Famous Schmoes!

Oct 14, 2024 - permalink

Shannon Sharp was at Vegas for Olympia weekend, even caught a pic w/ Lenda Murray. Wondering if he’s an undercover Schmoe? His reel on IG focused on the men competing and no appearances of any FBB. He did mention he’s attended Olympia’s in the past. Maybe so, who knows

He probably just enjoys the sport

He's a big dude who was jacked at one time. He spent mega time in the gym to be the player he was. I would not read anything into it as far as him being a schmoe.

He does and has a video out with Ronnie, I can’t post the link but you can copy and paste this text in YouTube’s search bar to see it it’s great.

Until now, I've never heard it used to refer specifically to guys who are into muscular women. Not to discredit anyone who does use the word in this manner, but it does seem to be a very niche, underground definition.

It is used in a niche ... the niche underground world of paid muscle-worship. No discredit was gonna happen, so no need for the disclaimer. "New to me" is always a risky basis for evaluating something.

It began way back with Kay Baxter and Pillow in the 80's. They were complaining a little about men who followed them around or one might say stalked them back years ago. She said she wished she had a "schmoe repellent." Tina Lockwood and many others used the word. It was a regular term amongst the fbb girls going way back. They all knew the word and many used it often. It refers to fans who were very into watching the fbbs at all costs. It is new in any way, shape or form,

From my view, I don't consider being attracted to muscular women to be what make someone a schmoe. I also don't think your appearance or fitness level has any bearing on if you're a schmoe or not. Rather, I think it all comes down to how you interact and present yourself in front of buff ladies. Do you act socially proper and respectful, or do you act or message them wearing your fetish on your sleeve?

I always thought “schmoe” was GWMs version of the nword, like a term of endearment.. you mean to tell me I was being insulted all along!? I was 12 when I first came here I didn’t know😭

Exactly; I’m attracted to muscular women and know how to act around them; women period. I’ve dated some and been cool with some as well, never on any stalker, blowing up social media, etc. I know folks tried to make it as a term of endearment but I always viewed that word as something negative. Not know how to be around FBBs, just doing too much to the point they don’t like your presence around them.

That would not be a schmoe by the way most of the girls talked about it. Some commented on appearance but most was behavior oriented. I don't think it is an overly important definition. I worked the money and security and the NY Muscle Club a few times and there were some guys we had to ask to leave....only a couple. That was even with a paid ticket.

The girls were all over the map in personality and demeanor. The same as any other group of random girls might be. Some were very shy and others loved the attention. The later type didn't care as much about men following them unless it got too close. That was just before phone photos took off. Most of the guys who took pics were with cameras. That was 2003-05 before it ended. That was an interesting experience as some girls were very friendly.
