Im not sure if I completely understood the described situation, but I cant see THAT big scary and dangerous aspects of it. As a fbb fan or schmoe I really cannot guarantee that I would not have reacted in the same way as the agent here. Seeing my favourite fbb in person, thinking of "oh the moment of my life (and chance??) has arrived, now or never. What can I do to open a talk, it would be best to talk when she is not surrounded by others, now, lets open with a pic of her, she might like that because she is narcisstic fur sure..." And so that happened.

For the record: "goddess" is often used as a BDSM term. It means a dominant, powerful woman. You'll address a domme as "yes goddess" in the same way that you'd say "yes doctor" to someone.
Although to be fair, I think that this language is lost on a lot of schmoes, who simply equate it to the literal meaning.
Either way: Danielfan is entirely wrong. The situation described (man gets on an elevator with a woman, solely with the intention of confronting and engaging her) would be terrifying for pretty much any woman on Earth. You'd need to be unbelievably naive to think otherwise. But I'm not putting anything past some of the members of this forum.

They all put these women on a pedestal and short circuit their brains. Just look at how they talk about these women in superlatives. Look at some of reviews on the camsites. There's a solution to this. Take it upon yourself to push yourself in that manner, to achieve a similar physique. That will help you understand that they are just normal people too. In the process you become healthier, mentally and physically.

Sure a generalization of a particular demographic won’t completely address the differences of each individual, but that’s how statistical analysis draws data. How else are you going to gather data than categorizing large groups of people into samples?
Will they all be similar one to one? No, but if there are enough characteristics to fulfill the original thesis than the analysis is considered good enough. What I’m trying to get at is there are reasons why generalizations exist because the observations are mostly(mode) true to the sample.
Generalizations should only be drawn when the majority of a population exhibits a certain behavior. Instead, they're often drawn based on rates, even if it isn't representative of the entire group.
Look at it like this: Say Population A has 1 million people, and one person has committed a crime. Population B also has 1 million people, but two have committed a crime. Population B has a crime rate twice that of Population A, yet 99% of its population aren't criminals. Would it be fair to generalize Population B as criminals?
I have personally never seen a generalization made that is actually a fair representation of an entire group.

It only takes ONE attacker to harm someone or worse. It doesn't matter one bit whether the stereotype is fair or true. The person who feels threatened has to deal with that encounter as a single data point, so to speak. She would have no idea whether or not the guy approaching her was that one in a million or that one of two in a million. The stereotype question is beside the point. The guy in the elevator was very fairly and rightly perceived as a potential threat. He wasn't there representing a group. He was pretty clearly stalking. She has to take care of her own safety.

whether he's dangerous or not.. what the guy did was ill-adviced, and uncalled for. I can understand his desire to engage with a fbb.. but what he did here was stupid... also, considering that Michaela is (if not) the most private person among pro fbb's... multiple levels of stupid there.
Im not saying Michaela cannot be approached.. but if he schemed that "elevator encounter" it is far easier to engage in a quick conversation with her in a crowd.. or.. even as she is walking towards the elevators, call her out, approach, deliver your compliments and walk away.. if he's ashamed of doing any of those two options.. then he needs help.
and while obsessed fans are highly unlikely to harm fbbs, please consider that women are repulsed by a myriad of things when some guy behaves like this and displays insecurity and lack of confidence... in some aspects, they cannot tell if you are simply terrified, frozen in thoughts, or if you are indeed dangerous..
