I haven't had to read all 6 pages of responses, but I'll ask the OP if they really want a Bodybuilder. I have no experience with them, but from what I learned be prepared for their lifestyle. A muscular girl is so much easier to relate to(not to say they are common) because not all muscular women compete. For one, they have other hobbies and may not be as strict about their schedules. These types of girls can be anything from MILFs, athletes, to girl next doors. Where I live there is a strong amount of muscular girls. I live in a higher income neighborhood so that might help me, but I usually approach them and mention how impressed I am by their physique and then move on. I compliment them on their muscles and move away from that subject as soon as I can because women can sense creepy behavior so you don't want to display that. Your best bet for female bodybuilders will always be the gym and competitions. For your everyday muscular girl, can be anywhere, but more likely any fit hobby you can think of. Good luck!
First; you have to be of the same ilk, have weight lifting in common. Next, you'll meet them in gym working out, then you'll need to be working out nearby. You could ask what kind of workout they are doing to a certain body part and ask them to show you so you can do it. If they are friendly, you're on first base. If they blow you off, you've struck out but at least the attempt was sincere.
This thread pops up every week.
Hate to sound like broken record but Whole Foods is your best bet outside the gym and fitness expos.
I think you'll find more hippies than bodybuilders at Whole Foods. Bodybuilders usually buy their food in bulk at places like Sam's. Buying the amount of food they do at Whole Foods is going to be ridiculously expensive.
My advice, it's 2023, just slide in their DMs.

Might be an LA thing, but Whole foods is honestly my #2 spot for seeing really muscular and fit women (not all FBB's admittedly) after the gym.
I almost never see them at Sams. I see plenty of people who are the exact opposite of really muscular and fit there.

Definitely an LA thing. I have a Whole Foods by my place, and I've never seen anything remotely close to a fit woman there.
Well I work out, and aiming to get much fitter...but I love and want a girl like Natalia Trukhina...for example...I love her build and beauty...

I feel like that’s gonna be extremely difficult because there aren’t a lot of women like her in this world. If you want to ask a muscular woman out I feel you gotta stick with what you get lol. You mentioned going to a CrossFit gym (which I’ve already talked about before on this thread) so they’re most likely not (if at all) gonna have the same physique as Natalia

just reiterating that although health and fitness is a fad thing in LA and there are def fit girls around, they are likely not in LA propert and like int he valley or east LA or really not in LA

Sure... I can specify that this was the Westside. Venice, Santa Monica, etc. Lots of fit girls in the Southbay too.
wish i saw them walking in santa monica more often :(
I mean if you're in Santa Monica, you're so close to Golds Venice. Get a membership? You can even just do a day pass. It's rare that I go in the daytime and DON'T see an FBB.
And look... I'm crazy about female bodybuilders. Really. I think about them all the time, I go on this site all of the time.
I see them at my gym all of the time. And I have the privilege of chatting with them all of the time. Sadly, I'm not sleeping with them all of the time. But I have slept with them. Quite a few actually. So here is my advice...
I think that the biggest mistake that guys make is getting themselves insanely psyched up before talking to a girl into fitness. Like you've built it up in your head and stressed about it and now you're gonna walk up to her and shoot your shot and this is your one chance and you're like Eminem in "8 Mile" and she's either gonna reject you forever or fall in love with you on the spot.
And it doesn't have to be like that. If you're into these women, then it's nice to talk to them even if it DOESN'T lead to true love or some kind of one-night stand. Remove all the stress and expectations and suddenly it's easy.
Walk up to fit girl. "Hi there, I'm sorry to disturb you but your biceps are amazing! I want to get mine like that someday!" Big grin and smile.
She's gonna say thank you. If she goes back to what she's doing, then walk away and know that you gave her a nice compliment which might have made her day.
Maybe she chats with you a bit. Maybe you see her more in the future and she chats more. Not everything has to ride on a single experience, and getting a reputation for being a friendly, easy going guy who enjoys the gym and is free with compliments is a good reputation to have.
Oh and to anyone who thinks there's going to meet and start a relationship with an FBB WITHOUT being fairly seriously into fitness themselves.... think again. It's really and truly not happening. Just save up for sessions and call it a day.

An approach like this has steered me wrong only once. I sat next to this girl on the subway and she was truly hench. Broad shoulders, bulging biceps, she was built like maybe one of the bigger CrossFit girls. I complimented her physique and she thanked me, then I asked her how, and for what, she trained. And she got weirdly offended! She told me that assuming she works out because of her physique is like assuming a thin woman is anorexic just because she's thin. She said she didn't lift weights at all and that her physique was due exclusively to highly unusual genetics.
Never saw her again, but I'm still curious what her story is. Was she telling the truth? If so, what kind of genetic condition would cause her to have a physique like that? Not even Sally Massagee, a woman with a rare condition that caused her muscles to grow out of control (not a good thing actually) looked like her.
careful what you wish for. I dated one for sometime. She was lean but very muscular. The looks in restaurants was a little too much, people would point and we both felt uncomfortable. Then there's the other bit - family and friends? Messed up my head and I was prepared to go there. So it never really progressed into a long term relationship. Sure 100% it's my life, but the stigma in the UK lives long, perhaps less so in other parts of the world?
Thankfully we are still friends and connect from time to time.
I live in the south bay...There are fit girls here walking around, in the gym etc. There is a blonde muscular girl at the LA Fitness I go to (who also does crossfit) that has 2 kids and owns an insurance business that I see and sometimes talk to.
I don't think the health and fitness is a fad it is just that the media pushes that LA residents are fat and unhealthy because they say there is too many fast food restaurants. They push the healthy eating and getting out and do something.

Underrated metaphor, absolutely agree with it.

I guess it depends on your personality. Ideally you'd own the situation and remain confident with her, which would then help to comfort her in those public settings. Not everyone is able to do that though.
subway
prob in thne top 10 worst places to talk to a woman in general IMO
i did compliment two girls on their squats this week at my gym, both in very good shape, not like a fitness professional but they train, not work out. they did actually have great form (and mobility, something I will never have) and they seemed totally fine, and i didn't go past that.
i said something similar to another girl in my gym early this year and she was very much "i don't want to talk to anyone ever in this place". later found out that she had a bf, which wasn't really that surprising, but maybe the unfriendliest person i've ever met there, which includes an ex-Raiders linebacker.
everyones diff though. and, personally, i get it. i can get all my work done in an hour an a half if i wake up at the butt crack to train, but if i go at 6 or 7p it's taking 2 hours or more, partly because there's twice as many people, partly because that window is like a social hour and everyone is chatting. seriously--i had to wait 25 mins for a rack to start, and at another point watched two pairs of people on two bench racks do like 2 sets in 15 minutes. read the room

Totally, especially in Hermosa. Saw an absolutely jacked brunette FBB just walking around there a few weeks ago. And a lot of the competitive volleyball players are also really muscular and ripped... in addition to being tall AF.

Turns out I’m playing vb wt the wrong nets
We are living in a godless, evil age where a man can be publicly humiliated and disgraced just for glancing at a sexy pritty kitty at the gym. What makes you think there is a good time or place to find a muscular pritty kitty to call your own? There isn’t!

Hah well she wasn't a volleyball player, she was just walking on Pier ave. Absolutely huge arms and legs, I nearly spit out my coffee. Still regret that I didn't work up the courage to talk to her, but she had airpods in and was moving pretty quickly.

Legit lol.
Yeah, I'm sure it's just the godless evil age that's holding you back from bedding countless "pritty kitties."
Funny how normal, fairly fit guys who aren't crazy don't have a difficult time simply saying hello and giving a compliment or two, but that's clearly out of reach for some dudes. I guess it's easier to blame women or blame society in general though.

Uh, my man, that’s not a healthy outlook at all.
Meeting an FBB is very unlikely, especially if youre not a body builder youself (I am assuming youre not).
Ask yourself what you want.
Do you want a relationship? If so, an FBB should not be your top priority. Maybe you would prefer someone who is into fitness. Fine. If you want a relationship with a fit woman, get in the gym, join a running/cycling club, socialise with those in those groups/clubs and show that you have a genuine shared interest. Get to know them, ask them out.
The other alternative is that you want a quick hook up with a muscular woman.
There are three options here. Join a dating app like Tinder or Feeld that caters to hook-ups. Feeld caters to fetishes.
Go clubbing (unlikely to easily meet someone that meets your preferences)
Pay for it.
