Old responsive website

Ok guys i just wanna say that i'd prefer the old website layout when you could see 3 columns on your cellphone not like the new decoration which shows only 2 columns.

Let's vote to see if the developers would change it back!

I cant decide yet

They did add a lot of good stuff recently. compared to more mainstream sites that keep getting worse. like Instagram or YouTube.

I'm no expert but does it not depend on how your phone renders the site? Based on browser version/screen resolution? When I changed phones some sites show slightly differently in their layout. But in desktop mode it's the same.

I didn't have a smart phone until relatively recently. but most old sites look like ass on a phone. because they were made for desktop only so you have to zoom in because the icons are too small. but i tried to load up the site on my Nintendo ds back in 2010. and it worked but "high res" pics wouldn't load and sometimes an add showed up blocking my view. so I went to even more basic sites like Diana the valkereie (I still can't spell it) or leg town (rip)

I agree with Yotv's point that the older version did appear to be filled with tiny images and one was inclined to zoom to better see things. Now the images are larger (on a phone) and I can put away my scanning electron microscope.

Yes i have It works but as i said the old look was better imo

I thought about that but didn't bother as I am busy and generally don't spend time fiddling with settings. Of course, I actually prefer the new setup so why mess with a good thing.

If you are using a phone and not enough thumbnails are appearing per row... what phone are you using? are you holding it vertically or horizontally? And what is your screen width in pixels?

Ok it's a 6.4 inch android and i hold it vertically

I need to know the screen width in pixels to change how the site looks at that width, which I can probably look up if I know the model of phone.

I liked the new layout with bigger thumbnails a lot. It is much easier to browse the pics and choose which ones are interesting enough for me to open and see in more detail.

Oh well. Now it is back to the old layout with three columns. Ok 🙂
