Similar images not what other user's favorited. I think the same images would be more useful. Better?

Similar on what basis?

It takes the images you favorited, finds other users that favorited those, and presents you a bunch of images those users have favorited, using some math to find the images with the most overlaps.

It does not use any sort of visual processing of the images themselves. That would require some sort of AI/ML. Nor does it currently look at other metadata like tags.
