I’m sorry but as some one who isn’t white and has a preference for POCs the thought of having to search for women again on this site only by name instead of race is completely overwhelming, there’s enough info on these girls for us to be able to figure out what they identify as this is definitely a none issue.
Isn't it a thing with race that one color decided that they where superior to the others and treated them like sh*t and that's for lots of people part of the load it still bears? Racial separation came to mind seeing the Black, Asian threads and now black, white. green, Asian etc tags. On the other hand could it be more about sexual preference in this case? So much more neutral? Just like muscle, no muscle, blond, black or red hair? Big calves or biceps ?
For me personalty: I don't have a need for this tag and can imagine that it can be hurtful to or of use for others
It probably doesn't matter. So long as we're not ranking anyone based on their race. Some folks are just naturally more attracted to one race or another. There's not much you can do about it and it shouldn't be shamed or dismissed. But I guess I'm lucky as I appreciate all races equally! The more muscle and definition the better. 😁👍

It depends with me I like them all too but some days I look forward to checking out one group over another, the new tagging system has helped with that tremendously so much so that I’ve been hooked on this site again because of it..
so if tagging by race goes out the window so do I cause the genies out the bottle, might as well get rid of the race themed threads too while we’re at it ethnicity as well.
Eh, I questioned the need for some of the tags at first, but it's literally just demographic information. People can also use them to help narrow down a FBB they forgot the name of, or a picture they remember seeing a long time ago.
My only question is whether the "white" tag should be changed to "caucasian", I feel like there's less chance of some people being weird about it that way.
Yeah, I think this a little silly. The nationality stuff is whatever but the racial stuff seems unnecessary at best.

Men of color are more likely to prefer women of color than white men, so racial tags are more useful for them, since most of images here are of white women. So here comes a strange picture: white users are worried that racial tags are offensive to people of color, but users of color think it is useful and hope to keep it
I've always wondered where "white" begins. Spain is just south of France, so they're white. Then Portugal is also white? So Italians are white, but Tunisians and Algerians aren't, but they're not black, but they are African.
Russians are white, Siberians are Asian, Dagestais are Arab?, Georgians are white? Greeks are white, Bulgarians are white, but Turkish people aren't white, even though they kinda are. Swedes are super white in appearance, but no more white than Albanians.

It begins where the person tells you, like this really isn’t rocket science people.. all we have to do is ask but most of the time the info is readily available to us.
Why make this harder than it needs to be? Is it because it makes you all uncomfortable? Maybe ask yourselves why that is instead of tearing down a useful tool.

That's not true. Andrea Shaw is not white, even if she says she is. Stacie Tovar isn't Korean even if she claims to be. Objective truth exists. I can tell you I'm a flying walrus from Planet X, but that would be silly.

Point out where I tore down a tool. I asked questions and made no judgement on the tagging process. You're projecting your feelings of the discussion on my comment. This isn't Twitter. There's no need to inject hostility into innocuous discussion.
@admuf
Not sure what the original poster meant, but I want to tip in. Many of the concepts of race accepted as common sense in some places, like the US, make absolutely no sense elsewhere. One could have a hard time trying to fit Brazilian bodybuilders in American race standards, for example, just to begin with. Same thing would be true in most South American countries. I'm not against this being in the tag system, 'per se', but it may not be as straightforward as you think.
As a European I completely agree with this, the fixation on "race" is typically us-american. Not saying that there's no racism in Europe, but even the word "race" has kind of a negative ring here, as it's a concept of the colonial age that has no foundation in modern science anymore. So I could very well do without the race tags. I mean there are only so many fbbs, is there really the need to categorize them like this? If you are into white girls or black or anything else, I think you'll easily find what you're looking for in here without the need of a tag.

If one of the girls says they’re white then we absolutely should accept that as fact, to do otherwise, to completely dispel their labels is actually incredibly disrespectful.. race may be a construct but it can be helpful when categorizing things like photos/videos.

This whole entire conversation is about whether or not the tagging system for race should stay in place sir, if your feeling some aggressive energy coming from me it’s because none of you are being serious right now..
None of You have given decent alternatives to your made up issue. None of you seem to be able to grasp how difficult it’s been to have to wade through the majority of photos here created predominantly by (trigger warning) white women just to find a few POCs.. And No one complained when the (trigger warning) Black & Asian forum posts popped up years ago so none of you should have an issue with this now..

Explain to us how you’ve been able to easily find black girls. What exactly have you done to find them?
"what exactly have you done to find them..." One can try reviewing the uploads, commented uploads, et al. The information is there.
So instead of one convenient click we should spend hours searching through people’s profiles? Do you have a job? If so what is it because you have a lot of time on your hands I’m jealous.

I disagree. It can be hurtful and offensive to actual members of the groups. For example, if someone claims to be Cherokee, they take away an opportunity from an actual Cherokee Indian. If a white woman pretends to be a black woman, it can be controversial.

I'm feeling disappointed that you've not only failed to address my original comment, but are also actively misrepresenting it. I did not make any value judgment on the tagging system. I contemplated the vague nature of "white" and asked for clarification. I don't think you read my comment at all, but quoted my comment as a jumping off point to express dissatisfactions with the discussion as a whole.

That Trigger Warning is facetious and you're not approaching the discussion in good faith. I clearly questioned the vagueness of "Asian" and "black" in my first comment you didn't read.

The thing is no one gains or loses anything by having their photo tagged with the race they identify as, this is false equivalency.. a Native American isn’t going to miss out on a scholarship because Quimmah is tagged as such.. nonsense.

This whole entire conversation is about the tagging system, you’ve been against it the entire time by being so outspoken about this.

It’s not factious I felt it was necessary, these words are clearly bothering many of you here if they weren’t you all wouldn’t be so bent out of shape about them. And I’ve read every users point, outside of GWM they would make sense but on a image/video forum where we search for girls, share and save them to files by things like ethnicity, hair length and muscle size.. your points are all nonsensical.
This site is predominantly about looks and race is a significant factor there. Why wouldn't you want to have it included?
"so instead of one convenient click, we should spend hours searching through peoples' profiles. Do you have a job? If so, what is it because you have a lot of time on your hands. I'm jealous."
Really, dude? You're the one who keeps pushing your personal issue and expecting everyone else to buy in. Who said anything about "peoples' profiles?" My reference was to the daily uploads. I'll offer that you appear to be the one with "time on your hands."
Bottom line is that this is Chainer's site. He'll consider the opinions expressed and do what he thinks best.
To quote myself apparently "being outspoken against the tagging system":
I've always wondered where "white" begins. Spain is just south of France, so they're white. Then Portugal is also white? So Italians are white, but Tunisians and Algerians aren't, but they're not black, but they are African.

The person who claims to have "read every users point" has has lost credibility by blatantly misrepresenting those points.
@Fireschitks, you have failed. You can continue to argue against the strawmen you've created. I have defeated you in this debate and officially withdraw, having proven myself to be the bigger man.
You touch on one of the core problems here, which is you don't know how most people think of themselves. More often than not, a racial designation is a category imposed by others, and more often than not, for less than benign reasons. Who makes these decisions here?
In my opinion, having racial, religious, and sexual designations that are matters of personal identity as tags here is way outside of what this site is designed to do. I found it interesting that some ambitious user has categorically tagged models as black or white before tags for "bodybuilder" or "figure/fitness" have been added. This seems like a drastically misplaced priority.
