Was creating specific images as I was reading along and I gotta say it's definitely a place to visit I like how the ladies aren't all that buff to steer controversies away and to keep a mild ambience not that I wouldn't appreciate a Tina Zampa type physique though.
I just have one question:
Can you take the girls to your home/hotel for sessions?

Nope. The girls are performers and bartenders and the bar does 4 timeslots a night, so they all need to be there the whole time. Secondly, that sounds pretty creepy to proposition something like that, not even considering any legal ramifications of what would be pseudo-prostitution. First and foremost it's a bar, and first and foremost the bar's vibe is goofy fun. It's really not a place for muscle fetishists to get their rocks off, but it's a great time if you can appreciate muscular women in a non-sexual way.
Sounds fun and a lot more affordable than a session. I did hope you could just go there and buy a ticket but I am just a 29 year old boomer disliking online payment . A few years ago I was in Italy and I wanted to have a session but I didn't have enough time to arrange it and the hotel internet was broken.
@kuchi if they did that it would be way more expensive than 35€
I watch them sometimes on twitch. It looks like fun. They're generally nowhere near fbb/physique level. But cute nonetheless. There are one or two who seem to be growing a bit. Maybe 'Hari', not sure if I spelled her name right but I think she's the most muscular. There's definitely one competing in figure too who is quite lean. If I was still young enough I'd go check it out in Tokyo for sure.
I've seen clips on YouTube about it. From what I have seen, it looks like only a very small portion of them are actually muscular.
When planning my trip to Japan, I knew I wanted to do something uniquely quirky that I couldn't see elsewhere. Prior to spending time in Tokyo, I planned to see historical landmarks and places of natural beauty; I wanted to see essentially the diametric opposite. The Muscle Girl Bar came to mind as I was scrolling around the shiba and cosplay cafes, and I realized it would be the perfect place.
I had to reserve a spot a few weeks in advance on their website; I don't think walk-ins are accepted unless people cancel their reservations. There were 15-20 guests in total. The website is a bit janky but totally navigable, so I had no issues buying the tickets. I went with friends and each of us got the ¥5000 foreigner special, so it's about $35 per person for admission and bottomless drinks. The alcohol flows very freely, and the drinks were tasty for what they were. A lot of the drinks came in giant glass mugs.
Ok, boring stuff done. Onto the actual stars of the show: the muscle girls. The physiques of the 10 girls there varied greatly. It's much less about visual muscularity and more about strength since the activities they offered were more about athleticism. The most visually striking women were at bikini/figure levels of muscularity.
You're set up with one girl as your primary bartender/server, and she will also casually talk with you during the evening. We had Kay and she was delightful, she spoke perfect English and was great about keeping the conversation going.
There's a list of activities you can pay to do with the girls, like posed photos, being slapped by them, and getting carried by them. Women also get an additional few special options, like getting squeezed between two muscle girls. It's a straightforward system where ¥1000 will get you 10 "muscle dollars," and activities are all multiples of 10 muscle dollars. You can get 10 dollars free if you can chest press 45 lb plates (it's a lower weight for women) for 50 consecutive reps. I got slapped, bridal carried, and photos with all of the girls.
The experience is 80 minutes long total. 30ish minutes into your timeslot, they start a show. I had seen reviews describe the place as "weirdly wholesome" and I can now see where they're coming from. They do a lot of flexing and there are poles that some girls dance on (and whenever you pay muscle dollars for something, they ask you to put the money in the strap of their sports bra), but it didn't feel uncomfortable or exploitative. Maybe it was the alcohol that softened any embarassment I anticipated having.
If you're planning a trip to Japan and are alone/with company that will get a kick out of something strange, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. I don't know what their muscle girl roster looks like, but I don't think you would expect to see female bodybuilders or strongwomen. This is not the place to ogle at buff women. It's more about the energy of the place and that you'll be blasted by strange sights and sounds for a little more than an hour. It's also decent value if you just want to get drunk.
Feel free to ask any questions.
