Well then, I had one not so long ago.
Technically we still have that relationship, but she moved to another city, so we haven't seen each other for like half a year. She still sends me pictures and videos tho. Sometimes I ask for them, sometimes she offers it.
Our story is quite interesting, if you're willing to read it maybe I'll share it here.

Please do
8mg test c 1x/week for now
That's nothing. Absolutely nothing and totally pointless! Are you just making all this up? Doctors prescribe 1 sachet a week of 40.5mg testo to post-menopausal women as part of HRT. It doesn't cause and physical effects at all at that dose, so 8mg isn't going to do anything at all.

8mg subq was what was prescribed for her by her GP. Sachets are typically testogel - a different route of administration and not a fair comparison. Appreciate the concern, though.
To be honest, that is a SHOCKINGLY low dose. Men on TRT will usually inject 200mg per week just to stay "normal". I know of several women in our gym who are 60+ years old and their doctors prescribed 50mg a week administered via pellets. That's 6-7x her dose, and these women are taking it to combat post-menopausal symptoms, not to build muscle at all.
I really doubt she will see any gains as a result of this dose. It's not to say she won't have gains, but any gains she sees will be through her diet, heavy lifting, and dedication. I hope you are not paying a lot for this, because IMO it's kind of wasting money.

I hear you. I’m not an md, so not really my place to opine, but the dosage was prescribed after bloods, etc. with the idea that in 2-3 months they would test again and titrate as needed. By no means do I consider the internet a reliable source for this stuff, but that dosage was echoed by a number of other sources we’d found but only as a therapeutic dose (and not for the explicit purpose of being anabolic). That said, too low with little to no effect is preferable to unwanted virilization, so this approach seems okay for the time being. I know you’re a member who knows their stuff, so I trust what you’re saying and will discuss with her and the GP once the next round of labs are done. Rather than worry about dosages, I think it makes sense to monitor lab results (free test, SHBG, etc) and let those results dictate the course. Again, I do appreciate the concern and will keep you posted on outcomes. All of this is a learning lesson for us.
If it's for a therapeutic dose, and not for muscle gain, it may be enough (I'm not sure what symptoms she is trying to combat). I was under the impression it was for muscle growth. Good luck to you guys and please keep us informed. I'm actually quite intrigued to see if there any results from this dosage.
Nothing visible yet. It’s been almost four weeks - she complained of headaches for a few days early on, but that’s passed. Recently, she’s said her strength is way up in the gym, which was great to hear. I’ll post an update once there are more noticeable changes.
