> > But the copyright for a photo lies with the photographer, not the model, unless it is on behalf of an agency due to any previous contractual arrangement. So they will have no right to demand removal of ALL images of their client, their client (the model) has no right to demand that legally. You may well decide to remove models to avoid conflict or ambiguity but Onlyfans have no jurisdiction over images produced by other sources. Any takedown should specify which images are relevant and why. > Also, just because a model posts something on their Instagram etc, doesn't mean they have the right to do so, though most photographers allow it in small samples for promotion, and want to keep good relations with models.

You are right but that would leave it to me to sort out which is which, which I am not able to do.

Well they only need to specify the urls of the disputed images, which is what eg Google act on , and prevents a spurious " we want everything taken down" pseudo-legal order. though I quite understand you wouldn't necessarily want get too involved in these disputes and it's less time consuming to just remove the model entirely.

Buff Blondy's blacklisting was before she became a model on HB, and was probably her first exposure to female muscle fans... since then she seems to have embraced it a bit more, so if someone is in contact with her it may be worth asking if she is now OK with her pics here.

Is this the official page for this site? If so Buff Blondy is following it. It's better if they contacted her. https://www.instagram.com/girlswitthmuscles?i...

I will ask

Hulda Lopez, Pat Gosselin, and Stefana Sandu are the ones that come immediately to mind, doubtless there are others. Hulda has also taken down most of her footage from socials.

No, GWM doesn't have social media.

She still does not want to be on the site

There's a catch 22 .

They seek to only maximise the traffic to their own instagrams etc so they probably see this site -if they know of it - as diluting that traffic away (viewing their best or latest pics and basically often a copy of their best social media content) and GWM doesn't link to their social sites anyway so doesn't draw direct traffic to their personal sites. But even if GWM did link to their personal sites, more would probably then know of this site and might withdraw their pics and join the blacklist.

The flip side of that is I have followed a number of women I first discoverered here on IG.

It's a shame. GWM is basically an advertising/publicity/marketing board for these models. It does nothing but raise their social media profiles and if they have a product to sell it will direct more people/customers towards them. Obviously it is a personal decision and not everyone wants to raise their social media profile or sell something. A wise person once said that 'any attention is good attention', in the context of publicity/advertising. Good or bad it raises your profile and directs more people towards whatever it is you are doing. People like Donald Trump thrive off negative publicity. This is a very well moderated site with no nudity etc... I don't get why any models would want to remove themselves. I suspect many who have done so likely have not thought it through very well or think this site is profiting from their content in some way without reviewing or assessing how the site is run. I am always glad to see some come back as well. I won't name them here in case they change their mind again! šŸ˜‰

You know in the past I wouldn't care if they were blacklisted because their pics would be on other sites too. but the internet is shrinking so now they are either here or on Instagram or TikTok or they are lost forever. and Instagram tends to ban like 50% of their users every year so this is an issue too. it also says a lot about their mindset. I think a lot of people that were either born before 1980 or after 2000 don't really understand the internet. and think it's just a few apps and everything else is a scam. they probably think we are spreading malware or something.

Because they don't know anything about the site, except by discovering the site exists either by Google search or someone tagging them in a post urging them to remove their images.

What they don't know is that we strive to put names to as many images as we can and provide social media links. This would be unlike the hundreds of other Reddit or Tumblr-type subgroups, or thousands of accounts within IG Twitter & Facebook that repost their images without bothering to provide names.

Ideally every image would have a name, but this is a work over time. I think GWM has improved massively over the last few years, as a result of the collective work of our uploaders, diligent users, mods and site owner (Chainer).

Prob many of them wouldnā€™t mind if we gave credit but we do. in my eyes how is it different from and IG account focused on female muscle posting and tagging them. Half of them donā€™t even tag the people they find too.

I think the argument that being on this site is just "free advertising" and there's no rational reason they wouldn't want it is kind of deliberately missing the point. This is a fetish website. Everyone knows why these images are compiled, everyone (who has signed up, at least) sees the comments. It's their prerogative if they're comfortable with their images being hosted on this website specifically, and considering the website has a good record of respecting women's wishes should they choose to not be on here, I think that's a good thing.

Even if they can't control where their images go once they're public - and, I will note, I've seen women specifically note that their issue is other people who are NOT the subjects of what is posted on here being included being where they draw the line - they CAN and SHOULD BE ABLE TO decide if they go here.

When I was going through some stuff at my parents place I went through some photo albums. Old stuff from the 60s. Kinda shocked me at that moment that people post way too much of that stuff on socials. Iā€™m actually in agreement with the one that drew the line of them or ā€œlook at meā€ kind of photos being the subject. Except that socials are every much an exercise of ā€œlook at meā€ which makes it hard to parse. Which is why I, myself, rarely if ever post about my family.

This is a fetish website.

I don't think it's so clear cut. There's such a wide range of looks and preferences here, perhaps you could only really say it's for people who appreciate female sporty/fitness/bodybuilding aesthetics. Most of the models post images of themselves openly in order to elicit appreciation, recognition, reward etc... The people who use this site are those who do appreciate and recognise the beauty of the physiques that they work so hard to create. It is certainly becoming more accepted and mainstream now and as such perhaps less fetishistic, although that does certainly still exist. Perhaps more akin to a boob or bum fetish which are much more common and accepted. There are lots of nuances to it from people who like a slimmer more buxom look to those who like extreme size, and everything in between. To say it's just a 'fetish site' is reductionist of the range of views and preferences here.

Thereā€™s way too many weirdos on here who wait till a girl is having her 18th to post their images or ask stuff in their DMs or comments like ā€œI want you to crush my head in your legsā€. And then act dumbfounded as to why some want their images removed from here

You're being really liberal with your definition of "attention" there if you're condoning harassing people who were minors days prior, cmon. You can't expect 18 year olds to assume and understand that everything they post is going to be lusted over by a bunch of adults.
