A transwoman IS a biological male, but I don't necessarily see that as disqualifying. I recall there were passing transwomen posted on here that got a bunch of up-votes, and then users were disgusted (probably with themselves) upon learning they were attracted to women with Y chromosomes. I'd prefer a filter, but that also goes for women who have gone too far in terms of steroid abuse.

Woman =/= Female
Gender and sex are not the same thing. Sorry, science supports this being the case. Stay mad.
Social science on a liberal arts campus, maybe, but not the science that counts (and gets willfully ignored by trans ideologues). Gender as a social construct is just one of its definitions, the other popular one being a synonym for one's biological sex. Overzealous activists distinguish and conflate the two whenever it suits them.

We don't see FTMs here (which would still qualify as a GWM!), so why should we see an MTF (which definitely doesn't qualify as a GWM!)

They're afraid to say "a trans woman is a trans woman" because THEY equate trans with "less than".
If they honestly and truly believed what they doggedly claim, they would say "a trans woman is a trans woman, and her pronouns are she/her", because they would be sincere in their beliefs about a trans woman's worth.
But rather than acknowledge and examine their own soft bigotry and insincerity, they instead try to cancel/silence those who disagree as "transphobic", even if all many of us ever said is: "Biological males should not compete against biological females in competitive*, sex-segregated sports."
I'm here for Girls With Muscle and until they change their minds, female women and girls are the ones who get to decide who is in THEIR club. There is a section on this site for Transwomen and I think it's great that you have a safe space all your own. It's a credit to the Administrator and Mods that they've chosen to be inclusive and are doing so in a way that does not impact any other person's enjoyment of the site.
*competitive = non-recreational, meaning there is something of significance at stake

I would not be surprised if a majority of people are OK with biological males competing against biological females. It's pretty simple. You have two divisions: Open and Female. If biological females opt to compete in the Open division, great. As far as elite athletics in mature sports go, there's a good chance exactly zero females will be able to make the cutoff, but they can try. Biological males are not allowed to compete in the female division regardless of gender identity. This has been fun.
Being trans is obviously a legitimate thing and we should recognize and respect that. However, this discussion isn't about what rights trans people should have or how they should be treated, it's about where we should have their pictures on our site. This doesn't affect them, so only what we want should matter. And I think the current system is pretty clearly the best: most people don't want to see trans women, so keep them off the main site and unsearchable. For those who do want to see them, have a specific forum section they can go to for that. And everyone should be happy! No need to change anything imo.

Trans people believing what they will about themselves is somewhat permissible IMO. But athletic bodies permitting biological men to compete in women's sports? That's a degeneration in fairness and basic logic. School bodies permitting adults to approach children regarding their "gender identity" and sexuality, including trans ideology as something factual, and at times without parental knowledge? That's a degeneration in education, child safety, parental rights, and basic decency at the least!
So trans people may not be the cause but they've definitely been involved directly and indirectly (thanks to left-leaners and spineless moderates). Thankfully there have been trans folk like Blair White and Buck Angel voicing their disapproval of these goings-on, though they face rebuke from "the community" as a result.

The poll is overall pretty good. I would have preferred if it had focused solely on trans in the context of GWM and left off political justifications like "trans women are women"; I think that distracts from the poll and possibly muddies the results. That said, I am not surprised by the results.

I hear this a lot.
So, I live in Los Angeles, which is a pretty huge and diverse metro area. Big LGBT community here. I'm a single guy and I'm f--ing thirsty. I like men and women. I use Tinder, Bumble, and Grindr. I'm not necessarily attracted to trans women, but if one of the really muscular ones were in my bed, I wouldn't kick them out.
I'll say that in my years of active use, I've never once gotten a match from a trans woman on any of the mainstream apps. I've never been catfished by one. Never been accused of being a transphobe for not being into them.
On Grindr, I've seen a few. They're a tiny minority compared to the overwhelming majority of gay guys (obviously). Again, I don't click on them and it's not a problem. No one screams through my phone and calls me a bigot. And if you're straight but browsing Grindr... well you've got deeper confusion issues than fapping to the image of a trans woman with great biceps.
Trans women are a tiny group in number, and the ones who might be in the dating pool are so small that it's like a rounding error. The idea that some hetero guy in a hetero space is going to be bullied for not wanting a trans girlfriend is just ridiculous. This stuff literally never happens.
