Jody May.
One of my first crushes. She was so perfect to me. Everything about her body, her face, her attitude. I saw her compete in person once. I've been a fan forever.
Now, I don't immediately judge people on their politics. Especially bodybuilders, as they tend to skew opposite of me politically. That's okay. I can still find them to be hot and appreciate what they do.
So I rolled with her thin blue line shirts and her gun collections and her pick me behavior and her pics with MTG. That's all fine. It's her life and I'm happy she shares it with us. She could choose to post nothing.
But a few months back she posted a picture next to a dead giraffe. That she shot in South Africa. A giraffe. With the usual BS spiritual caption.
And she's dead to me. I even find her old photos disgusting now, and they were some of my favorites. I can't abide someone who would kill one of those incredible animals for sport

Well put. I couldn't agree more.
Lisa Cross and Wendy mcCready for refusing to get involved in the campain to put women bodybuilders back on the front covers and inside the bodybuilding magazines .. too late now all out of print
When they try to convince the gullible masses into believing their physiques are attainable naturally. Cringe? Nay, it's downright evil.
One. They turn a lot of women away from ever touching weights because they think they will look like them (sorry bodybuilders, the general population is not a fan of your look). Blame no more than the very same female bodybuilders when we wonder why weight lifting is so frowned upon among women and why there aren't more muscular women in society.
Two. They give severe body dysmorphia to the women who ARE fans of that bodybuilder look and they end up wondering if they're genetic failures for training so hard but not achieving even a tenth of what their favorite influencer looks like.
I cringe for these two reasons but also because they are so laughably deluded. I know most state natty because they need to compete, but some say so because they are gatekeepers and are ashamed they take steroids (nothing wrong at all in itself btw).
right there with you on that one .I could kick some bodybuilders right up the rear for that sort of thing

Let it go, dinosaur.
Just about everything Carolyne Marquez does online......the whole fake natty, "I'm not on roids, just SARMS" BS she pushes. I try not to click on her stuff to get her more traffic. just annoying.
well said Paula bircumshaw all over again that took her 30 years to finally admit she was on steroids . at her height she claimed it was all hard work . even then she even moaned about the cost of them
Just remembered, when girls take selfie photos in public bathrooms. Even worse when they take selfies in their own bathrooms or bedroom and the place looks like a tornado hit it. Its like girl doesnt clean up after herself. Gives more meaning to the expression, "hot mess".
ban the selfie would have thought these women would have not problem finding some one to take photos of them ..
honestly who takes a photo with the bathroom in the back ground
my final two ..
Kimberly anne Jones after she refused to sell me any anabolic steroids in 1994 . I could have been some one by now
Betty Pariso she stuck her tongue out for the entire length of her posing routine at a contest
Just because someone won't sell you steroids makes them cringe?
Note the pattern - he can't get steroids, photos or support out of any female he's singled out. And they're the problem.
Just because someone won't sell you steroids makes them cringe?
Gloriously unhinged
Religion is a spectrum and I don't follow her. more hard core Christian don't like her being muscular and posting pics with her not wearing many clothes. but in the last decades it's not a big deal.
I hate this about Alyssa Keissling she’s the biggest offender, like yeah you’re all of a sudden into God in some posts, but at the same time isn’t she a lesbian, posting pics of her smoking weed? She has this whole little man vibe but as a female bodybuilder.
Sarah Villegas. When she lost to Natalia Coelho, she made up a story that Natalia was using burner accounts on Instagram to talk smack about her which was clearly a stretch. Also remember when she called out Shanique and was angling for her to come out of retirement and put her Olympia title on the line? She has an incredible physique but the things she says makes me cringe
I think that some FBBs and fitness athletes/influencers forget about the advantages that their circumstances have that allows them to maintain being in top physical shape. If not just genetics or an athletic background, a lot of them are clearly well-off (they have nice home gyms, are clearly well-off financially, have a working arrangement that gives them plenty of time to train, etc.) That's not a bad thing, but where it becomes bad is when they make posts looking down on others for not being as physically fit as them.
For example, I remember stumbling into a pro bikini (or maybe figure) competitor who posted a story on her page talking about an experience she had at the pool at a resort she was staying at while on vacation. She pointed out that she saw fatter, "unfit" children, and basically criticized their parents for letting them be out of shape and talked about things like "values". It came across as very tone deaf, and she tried defending it after getting a lot of backlash and that also came off as very cringey.
Admittedly, and with shame I say this, I came off like this when I went from being fat to getting in shape. But it took a lot of self-reflection (like how I had a job that let me afford a Crossfit membership, good coaches, a home with space to build a garage gym, etc) to realize that I had privileges that allowed me to get in shape. That woman basically talked down on people who were literally just enjoying their lives and it felt like she was doing that to build herself up.
And finally, I have no issues with PED use at all, and whether you choose to take them or not is your business. But if you are someone who takes them (like her,) you can't look down on people who you deem "unfit" and claim that they don't care about the health, because when you decide to go on PEDs, it's not longer about training for "health."
Shitting on others for clout is pretty much the worst. It's such a narcissistic quality that kills the image for me. She could have the greatest body I've ever seen, but if I know her personality is toxic, then I want nothing to do with her. And that goes for anyone I meet in real life as well.
It’s one thing to give “tough love” or honest criticism in certain scenarios. Like ,if someone complains about how heavy they are but they continue to eat junk and don’t do any physical activity, it’s not unkind to mention that that is the reason they are in the state they are (assuming they are asking for advice.) Or if they perform poorly at a race/competition/meet when their training or recovery was subpar. But in that scenario, she was talking shit about people who were literally just minding their own business and enjoying their day.
And she isn’t the only bodybuilder/influencer I have seen doing that.
I definitely agree that it is cringe that bodybuilder/fitness chick/influencer thinks so highly of themselves that they think they can put someone down or judge them simply because some of their fanbase will cheer them on.
And something else that has always irked me was how some of the ladies on here / IG / etc. use their sexuality to market themselves then get upset when someone calls them out on it or say they don't care how people feel about them (when how people feel is the reason that you're famous).
When they think they are a spiritual guru because they have muscles!
talking of so called bodybuilding guru s one sent me to middlesbrough to see some supposed heap big bodybuilding Guru master
what a waste of a perfectly good day out that was
if you want to achieve muscle growth to see that bodybuilder master she said ,what a great big bag of wind that was
This is a bit nitpicky and I usually try not to complain but whenever I see Amazonka put up a video flexing I almost roll my eyes. I can get past the big lips and bolt ons but everytime she posts a video flexing she's just looking at the camera with the same stare for 30 seconds to a minute flexing one bicep like a gif. No emotion, no variety
I didn't see that but I could imagine the look of discomfort on your face upon seeing the post!
