Can we stop with the politics
Agreed. No use bringing that all on here. I know that I mentioned it, but I specially said that it didn't make me cringe.
Also, for anyone who's reading this, give Katie Lee a break. I KNOW she doesn't make it easy at times, but she's really been through some s*** lately. She could honestly use our support. I don't agree with much of what she posts, but she's fundamentally a good person and an asset to our scene. Let her go off and maybe give her a positive comment from time to time.
Okay on the lighter side.. something that makes me cringe is girls posting the SAME EXACT THING WITH TINY VARIATIONS. This girl Maddi Pann should be right up my alley. Cute, fit, thicker muscular body, pretty feet, and loves showing them off.

But good lord she's made the same video with slightly different angles and different colors of the same outfit like 1000 times. She's good at getting engagement with reels, but the repetition is so monotonous that she lost me. I won't click on her content any more, and I'm like genetically predisposed to be ridiculously into her.

No one is bothering Katie Lee. She’s a grown adult who chooses to support a political affiliation that takes away rights from citizens. She seems like a nice person and yes she’s very attractive but her constant posts of political beliefs are the only things that’s being ridiculed. No need to white knight her. No one’s harassing her…

Okay, I'm just going to point something out and everyone can take it or leave it. I'll say this as someone who has spoken to and known a LOT of FBB's over the years.
Domestic violence and sexual assault is a common occurrence for them. In many cases, this is what inspires them to lift and build themselves up.
And you might think that they're growing muscles to fight back. But it doesn't work like that. Domestic violence is a mental game, and the muscles are more about maintaining control over ONE aspect of their life. The biggest girls on this site are just as vulnerable to an abusive partner as the smallest girls in a K-pop band. Maybe even more so.
There are certainly some girls out there with truly noxious beliefs. But I think some women - like Katie - have simply been through hell, and they grasp at fundamentalist religion and right wing tradition as a way to fit in.
It's certainly a boner killer and I get why you would hate it, but I want to present their side.

The "extensive data" I was talking about referred to the well-documented habit of eating cats in Haiti.

The idea is not to start with them in the first place. People were bound to speak out, seeing as nonsense was being posted unchallenged by people who seem to be under the impression that this is their political circlejerking echo chamber. Case in point:

Your argument is that being abused is an excuse to embrace and spread hateful rhetoric.
Ergo, it's not about the FBBs, but their own political hang-ups, which goes beyond the scope of this thread and is just bait for unwanted political discussion.

Is fascism politics? I think when you're openly supporting denying people the right to do what they want, that's beyond politics. It's one thing to identify individual politicians with whom you disagree, but another to promote a movement dedicated to advocating dictatorial powers for a specific group or ideology. The Taliban is not a political faction, nor is Project 2025.

Very well stated. I'd love to take some of this nonsense on myself, but you've done an eloquent job, and this thread is likely to get canned anyway. I'd bet half these puffed-up hate-filled posters don't even know Hati shares a border, let alone be able to put anything into historic context.

Your takes on the reason why bodybuilders adopt conservative views are so disorganized. At a previous response, your stance on why bodybuilders have these views were out of blue collar jobs or working class statuses. Now it is a by product of sexual assault and domestic violence. The fact of the matter is women in general experience these unfortunate acts more than they should and still hold progressive ideals.
Again I will say to you that you do not need to defend someone who is willing to spread rhetoric that is in support of taking away rights from people. If you like how they look, I understand that. I’ll admit that I’ve praised conservative bodybuilders for their hard work. You will not find me praising their ideology or even defending because I don’t agree with them.

It's not disorganized. There's a distinction here.
Most bodybuilders and fitness professionals are working class / blue collar / bachelors degree or less. Most conservatives are the same demographic. So of course these two things intersect.
However you have (1) being a conservative and skewing republican and (2) being a total online maniac who's constantly spewing conspiracy theories and waving flags and freaking out and posting evangelical rapture memes.
Many if not most professonal BB'ers - at least the white ones - fit in the first category. And that's totally fine.
Some professional BB'ers fit in the second. And that sucks. But when it's a woman fitting in the second, many times, in my experience, they are victims of past trauma or suffering from chronic mental health problems.
Some male bodybuilders are like this too, but I think that the incidence of this behavior amongst FBB's is higher because being an FBB is more extreme and counterculture compared to being an MBB. The personality required for an FBB is already pretty extra.

its a starving impoverished country. many people there eat whatever they can get their hands on, like you see in other starving impoverished places. the world simply does not fall into your government-sponsored ill-informed point of view, and your referencing a snopes fact checker website really drives that point home.
Shifting away from politics, Katie Lee used to post a lot of reels from BJJ competitions when she got into the sport, and it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. You could tell from her physique that she was still on the PEDs, and when she stepped on the mat you would see her practically dwarf her opponents at times. I get that in bodybuilding and strength sports, PEDs are pretty much the norm (and while there are tested and "natural" competitions, it's still an issue,) and I also get that PED use is prevalent in elite professional-level BJJ (look at Gordon Ryan, among others,) but to be on them in an amateur competition against other amateurs just feels wrong. You shouldn't have to feel like you need to take them at a local competition just to feel like you would have a fair chance, and I feel bad for her opponents who have trained hard naturally to go up against her with all the advantages of her drug use.

Big muscles does not directly equal fighting ability, but it’s not far to enter a local MMA match when you’re blasting half a Walgreens of gear
