It's probably because more people are realizing that armwrestling when you are untrained actually poses a pretty high injury risk. When I was in college my university used to have armwrestling as an intramural challenge event, but now they don't have that.
And also, like you said, it's the social media algorithm. More popular videos get featured more, and in this case, it's professional-level armwrestling versus amateur.
I would rather like watch normal ladies arm wrestle as I'm not very interested in female muscle builders.
I'm not really into female body builders, so I'd much rather see regular women arm wrestle. It seems that competitive arm wrestling has promoted a large online presence, so any time you put "arm wrestling" in the search engine, the results are overwhelmingly featuring competitive arm wrestlers. This pattern seems pretty consistent across all social media.
I've tried a different things in the search engines, but didn't really have a ton of success. Has anyone figured this problem out?
