US presidential election 2024

Go and watch the Joe Rogan and Elon Musk interview that dropped 6 hours ago. At the 1:11:00 mark, they discuss why Kamala and the democratic elite are actually the largest threat to democracy. The way Elon and Joe describe the political state, it completely summarizes what I had felt inside and what I had been telling close friends.

It’s pretty crazy what they say about the immigration problem

There was a bi-partisan bill (that heavily favoured the wants of Republicans, and was endorsed by border security) that was ready to be voted on and put into law earlier this year.

Then Trump ordered his minions in Congress to squash it because he wouldn't have anything to run on if the situation was fixed.

The thought of a Harris presidency is terrifying.

Peanut was a beloved squirrel with a large social media following. The state of New York sent 12 goons to Peanut’s owner’s home, grabbing Peanut and another animal, a raccoon called Fred. The state of New York proceeded to euthanize both animals.

This is an example of an overreaction to a small, petty infraction. The animals brought joy to millions via their social media accounts. They lived for many years with their owners, and were harming no one. There are many issues going on in New York State that needs addressing yet the powers that be spent resources on this nonsense.

Republicans stand for smaller/limited government.

Remember Peanut’s name, save your pets! Vote for Trump!

Are you kidding? Trump phantasizes about shooting people, e.g. Liz Cheney or immigrants in general and you argue with a squirrel?

Fantasizing about shooting people? What he said is that warhawks like Liz Cheney would think twice about sending our children to war if she had a gun pointed at her, or if she had to serve. The context is - if the shoe was on the other foot. And remember, Trump WAS shot due to the left's violent rhetoric. Do you purposely take things out of context or are you that fucking stupid?

The kid was a messed up individual who spouted right wing nonsense in class. But yea - he shot Trump due to the left's "violent" rhetoric.

Meanwhile, guys like Trump have been advocating for violence since the 80s.

Trump's rhetoric lead to the Capitol being invaded by a bunch of lunatics, chanting "hang Mike Pence", overturn the election and probably kill some Dems too cause they're so unhinged.

The kid that shot Trump was a right wing spewing lunatic! He was one of theirs! This is the kind of stuff you need to be paying close attention to.

He was "registered" as a Republican which means nothing, you can still vote however you want. Also, Thomas Matthew Crooks donated several times to democratic causes including several to "act blue" which is an extreme left activist group. Thomas Crooks was part of several of these groups. His donations are public access, you can look them up. I see you drink the mainstream Kool-aid but get confused with the details.

Politics really have no room on a muscle fetish site, but I see many people on here who are ignorant as shit, and I will call you on it.

No mention of the 580 BLM riots pitting neighbor against neighbor with numerous deaths, but Jan 6 bothers you?

Bingo. It's only getting worse. Half of the country thinks the other half of the country is subhuman. Whether one side is Nazis and the other side is good, or one side is pedophiles and the other side is good, it's all hyperbolic.

We vote one way or the other and sky doesn't fall, corporations still fund all the candidates at state and national levels. We all agree on the vast majority of topics, but there's no chance of unity because who wants to team up with Nazis or pedophiles? "We the people" end up at each other's throats while corporate overlords raid and pillage to increase personal profits.

Ohio State vs Michigan, Liverpool vs Manchester United, etc. Your team has no redeeming value. Our hooligans are a classy bunch and yours are degenerates.

Well put brother. I'm checking out of this conversation because I can feel myself getting heated. Take care 🤙

He’s gone too far alienated too much of his fan base, the MSG rally and his recent talks on tariffs did him no favors.. he’s done.

Okay then. Enjoy your ANTIFA and BLM post election celebrations.

Lmao

An Overwhelmingly Peaceful Movement

The vast majority of demonstration events associated with the BLM movement are non-violent (see map below). In more than 93% of all demonstrations connected to the movement, demonstrators have not engaged in violence or destructive activity. Peaceful protests are reported in over 2,400 distinct locations around the country. Violent demonstrations, meanwhile, have been limited to fewer than 220 locations — under 10% of the areas that experienced peaceful protests. In many urban areas like Portland, Oregon, for example, which has seen sustained unrest since Floyd’s killing, violent demonstrations are largely confined to specific blocks, rather than dispersed throughout the city (CNN, 1 September 2020).

Wait, you just chastised the last guy for not paying attention to context, but then when context flies in the face of your argument, you dismiss it wholesale?

Hypocrisy is the biggest signal of a skewed moral compass and honestly when it is as blatant as this it is just rather pathetic and weak.

It's why they are consistently compared to a cult.

ARE YOU THIS FUCKING STUPID??????? Being a registered Republican does NOT mean you have to vote Republican, holy shit. The kid voted Democrat and donated to democratic causes. You can research this for yourself. Learn to read, being registered a certain way does not mean you have to vote that way down the ticket. Also, I like that you are claiming moral high ground when you can't even grasp the concept of hypocrisy.

I never claimed anything about my own morality, nor any percieved "moral highground"... I merely pointed out that your moral compass was far from calibrated.

Perhaps if your reading comprehension were as robust as your ego, you wouldn't feel the need for strawman arguments. Do better.

I think you're underestimating how ignorant people are, especially here in America. But I hope you're right.

Also, if I'm being honest, Kamala didn't run a great campaign. She failed to address the number one issue concerning most Americans: the immigration crisis. "We tried to fix it but...", isn't what people want to hear.

> > > > Very well put. > > And for the people wondering what Kamala is running on.... > > 1. She plans to try and fight inflation and interest rates to help our money go further. > 2. Significantly increase corporate taxes. Avoid increasing taxes on Americans making less than $400k. And increase tax credits for new parents. > 3. Support Ukraine > > to name a few things

People claiming to not know what her platform is are being purposefully ignorant, or just trolls. The information is out there, on her website, her rallies, etc.

It is fair criticism, she has not done a good job of communicating what her exact plans are. For instance, what is her plan for solving the immigration crisis? We know Trump wants violent mass deportation, which is obviously horrible, but what is Kamala's approach to the problem?
