Is the sport becoming too sexualized?

I mean if your someone that actually had to even ask yourself the OP original question I would say the arrival of the Wellness Division put all doubts to rest. A division where one of the mandatory poses is to turn around, arch your back, and poke your butt out. If anything, in this day and age, I'm surprised there hasn't been more backlash from it.

I feel like there's always been a tug of war between the women who want bodybuilding to be less sexualized and those who're happy with it being sexualized, and I think it usually favors the non-sexual end. I also remember reading someone, I'm not sure who (might've been Debbie Lazewski) who complained that only Iris Kyle made enough money purely from bodybuilding to make a career out of it, and literally everyone else had to do fetish work to pay the bills, which then looped around where the fetish work got held against them and Iris kept winning Ms Olympia.
