Long videos and upload size limit

The problem is that due to the upload size limit, uploaders can only upload about a 1 minute video before they begin to sacrifice quality to reduce the file size. When you get videos that are 2 minutes or longer, typically it's at the cost of quality.

If you want to watch longer videos (5 minutes or more) then you're probably better off going to Youtube (this is where a lot of videos are clipped from on this site).

I would like videos over one minute long. I know this site has technical limits I found some old videos from the 2000s and 90s that I wanted to upload but they don't meet this sites minimum quality requirements. and most are copyrighted you only have a short period from 2005 to 2010 when you could upload videos online but didn't have HD. before YouTube everything was copyrighted. but even videos in the 1 to 3 minute range are rare now just because most fbbs don't make them and stick to very short TikTok meme clips. either just because they are follow trends and don't know or care that people prefer longer videos. or they don't want to give anything away for free but some of them don't have any only fans or other paysite they just make videos for fun or earn money from sponsorships.

Long formatted FBB videos are dying because of people’s poor attention spans and that’s due to over use of social media.

35 minutes is all it takes to hook some one (confirmed by TikTok) and I’m afraid it will only get worse before it gets better. The younger generation (the most vulnerable) already views YouTube as old media because of how long videos are on there, it’s sad to see since yt is a gold mine of information so many of them have no clue how to use it to their advantage.

I just prefer longer videos because I don't want to keep clicking. even on TikTok or YouTube shorts scrolling is annoying and they start showing me unrelated stuff.

Another thing to consider is: if longer videos could be uploaded, people would be tempted to just upload long videos wholesale that only have a few interesting bits. I would prefer those bits be cut out and uploaded on their own.

I'd agree with Chainer's sentiment, partly because I see many videos where there is barely a second of muscle reveal, even if it is 10+ seconds long (or whatever feels longer than needs be). I am of the opinion that it is better to trim a video to the essential section, than try being just another YouTube.

It gets annoying to spend a while watching a video, wondering if there is going to be any muscle reveal. I'm of the general sentiment if the video isn't going to show the muscle in the first few seconds, then it is candidate for rejection, partly because I don't have time to give such a video the benefit of the doubt.

Note, originally the videos were meant to be a better alternative to GIFs (from what I remember), both for reasons of quality and because the file sizes would be smaller. Story telling videos weren't really the focus of the move to videos.
