If you see a fellow competitor or friend achieve results with someone, it's likely you'd consider also working with that same trainer if yours have previously not been to your satisfaction. I recall some negativity about his approach from some at one stage but overall the good experiences/placings seem to outweigh that.
I always thought it was a bit strange to be a male trainer who specializes in training females. Shelby Starnes is another one, and he became mired in controversy since several of his female clients ended up dying from simply following programs he laid out for them.
Same with Branden Ray. I think that all the major FBB coaches are men.
And for anyone who doesn't know, an FBB coach is largely an unlicensed pharmacist and endocrinologist to the competitor. Their main job is to manage their PED's and diet. Lesser extent their training regimen.
I swear just about every jacked girl tags him in their posts/progress pics! Amandine Kolly, Paula Ranta, Ava Melilo, just a few off the top of my head. Is he the industry's best coach? Does he have special knowledge on steroids and cycling? What makes him so popular with the FBBs?
