I can't subscribe to (tipsyblondeballerina)

The subscribe button is not there its still there for others.

There is also no link to send in a name change request. Any attempts to remove the parentheses manually result in failure, as they are automatically reapplied once the name is saved.

This is not a response to the OP, but is meant to be "in addition to" for Chainer to see.

You need to click "Exact Only" in the upper left.
