"Why was this pic deleted?"

Why has this been deleted for nudity? It was on Instagram and they aren’t naked?

Well, maybe if you put your glasses on you would see that the 'items' they are wearing are almost transparent. Obvious even to a casual observer.

You have to ask them that. Probably because it's bypassed their automatic moderation scan for now and no one manually flagged it.

I'm not super familiar with Instagram even though I have an inactive account. My thought is that someone needs to report inappropriate pictures. See comment above by PP1000.

Whether a pic gets removed on instagram or not has no bearing on what we do here, so the above argument seems pretty pointless.

I do agree that one should be kept, but I don't see it under your recent deletions.

I recently uploaded a number of Herbiceps free previews, and the last one was deleted with this notification: "Your upload below has been deleted: You're getting a bit carried away with these. Just because herbiceps has been "whitelisted" this does not mean that we are encouraging users to mass upload their previews."

I'm not fighting it, I was just wondering why this is? I mean, it surely adds value to this site, and it's good publicity for HB so they're probably happy with it too (as I always post the link to the full video in the first comment).

I just think it's a shame when so much good content is excluded from this site.

If it is a free promotional photo or video, then you need to indicate the public (non-paywalled) HerBiceps page you got it from, under the content. Without that information we need to go with the assumption it is private content. Do note we may still may reject the image for other reasons, but this does increase the chances it will stay.

We take that approach since we need to respect all monetised content, to keep the source sites happy and avoid any issues. Also note some sites don’t even want their non-paywalled content shared outside of sites they control or sites that provide them direct control of their content.

I added the link to the free clip on the herbiceps site every time so I believe that can't be the reason. But I'll stop uploading them if it's not wanted.

Not sure what tamarok is talking about, that wasn't my removal, but the note was pretty clear and looking at your recent uploads it's easy to see why. This intention isn't for GWM to be a mirror of every free clip HerBiceps puts up (people can just go to herbiceps.com for that!), and you tried to upload over a dozen of them in the last day.

I restored a couple of the more popular ones, since I don't think we needed to remove quite that many and you did link to the full videos in the comments, but I would just be more selective and only upload an occasional one you really like.

As a long time paying member of Her Biceps; since around 2002 or '03; I don't mind seeing an occasional short clip or photo here on GwM. But I do get irritated when I see so much of the stuff I'm paying for; in a different way; get uploaded.

Yes, HB stuff does add some value to GwM. But it really is "low hanging fruit," so to speak. In the last few months, I've commented on a number of uploads; "photo (clip) courtesy of Her Biceps;" when the uploader either didn't know they should be identified as such. Or was just plain lazy; like I said, low hanging fruit. Maybe uploaders need to work harder in finding good stuff.

More selective? This is the issue though, I don't upload that often , compared to some. Not long ago, I uploaded a single free pic with source cited from Premium Physiques. There are still many free pics still already up from that site being allowed with source links. After a week or so it was removed with the message that the mod had basically cited another Mod to say that NO free pics from paysite sources were ever allowed, even with source cited! I can understand a flood by a member being reduced, at least the message they were sent implied that, but there is a lack of consistency and clarity in policy when Mods say one thing on threads and another thing categorically in messaging as the reason for deleting pics. Of course, these deletion messages auto self destruct so I cannot screen cap it now to show what was said to me and by whom.
