Huge Women popping up out of no where

Does anyone feel like there are quite large muscular women popping out of no where these days? Not just toned and ripped, but genuine mass monsters. I see a new one on instagram almost every day.

I think that before the internet these women just got no exposure and lived simple lives unaware of how many people were attracted to their muscles

You see a new one on instagram because that’s what the algorithm does. It reads what you’re into and floods your feed with that content.

Just ask yourself: does what you see online reflect what you encounter away from your computer and phone? Fit women of any age are relatively uncommon, and muscular women (muscular in the sense that they would appear here) are even rarer on top of that.

I get it: we all are into buff women and want to see more of them. But I also feel like some here don’t understand that social media isn’t the real world.

Bingo. I tried to say this in another post about people in here thinking athletic women (like a pro soccer player or something) had no muscle, when in reality they’re WAY more muscular than the average woman. I love the mass monsters but i definitely understand that in the real world, next to nobody has bodies like that. Too many people on this site legitimately think if a woman isn’t a pro fbb, they have no muscle. Which gets to your point…we basically put ourselves on these sites and see the type of woman we want to see.

People want to say it's the algorithm but I see way more muscular women these days in the gym than I was before. It's definitely spreading.

I agree. I'm from Turkey and Turkey was a wasteland in case of muscular women, but 10-20 of them popped out of nowhere last and this year...

Depends on where you live too. NYC, big cites in FL or TX? Maybe. But I agree that it has more to do with the echo chamber we live in here than what is really happening. The OP said, "huge women" Even today, the average woman does not want to get huge. I'm sure any women we see IRL are more toward the "fit" or "in good shape" category. But how many women IRL are "bulging?" Broad rounded shoulders, noticeable biceps, and big quads or calves? Not many, even in the gyms. I work in an area that is fairly open to the public and I don't see women with a lot of general fitness let alone a lot of "bulging." (Not for lack of looking either). Even on the internet its enough of a crap shoot outside of sites like this to find a fit woman let alone a hardcore bodybuilder. Ever go to a webcam site and have to wade through all the women who call themselves "muscular" just to fine some overweight or skinny women. Or worst of all, the ones who are not women at all. ::surpressed barfing noises::: It is the same as it has always been. And if you are seeing women who really lift and you can tell just by looking at them, enjoy your time in whatever parallel dimension you currently inhabit. 😁😁😁

Being from a blue-collar town where many women acquired muscles as well as paychecks at the auto plants, I've seen and worked with muscular women all my life (also had the great fortune to marry one). Almost none, of course, would qualify for this website because their overall physiques were uneven, but they had biceps that bulged.

But you're fooling yourself if you think we've entered a new golden age of women's bodybuilding. For a reality check, go to NPC News Online and check out the contest pictures. Most competitions don't even have a women's bodybuilding or physique division, and those that do have only one or two participants. (The categories are based on the entrants' preferences; most contests accommodate women who want to compete in bodybuilding or physique even if only one does.) What's worse is the NPC pix show that many of the competitors in the smaller shows have no business being on stage. I admire their grit and courage to compete, but I've seen better bodies IRL.
