If you're on Android, NewPipe has a download option but you have to get it from F-Droid since unofficial YouTube clients are verboten in the Play Store (it blocks YouTube's ads too, but no support for Sponsor Block yet).

On a Laptop yt-dlp works the best.

just google YouTube downloader but its more annoying on mobile because a lot of these sites want you to download a bullshit app that you don't need. so set your browser to desktop mode or keep looking for one that just works
