Wnba? Yea probably no offense but women's basketball is a little underwhelming. this woman looks more attractive and muscular than most. I think the true potential of female basketball players hasn't been achieved. like early female tennis players were quite weak but as the sport got more mainstream the modern female tennis players are very muscular. And blow the old ones out of the water. maybe this can happen to women's basketball too

"They" never tried leveraging sex appeal in the marketing for women's basketball before. That's changed now. They've got the star power of Caitlin combined with the sexiness of Angel and Cameron creating something that never existed before. There have been a few good-looking women in the league in the past, but the moment wasn't ready for them. It's here now and I think I'm going to be interested in buying whatever Kelsey is selling.
Theoretically you would think pushing the hottest women and the best players would do it but the demos are so messed up.
The biggest obstacle to the game right now is game flow and excitement. And layups aren’t exciting. The new brand of players influenced by a decade of dudes shooting threes from the logo is helpful but the league isn’t big enough and there isn’t enough parity to prevent constant blowouts.
The biggest factor I think for the game is lowering the net a foot so the omen can dunk.
I know a lot of people say”oh this woman or this woman can dunk” there have been a handful of legit dunks in the entire WNBA history. Britney Griner couldn’t do it in controlled conditions with multiple attempts. Make it a more high flying affair and the biggest sports audience—men—willl be more likely to watch
I’m one of the guys that hadn’t watched women’s ball ever really but now for two years I’ve been watching NCAAW at the highest level and it’s entertaining. It wasn’t entertaining when your home team is scoring 10 points in the first quarter.
After that personalities will follow but I don’t think league drama and looks can carry the W without improvements on the court.
