Inspired by the How big is your biceps poll.

The last time I measured was several months ago and I was at 7.5%. I’ve been bulking since then and I’m 12 lbs heavier, so I chose 8-10%

EDIT: This is a picture of me from the summer when I was at 7.5%. I'd say I'm at 9.5% right now.

Are you sure of that? All but 6% of the votes are above that value.

Yeah, 10.99% is definitely not right.

Based on the chart above, the median is right around 15%, since ~50% of respondents listed themselves in one of the >15% categories. (That said, about 15% list as "unknown," which means only ~35% list themselves a below that, so the median is likely a bit higher than 15%, but less than 19%.)

And the average (mean) a bit higher than the median since this distribution has a positive skew (only a few percent of respondents are below 10%, while ~33% of respondents are above 20%).

I just came up with 18.5%, using the arithmetic mean value of each stated range, and assuming 35% for the >30% category.

For transparency, I'm currently sitting at around 19%, although I've lost 20 lbs over the past few months (was more like 25% over the summer). Hoping to lose another 5-10 by the end of the year to get down to the mid-teens. Not sure if I want to push much further than that; would rather use the winter to bulk up.
