I am not naming names but when fbbs post random family videos on their main profile right after they posted something seductive. so sometimes I look at my subscriptions on YouTube and I am like what the heck are these kids doing here. and I am about to hit unsub but then I realize that it was uploaded by one of my favorite fbbs.
or another thing is that a lot of water melon crushing videos are ruined by the most shitty music imaginable. and then a dog jumps in front of the the camera and twerks his ass and tries to eat the melon or random kids show up. and I watch most stuff on mute because the music in most of the videos is so bad how can people even enjoy it. sometimes it looks like she is talking but you find out it's just ear rape music. or when it's a water melon crushing video the sound makes it hotter but it's often ruined by the random high pitch sounds that is supposed to be music. sometimes I miss out on videos with nice seductive audio because I don't really give videos a chance anymore and watch everything on mute. and I also don't really like how they chase the latest fads but that is something most people do.
When they try to convince the gullible masses into believing their physiques are attainable naturally. Cringe? Nay, it's downright evil.
One. They turn a lot of women away from ever touching weights because they think they will look like them (sorry bodybuilders, the general population is not a fan of your look). Blame no more than the very same female bodybuilders when we wonder why weight lifting is so frowned upon among women and why there aren't more muscular women in society.
Two. They give severe body dysmorphia to the women who ARE fans of that bodybuilder look and they end up wondering if they're genetic failures for training so hard but not achieving even a tenth of what their favorite influencer looks like.
I cringe for these two reasons but also because they are so laughably deluded. I know most state natty because they need to compete, but some say so because they are gatekeepers and are ashamed they take steroids (nothing wrong at all in itself btw).
This is less about FBB's in general and more about YouTube video channels and and their content. I hate YouTube video compilations that include unnecessary narration (in my case, usually it involves Hindi narrators talking over the compilation videos - not that I have an issue with Indian people - as well as AI narration.
Usually, these kinds of videos go over generic surface-level information about the FBB in question & it usually includes some corny motivational talk you would get from a Tiktok edit or some shit like that.
Buddy, I came to the video to admire the FBB (and to jack off to her), if I wanted to know anything about this FBB, Saradas can do that for me.
I started learning Hindi and I hoped that I would be able to figure out if these videos said anything useful. but it makes even less sense now and other Indians think it's weird too. I heard being sexually aroused temporarily lowers your iq causing people to make retarded videos and comments that they forget about.
I cringe very hard when I see bodybuilders and/or fitness influencers attempt to write something profound or inspirational under a picture that is clearly meant to be a thirst trap or to show off their physique. I'm all for showing off your body if you're proud of how you look but for fuck's sake you don't need the excuse of posting a "motivational" or whatever caption when you do it: just post the pic! At least it's better than, say, someone who mentions a tragic event(s) under their thirst trap like Dani Speegle during the Maui wildfires.
The other is when they try to act like they are being "body positive" in saying things like "we all have rolls/stretch marks!" and they'll post a picture of them scrunched up a bit on a chair or whatever showing off a little fold on their stomach. It comes across as very patronizing and kind of tone-deaf. I get that there is a point when managing our body image is our responsibility, but shit like that is why social media is so damaging to how people view their own bodies even if they are pretty fit themselves (that and the fake natties that were mentioned in earlier comments).
Any FBB who swears off social media after getting unwanted attention online. Look I'm sorry. It's very true that nobody deserves to get harassed. But what they hell do you think is coming when you post provocative vids and pics of yourself online? And no, an alias or stage name isn't going to protect you in the long run. You'd figure this kind of naivete wouldn't exist in this social media age. Bodybuilding or no bodybuilding, the weirdos are coming. Not saying you can't be annoyed/mad about it. Just don't pretend like you didn't know it was coming.
I agree with the spiritual/religious posts. They post "God first ✝️" and then a picture of them doing a risque photoshoot where you can literally see their nipples through the fishnet fabric. Adding to that, you're also doing steroids which goes against that belief of "God first". There's one girl I follow who just got super popular and it's literally IG stories of her Bible notes. No offense, nobody cares and you're not an "inspiration" to people. You're a juiced up freak who men fetishize.
I don't think "cringe" is how I feel exactly.. but I never really like it when competitive bodybuilders dance during their posing routines. And I understand a lot of them are skilled dancers, and may have cheerleading or gymnastics backgrounds.. so it's a good forum for them to showcase dance skills..
But I prefer it when they sternly and deliberately flex their giant muscles on stage. In my mind, (and fantasy) it fits their aesthetic/persona better.. But I know this is just a subjective take.

A particular fbb whose name most of you probably know has a few IG posts that involve her wearing vulva padding in her shorts that makes her look like she has an enlarged "camel toe". If you follow her you've probably seen these posts. I used to think the Freudian concept of penis envy was nonsense, but if you're trying so hard to compete with a dick bulge (looking tacky in the process)... well, maybe there's something to it.
Last fall I was driving back to Los Angeles on I-10 from Phoenix,AZ. I saw a big lifted pick-up truck with the owners name, some competition accomplishments, IG address and other stuff wrapped or painted all over the truck. It was like those trucks or vans that are promoting their own business on them, highly stylized, gaudy and loud marketing.That was one of the cringiest things ive ever seen, not just bodybuilding related. Even so, I still forget her name. haha
Just about everything Carolyne Marquez does online......the whole fake natty, "I'm not on roids, just SARMS" BS she pushes. I try not to click on her stuff to get her more traffic. just annoying.
And Dana Linn Bailey’s constant “I’m not on steroids I just work harder than everybody else!” One, lying about being natty is shitty, and two, talking down on everybody else (including people who work just as hard as her but don’t look like her) is even worse.
You can talk about cringe moments you have seen from female muscle women at any social media...
