interested in personal lives of strangers, not even celebrities. It is more likely to turn me away when they expose that. This is not a dating site, I'm not looking for the perfect match, I'm looking for the perfect biceps.

I most certainly ain't interested in these ladies' personal lives. I just want to see muscles and beauty, that is all.

Learning about personal lives makes me feel like I'm not just feeding my fetish aimlessly, but actually finding other bits to help me understand the particulars of my attraction. So I'm all in.
