Use of Photo Fixing

Nov 08, 2024 - permalink

Hi, guys, I was interested to know if any of you also use photo fixing routines to improve image quality?

It won't surprise anyone to hear that so many photos on this site were likely captured with cell phones, often using mirrors to reflect a girl's image.

So the lighting and flesh colors can often use much improvement.

I've been using a Corel PaintShop program for a few years now that has two automatic photo fixing routines: Smart Photo and One-Step Photo Fix or something like that.

Unfortunately, these routines don't seem to be able to fix focus problems, but they can do wonders with exposure and color issues.

Anyone else here use such photo fixers?

i used to use an amateurish combination of gimp and paint net to improve pictures with bad lighting or weird dithering effects. but i stopped because the improvements are too minor and these days most new pics look good enough. it could be better but its rare that you see a really bad one that can be significantly improved by my techniques .

one awesome thing i found out was that some pictures use shadows as a form of censorship. so what you can do is increase the brightness and you can see some very glitchy boobs.

also one thing that i am a little embarrassed to admit but i will tell anyway is that 10 years ago not only did i not know you could download images with a right click but i didn't even know how to make a screenshot. but maybe it was all just because i had to share my laptop with my sister it may have been even longer ago then. but anyway what i did was i used my old nokia to take extremely low quality screenshots in a resolution of 120x160 .and they were ok on the small screen but i found out my phone had very basic editing capabilities so i found ways to improve the pictures so that was what got me into editing. the sad part was that a lot of these screenshots i took were from pictures and videos that seem to be lost media .so i kept trying to improve them for a few years wishing i could go back in time and do it properly.
